FROM BESTSELLING GAY ROMANCE AUTHOR BAILEY BRADFORDBook two in the Calendar Men seriesOne cool cat is about to discover just how hot love can be.Darin Winger is beginning to regret ever volunteering to be a model for the charity calendar. There’s already been an attack on all the people working on the photo shoot, which resulted in a nasty case of food poisoning for Darin and others. Then there … poisoning for Darin and others. Then there was the fire at Marco’s place, which had resulted in the photographer being injured. To what extent, Darin doesn’t know, but now the photo shoot is back on, and Marco’s daughter Perry is in charge of everything.
Which would be fine, except the weather causes delays, people cause delays, almost everything causes delays—and Darin is ready to return to his regularly scheduled life as a nurse and dog shifter. If one more thing goes wrong…
The last straw might be the arrival of an uptight feline shifter named Arturo Casarez, who demands that Perry move the photo shoot off the grounds of the museum.
Except there’s something about Arturo that calls to Darin. Now he’ll have to convince Arturo to give him a chance.

Darin volunteered to be a model for the charity calendar. Although he is now kind of regretting it. The entire shoot has been a catastrophe! From food poisoning to house fires, the shoot was delayed and now its back on. But again, there are numerous delays. Darin just wants to get his photos complete and go back to his life! Then he meets Arturo!
Arturo is the curator for the museum the calendar shoot. Noticing the guy in the purple jock, he is definitely interested in him. Only he can not allow the shoot to continue. The models are wearing next to nothing and with the steady stream of school children, they can not have that. He volunteers his house to use as a replacement.
I have really enjoyed reading this Calendar Men series by Bailey Bradford! It’s about shifters who are on the nerdy side and I love it! I felt the chemistry between Darin and Arturo from the beginning. Should it matter that one is a cat shifter and the other a dog shifter?? They want to find a way to make it work.
But there are other matters to worry about! Someone is still targeting the photo shoot. Who is it and what do they want?? You’ll have to pick up this little gem to find out! It’s a fun read!

M/M Shifter Romance
Triggers: Sabotage
Darin is a nurse who loves what he does. He is also a canine shifter. When he is roped into helping with the calendar shoot, he has no choice – but he doesn’t like everyone involved and there is some conflict. What he doesn’t expect is to see Arturo. First look and he knows that there is a connection.
Arturo is the nerdy guy who is serious about his job. He can’t have almost naked men around when there are young school children coming to the museum. Arturo’s friends are also behind him in the museum, but one co-worker in particular is a struggle to get along with. There is some strife on the work side, but mostly, Arturo is okay to live his life and wish he could attract a man as yummy as Darin.
When sparks fly between Arturo and Darin, not everyone is happy about it. They have okay chemistry and the story has some twists, but mostly, this is a very straight forward story about falling in love and holding on to love when it finds you. There wasn’t some great mystery or surprise – you knew there was going to be a reveal, but overall, this was just an okay story.

This is the second book in the series and if you have read Mr. January you will know that the whole calendar project is one already beset by disasters. Well February is just as problematic, although thankfully with less serious injuries.
Perry has taken over the photography and was really happy to have found an alternative shoot site. Sadly, this is also nixed, but curator Arturo allows them to use his gardens instead. Everything seems back on track, and Arturo even finds that Mr. February may just be the icing on the cake.
I didn’t expect a cat and dog shifter to get on so well, but Ms. Bradford makes it work, and the first morning after scene is both funny and cute. They definitely have a great deal of chemistry, which added to their new friendship, gives us hope for a happy ending. Obviously, there are a few challenges along the way, some less welcome than others.
I have Mr. March waiting on my Kindle, which is excellent news.
Reviewers on the Wicked Reads Review Team were provided a free copy of Mr. February (Calendar Men #2) by Bailey Bradford to read and review.
Independent reviewer for Divine Magazine, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 2, and while not really necessary to have read book one, it might help give you an idea of just how doomed this charity photo shoot is!
Because now the shoot is supposed to be in the museum’s grounds, and there are CHILDREN about, young children who do not need to see semi nekkid (and before someone jumps down my throat, yes, that is how I MEANT to spell it!) guys wandering around. Enter Arturo, who offers the use of his land instead. But the shoot brings him into contact with Darin, and Darin’s dog shifter half, wants to play with Arturo and his kitty half.
While actually shorter in length that book one, this seemed longer when I read it. I enjoyed it more too! No idea what’s different in this one to that but hey! I don’t really care. What was different, it was good.
I still can’t see this shoot getting anywhere off the ground, with one setback after another, but again, I don’t really care because I am really enjoying these! What I particularly like, is the shifter element is kinda added on, you know?? Its not a massive point of interest in the story line and I’m loving that!
And also, because the pairings are such polar opposites, it’s great fun watching the come together, to fight the attraction because one or both of them can’t see the other wanting them. excellent writing!
So, Ms Bradford, please keep these guys coming. Not least because I wanna see that this calendar actually gets off the ground!
creeping up to 4.5 stars but not quite 5…yet!
