The second book in the Calendar Boys series was witty, feisty, romantic and sizzling hot. Jackson is broken hearted and Katie is a woman with a huge heart. These two characters will have you wrapped around their fingers in no time at all as they make you laugh, frustrate you and have you swooning. Mr February is way too good for just one month, especially being that it is the smallest month of the year, personally I would keep him up all year round. A light hearted romantic comedy with just a touch of everything to have you captivated right from the start.
This is the second book I’ve read from the author, Nicole S. Goodin, the first being Mr January. I thought the plot was so different to many other books that often come in series – usually they all have a theme (for e.g. all sports romance, all billionaire themed etc) – but I feel like with this series in particular, each character has a different story that is unpredictable – you don’t know what is going happen next. Mr February is such a sweet, flirty read about a man overcoming his hurt after is fiancé cheats on him with his best friend. I honestly would recommend this book and to be honest, this is a new favourite – I’ll probably read it again very soon.

Happy read under the circumstances. Broken heart vs happiness. He chose right when he met her. She made him see that there is more to life than drowning your sorrows. Got to respect her for that. I really enjoyed reading it as well as the unpublished books in the series.

This second instalment of the Calendar Boys introduces us to bar owner Jackson Matthews, a hunk nursing a broken heart with a not-so-healthy intake of alcohol when the pain gets too much. Katie is a wedding planner who tells it like it is and doesn’t let her growing feelings get in the way of her new friendship with Jackson. After all, her feeling are hers and he’s not over his ex yet. But he makes an awesome friend. Especially since her best friend has turned into Bridezilla…
I fell in love with Jackson right along with Katie… If a girl was ever looking for a book boyfriend, he is it.
I loved Mr January and found myself loving Mr February even more. Can’t wait for Mr March now!!

Jackson is tanking his sorrows.
He just found out his buddy and his fiancée (as of last week now his ex) are together and he’s been dumped.
Katie stays with him that night because of his intake. There was puke involved. She’s kind and responsible.
In the morning they hit it hard but Katie leaves.
Four months later, Katie walks into his restaurant to book it for a wedding in 12 weeks.
Jackson really is a dreamboat, despite meeting Katie under less than optimal circumstances.

I am so in love with Jackson and Katie. This was so much fun to read. I think I laughed pretty much through the read. I’m definitely checking out the other books in the series.
Mr February is the second in this “Calendar” series from Nicole S. Goodin and it was just an absolute riot to read, I loved it from beginning to end. Katie the event planner meets super drunk Jackson the bar owner alone and drowning his sorrows in a bottle of bourbon, after his fiancee runs off with his best friend
Katie helps him to bed and stays with him all night to make sure he is ok, even cleaning up his bucket after he vomits. Next morning they part ways after a passionate romp and though both have made an impression on each other Katie knows that Jackson is not ready to meet someone new so she takes the fling for what it is and leaves while Jackson is asleep.
Four months later they meet again and are still attracted to each and decide to be friends maybe with benefits. Everything that comes with this friendship is just sweet and hilarious. I loved their banter especially their texts – teasing with a subtle layer of truth beneath. They are so obviously falling for each other but Jackson is still refusing to let go of his ex, and recover from his dented male ego. Being with Katie eventually makes him realise that he can have a happy future if he will just let himself..
Nicole writes a great story portraying an amazing and strong woman who knows what she wants and goes after it while at the same time being supportive and allowing Jackson come to her in his own time I enjoyed Mr February so much I cant wait for Mr March.
Jackson is nursing a broken heart after his fiancee left him for his friend. Katie comes into the bar and sees handsome hunk Jackson sloppy drunk. She takes him home to make sure he doesn’t end up in trouble. The two have chemistry but will Jackson be able to put the past behind him? Can Katie put up with Jackson? A sweet, quick read.
Full of witty banter and romanctic comedy, Goodin writes a story that will fullfil any romance junkie need for a funny and passionate tale.
OMG! I am so in love with this series! I have read Mr, January and Mr. February since yesterday! Nicole S. Goodin is a new to me author, and I cannot get enough! Katie and Jackson were amazing! I love Katie’s no-nonsense attitude, that was so refreshing to see! And Jackson, OH JACKSON, he is so swoon worthy! There is not a lot of drama (which I LOVED), and all of the characters are amazing! I cannot wait to start Mr. March!!
I am seriously loving the Calendar Boys series so far! These books really showcase how far Nicole has come and how amazing her storytelling is!
Mr Feb introduces us to Katie and Jackson.
Jackson is completely heartbroken, scorned and betrayed by his fiancé and bestie.
Katie is accidentally locked in the bar and deserted by her friends, so she helps Jackson to his apartment above the bar.
From there they develop a mutual attraction and budding friendship.
I found Katie and Jackson to be hilarious, their banter so realistic it get like I was part of the conversation. Katie’s friend Tillie was so comical she had me laughing out loud at times.
I love so much that these are short novels that aren’t being weighed down by heaps of sex and no plot. The development is very satisfying and overall a great read.
Cannot wait for Mr March!
Mr. February was such a fun read! Mr. January was so good that I was worried Mr. February would pale in comparison, but this was another great book. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!
Katie is one independent, sassy lady as well as an amazing friend. I liked her immediately. Jackson really tugged at my heartstrings. I wanted to hug him and tell him everything would get better. The chemistry between them is instant and palpable!
The plot reminded me of a favorite movie of mine, “Leap Year,” but with subtle differences. Katie and Jackson certainly have their hands full with Tillie and her wedding plans! They kept me shaking my head wondering what would be next!
Mr. February was my second book by Nicole S. Goodin, and it’s the second book in the Calendar Boys series. They appear to be only very loosely connected, and they can easily be read as standalones. I look forward to the next book, Mr. March.
Mr February- Nicole S Goodin.
Nicole Goodin is turning me into a seriously hopeless addict of this series.
Mr February introduces us to Jackson Matthews. One hunk of a hottie bar owner but a man who’s had his heart ripped out by a witch called Lizzie, his ex-fiancé.
On a drunken bender, he’s meets Katie North, wedding planner and devout singleton. Katie’s a fixer and when the drunk at the bar tries to sweet talk her, she feels a need to rescue the poor sucker and takes him home. Let’s just say that it’s the start of a beautifully crazy friendship.
Every character was written superbly, with smart, sassy and witty banter aplenty. Loved Katie and her friend Tillie’s mad conversations as well as Jackson and his best bud, Bryn’s unrelenting bro code.
I’d love to read more about Katie and Jackson as well as the other mad characters in this upbeat, fabulously funny romcom.
Five big stars for Book two in this series…… keep em coming Nicole.
Well written sweet and fun read. Nice storyline and plot. A theme that is not that different from others. But I like the characters, the chemistry, the twists and it caught me.
Both characters has to let go of the past to get their HEA. Not always easy to do.
Engaging and entertaining read.
The book was Kick-Ass from the start they kept me in when Im out until the end I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to read and review the book to give it my honest opinion and I will be telling everybody about the book nothing can go worng with a sexy sexy sexy man

This was an enjoyable read. Jackson is having a hard time moving on from his cheating ex. He is completely wasted one night and Katie decides to help him get home. They quickly become friends but of course in time they want more. The problem is that Jackson still is having a hard time moving on. Until one night he finally realizes what and who he wants is right in front of his face.
Love this book so hard! Sweet, sexy and full of giggles. My favourite series of the year!
Thanks Nicole S. Goodin!
Jackson wakes up and sees a stunning woman in his bed, after a night of drinking, he knows he has to wake her, surprised she stayed not wanting him to choke. When she asks why he was drinking he knows he owes her the truth, and after feels something in the air between them, he wants her, and she doesn’t stop him.
Katie knows that she should have said goodbye but decides leaving while he’s asleep is for the best.
Months later Jackson sees Katie again when her friend wants to book his venue for her wedding, he liked Katie, but she walked out and he couldn’t contact her, but Katie wants to keep it professional between them.
Katie can’t deny that her and Jackson are working as friends and he makes her smile, but he’s a distraction an a sexy one at that, but she knows that Jackson isn’t over he’s ex.
The problem Katie knows she’s falling a little bit for Jackson, while he knows there’s chemistry there when their together, he’s feeling things for her he doesn’t think he’s ready for, but will he ever be or will it take someone to push him to realise what’s right in front of him.
Oh SWEET BABY JESUS Mr. February totally rocked my world! I love this series and with each book we get a different story and this one really blew my mind because it was sad and funny all in one. I know that sounds confusing but this story had some sad moments and other moments were funny and full of love and joy and happiness.
Jackson and Katie meet one night in Jackson’s bar where he is drop down sloppy drunk and Katie comes to his rescue and takes him home and watches him to make sure he will be alright. Then in the morning when Jackson finds this gorgeous woman in his house he wants her and so they have a one morning stand. Katie knows he is not over his ex so she does not stay around to get her feelings hurt so she leaves after having her fun.
Then her friend is getting married and wants the wedding at Jackson’s bar and she gets to see him again. She is pretty sure he is not over his ex but she can’t deny the chemistry they have together so she becomes his friend with benefits. But is this going to be enough for Katie? Or will she need more of a commitment from Jackson and can he give her commitment?
I loved Mr February and can’t wait for Mr March to see what he brings to March!
Jackson owns a bar when he meets Katie and the two have an interesting interaction from the first meeting. Nursing a broken heart, he is drinking and trying to forget all about the betrayal of his girlfriend and former best friend. Katie is hoping to host an event at his bar for the upcoming nuptials of her best friend and the friend’s fiance. As the planning ventures onward, they spend time with one another and they get to know each other. Neither know it yet but love is underway as their development blossoms into something wonderful.
