A fast, sexy read. Hannah and Jesse had a rough start, but their attraction smoothed the path. Wonderful character and a fun story.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Jesse works in the family business as a chef, Hannah works with Jesse as his assistant. Evan though the book was short it still gave a good fulfilling story.

Jesse has an Apple pie food truck that features his family farm’s apples. He had done so well he hires Hannah. She ticks him off daily until one day she doesn’t. It is a very cute shorter story about two chefs falling in love. The characters are fun.

A sweet and short romance with a bit of steam added in for good measure. Jesse and Hannah can heat up the kitchen and then some. Jesse isn’t pleased with Hannah coming in to his kitchen and telling him how to make a recipe but when she makes it, it’s the best and oh so good. Working with her to make more recipes Jesse finds himself attracted to Hannah. Hannah has been trying to hide her attraction toward Jesse but will they each decide to stop trying to hide their true feelings and have a relationship?

One Hothead + One Classically trained Chef = Fireworks and steamy heat in the kitchen
I loved the story of Jesse, Mr. Apple Pie, and Hannah. Jesse runs the restaurant and food truck at the Appleton family apple farm. He also invented/started the fried apple pie that put the family bakery on the map and has won awards with it. However, he is a “hothead” (what his mother calls him) which causes a lot of arguments with Hannah.
Hannah is a classically trained chef and was hired 6 months ago to help in the bakery and on the food truck. She grew up in the area and her mother is a friend of the Josie, Mrs. Appletom.
Hannah made the mistake of changing the classic fried apple pie recipe, on a whim, by adding cream cheese to the filling and Jesse is more than upset and the sparks fly.. But after trying it he sees he was wrong as it is fantastic. After Hannah says something to him Jesse starts to realize that he my be wrong in his thinking and how he is behaving towards Hannah. This leads to them slowly coming together and being creative in the kitchen and starting on a relationship, with a few nudges and comments from other Appleton family members.
Terra Kelly has once again written a fun, witty, energetic, romantic and realistic short story with wonderful characters and a great story-line.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The storyline was great and the wonderful characters kept me so enthralled as I turned each and every page I felt like Jesse and Hannah jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
Another cute, quick and steamy story in this series. Love them all. Can’t wait for the next installment!!
Loved Jesse’s story. It’s fun, sweet and warms the heart.
Jesse’s the pie maker for the Appleton family’s apple farm. He’s a bit of a hothead. Hannah’s been hired in the kitchen. She’s a professionally trained chef, and doesn’t let Jesse forget that. She changes a recipe without talking to him first, which ticks him off. Turns out that it’s a good change – they sold out of pies made from the new recipe. Hannah has a secret – she’s got a huge crush on Jesse. Turns out that he has one on her as well. This was a nice story – short enough to read in an afternoon. The characters worked well together, once they stopped fighting. I’m looking forward to more in this series.

I enjoyed getting to read about Jesse and thought this was a good short story. I liked that Hannah was a chef and even though at first Jesse wasn’t happy they ended up with their happy ending.

Mr. Apple Pie is the ninth book in the Man Card series and it’s centered around Jesse and Hannah. Jesse runs the food truck for Appleton Farms and when Hannah is hired, sparks fly. They have been arguing for months. Will anything make Jesse change or will Hannah get fed up and leave? Grab your copy and read this fast, sexy read. You’ll be wanted a fried apple pie, when you finish.
Jesse and Hannah were great.
Jesse is a man stuck in the past at least that is with his apple pies now enter Hannah who is going to help him make his pies and what does she do but change up the recipe. Now can you see how sparks may just fly between these two? This is a cute story with great banter, steam, and humor and it was so entertaining. Jesse Appleton is in charge of baking the family recipe for fried apple pies until his mother brought in a chef to help create new ideas. Hannah is a sous chef by trade. She fell in love or lust with Jesse’s hands when she started working for the Appleton Farms. One day she decided to change the recipe without checking with Jesse first.
Jesse fell in love with the new recipe and also Hannah. They worked out their differences and finally had their happily ever after.

Good but simple
Simple, well-written and cute romance, but fairly predictable as soon as the two heroes stop arguing.
Jesse provokes Hannah who cooks pies with him for 6 months until she presents him a dish that makes him question himself and starts to look at her differently.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
