…then he meets Katie, who takes pity on him,
I love how they meet and how their friendship grew into more..
…the slow burn, small moments, and realization when true feelings surfaced!!
Nicole Goodin’s Mr. February is a cute romance about what happens when you find love when you aren’t looking. You’d think wedding planner Katie has love at her fingertips. Motivated, funny, always the bridesmaid this girl is seriously lacking when it comes to men. It isn’t until bar owner Jackson gets a little too tipsy that love finds her way, except he is all hung up on his ex. Can these two friends find love after all?
Goodin’s best friends to lovers romance was everything you expect in a romance. Sweet, somewhat short, Mr. February had my attention from cover to cover. Katie and Jackson’s banter was excellent even if I’m not up on all the British slang. I found it easy to follow and hard not to fall in love with. If you are looking for a sweet, fun loving romance then make sure you check out Mr. February. I, for one, can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
Jackson is drowning himself in booze at his bar because of the betrayal by his exfiancé and his best friend. Katie gets left behind by her bar hopping bestie when she takes a phone call. Katie can’t leave the drunk stranger by himself in case he gets sick. One round of hot morning after sex and she walks away. A surprise meeting puts them back together. Can Jackson convince her to be his friend and if there are benefits all that much better.
Katie and Jackson have great chemistry which makes the story such a fun read. The banter, text messages and emails will keep you laughing. The author does a great job of taking a tragedy and turning it into a wonderful story. I love the first 2 and can’t wait to read the rest of the year!
