JT Sheppard is the last man standing in his family. That is, his father and brothers have fallen in love and married or are close to it; but, that’s not for him. He’s served his country in the Marines in Afghanistan and now it’s his time to have fun and enjoy life, unencumbered. He finally has the chance to show his dad that he can design award-winning bikes, and he’s determined to win the big … showdown in Sturgis.
Kayden Leathers is a tough little gal with an entrepreneurial spirit and a zest for life, even though life hasn’t always been her friend. Raising her little girl on her own and keeping her dad’s bar running has become daily routine. Deciding to take her life in a different direction, she began developing her dream business; now all she needed was a little luck and a lot of help.
Kayden’s ex has some rough friends and they want her dad’s bar. Chasing away the clientele and putting her father in the hospital is just the beginning. JT wants to help Kayden, but in doing so finds out things aren’t always what they seem. As JT and Kayden get to know each other, they realize they have more in common than either dreamed. But trouble lurks around every corner. Can love conquer all?

5. Book 5: Moving to You: Rolling Thunder Series: JT and Kayden: 4 stars
I purchased Moving to You: Rolling Thunder Series, Book 5 by PJ Fiala and this review was given freely.
JT has aspirations of becoming a motorcycle designer full time and while staying with his mentor, Jeremiah’s army buddy Oakes, JT falls in love with Oakes’ daughter the single mom and clothing designer Kayden. This a well balance and action packed full length novel which evokes a roller coaster of emotions resulting from violence in the form of the local Devils MC Club antics, disappointment in the form of a veteran and best friend being a secretive drug dealer, the heart meltingly sweet little girl Dakota, the caring and sometimes steamy scenes between JT and Kayden, and of course the support and love of the Sheppard family.
6. Book 6: Moving Home: JT and Kaden 5 stars
I received a free copy of Moving Home {Rolling Thunder Series} book 6 by PJ Fiala and this review was given freely.
Shorter than prior books in the series, the continued story of JT and Kayden is suspenseful, fast paced and full of drama. It opens with the continued violence and sinister intent of the Dakota Devils MC. Sweet family scenes and the steamy moments between JT and Kayden balance out the evil in this easy flowing event filled novel.
Another great story to the series. This is JT’s story. The only single guy in his family JT and the crew head to Sturgis to show off his bike design in a contest. While there they are staying with a friend and they meet his daughter single mom Kayden and there is an instant connection between these two. Kayden is a busy woman between taking care of her daughter, helping her dad at the bar, fending off her ex’s biker gang and trying to sell her conceal garments, she debates if she could find time to have a little fling with JT while he is here for the competition. This was a great story filled with love, drama, secrets and suspense.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Loved JT’s story. Loved Dakota she was so precious. Glad things turned out OK for JT and Kaydne. Her dad’s heart was in the right place for his girls but not the right way to go about it. Glad JT’s family stuck by him and his new little family. Never been to Surgis so don’t know how things really go there. With so many different clubs and bikers there’s bound to be some kind of disturbance. Great book, really enjoyed it. This one was my favorite except for the first book. GREAT JOB.
J.T. Has his sights set on designing and building motorcycles, but he needs to win the bike build off in Sturgis to achieve his goal. What he did not plan on was finding the woman of his dreams and falling in love with Kayden. But will the mess her father is involved in stop the two from having a future? Or will J.T. build more than just motorcycles and actually find his future? With beautifully written characters and a heartwarming storyline that make me laugh and made me cry this book should not be missed. P.J. Fiala does not disappoint.
Patti is an amazing author. This series is about love, harleys, crazy people and above all they help other vets. These books are fantastic reads. It’s not your average MC books, they are actually family who take of their own and others. A MUST READ.
