I really liked this book. It’s funny with realistic characters. I didn’t want to put it down.
This was a fun mystery that I read on the plane. I laughed at some of
The characters and related to some of them. The plot was good and the answer
To the mystery was kept well hidden unto the reveal.
As a child and adult who moved several times, I identified with the main character in a big way. ?//thankfully, we never found any dead bodiesin our houses, but the feelings of attachment were very real. I will definitely look for more books by this author!
Cleverly written, with witty and relatable situations and characters. Many Baby Boomers can relate to the myriad of emotions downsizing offers but Carol has murder thrown into the mix! A totally enjoyable read.
Loved this book. Couldn’t wait to download books 1 & 3. Almost ready for book 4! Sheer delight!!
Well written.
Good characters and a fun read.
Thought provoking for those who are nearing retirement- it deals with some of the decisions and emotions that one experiences as they move into this phase from an older wife and mother as well as finding humor and mystery along the way
Love the Cozy Mysteries. Light hearted, easy reading.
A very enjoyable read!
Any married person will relate to the joy of moving this book presents.
This is a great plane book. It keeps moving and is light enough to put down for a nap.
Prompted me to get others from same author.
Good characters and an interesting plot. Kept my interest. I didn’t predict the ending which is always good in my opinion.
Highly believable characters, situations you can see actually happening, and just a fun experience.
Characters were predictable. Great twist at end just when it seemed it was all tied up
Started out so slow I deleted it.
Light reading and entertaining.
Enjoyed reading with characters of a “senior” age
Editing in this second book was much better. First book her daughter was getting married but this book her daughter was still single so that was a little disconcerting. Overall a fun read with interesting characters. Kept my attention to the end and ending was a total surprise. Would recommend this one.
Had some page turner spots but by in large, and easy, enjoyable uncomplicated read. I liked that the characters were retirement aged and had history long time relationships to fall back on..much like real life (except for the murder). A nice way to spend a couple of afternoons.
This was a fast moving book with many plot twists and turns
