A shifter betrayed by family… tissue.
Then, for the first time in years…a single, tiny pulse.
Nick’s fought long and hard to win back his little girl and give them both the life his late wife would have wanted. He hopes the new nanny, Maggie, will help bridge the chasm between them, and encourage the girl to see him as more than the monster she’s been raised to believe he is.
But Maggie has her own secrets, like the fact Nick sends heat rushing through her body each time she meets his eyes. Their chemistry is undeniable, but she can’t succumb to the attraction. Because if he knew the truth about her, she’d smash the last fractured pieces of his heart beyond all hope of repair.
This is a super steamy paranormal wolf shifter fantasy romance with an HEA and no cliffhangers. Fans of Terry Bolryder, Zoe Chant, Harmony Raines and Ruby Dixon may like this wolf shapeshifter series.

Nick is at his wits end. After losing his daughter for eight years, (his in-laws planned to discredit and bankrupt him, then take away their granddaughter) he now has her back, but she hates her dad now, (the grandparents poisoned her against him) and wants nothing to do with him. It was bad enough when he lost his wife (she died) but at least he had his daughter, but all he has now is an angry, scared and confused daughter, he’s also aware that she will go into her first shift soon, but he doesn’t think his in-laws told her. What’s a dad to do? Maggie is running out of options! The family restaurant is closing. She needs to keep it open for her dad. But she’s found out that her uncle signed an agreement and now unless they find a substantial amount of money the restaurant will close. And being told if she spies on someone and find evidence to discredit him, then the restaurant will be saved. So Maggie and Nick meet up and she agrees to be a companion to Nick’s daughter rather than a babysitter. And now we are off to Colorado, Nick has the chance to get his business back up on its feet, and reconnect with his daughter, before she shifts for the first time. Both are attracted to one another, but Nick needs to concentrate on his daughter. He doesn’t think hitting on the babysitter would go down well with his daughter. And Maggie can’t get involved, she needs to break this family up and keep her family’s restaurant open. But she can’t help thinking Nick isn’t as bad as Maggie was told. He has something on his mind, but he doesn’t want to share, but if she finds out, can she use it to her advantage? And what will Nick say when he finds out that Maggie is a spy for his wife’s family? This is the first book in a four book series.
