A single dad, scarred by the past… mistakes, but come hell or high water he will love and protect his girl. Especially from people like her mother.
When an artist comes to restore the murals at his family’s summer camp, Jake immediately smells a rat. The young woman is nervous, secretive, and worst of all, attractive. He’s been down this road before; Marley may as well be wearing a red flag and a pair of devil horns. There is no way he’s letting her into their lives.
That is, until the unthinkable happens.
The desperate father suddenly finds himself way out of his depth, and the very person he swore not to trust might be the only one who can help him.
This is a steamy paranormal wolf shifter fantasy romance with an HEA and no cliffhangers. Fans of Terry Bolryder, Zoe Chant, Harmony Raines and Ruby Dixon may like this wolf shapeshifter series.

Marley grew up suppressing her magic believing it was evil. After being betrayed by a boyfriend, she finds solace and the truth about her magic and her past at Serendipity when her friend asks her to come.
Jake’s ex-wife cast a spell on him to drain him of his magic, trying to gain access to Serendipity. He’s become bitter and disillusioned but he wants better for his daughter so he returns to Serendipity in hopes to heal himself and take better care of his daughter.
Jake’s distrust of witches makes for a rough beginning but Marley’s goodness shines through. Jake seems to have a split personality and that get’s explained away as the story develops.
I liked these two and Jake’s daughter a lot, there is some choppiness in the story but overall a great romance about two people who’ve been abused by those they’ve loved before and the healing power of love and magic.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Mountain Wolf’s Curse by Serena Meadows is the second book in the Daddy Wolves of the Wild series. I read this as a drop-in, I have not read Nick and Maggie’s story. I thought this quick read was well written. I loved the character development and the storyline pulls you in. I really enjoyed the way the legend and magic were woven into the story. Jake and Marley’s story is enhanced by Stella and her antics. A sweet and spicy read that will leave you smiling and wanting another story… hint, hint…
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Bookfunnel.
I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. Jake went back to Serendipity with Stella after terrible things happened to him. I liked that Maggie brings her best friend Marley there to see the mural and she is drawn to stay. I felt for everything Jake had been through and I am glad he was able to move past what Melissa did to him. I am also glad that Marley was able to accept her magic and use it to help Jake.
I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
I loved the book! It was easy to read and the storyline flowed well. The characters had great depth and kept me turning the pages. I look forward to reading more of your books.
This book was a wonderful read with great character and storyline development! The chemistry between Marley and Jake was HOT and kept me totally glued to my kindle until the very end!
This was a great sequel in this series. This was a great and easy book to read. As always Ms Meadows did not disappoint her reader.
Love, faith, healing, Fate, magic and the power of the murals all come together to make a great story. I voluntarily received this book for a honest review.
Jake has a demon attached to him by his ex to find serendipity the place of his home and the magic that surrounds it. Marley is an art restorer who has had some problems and rings her friend Maggie who tells her to come Colorado. When Marley gets there and sees what Maggie shows her all Marley’s effort at keeping her magic a secret is gone. Jake notices Marley and knows she is a witch as he can sense it and straight away puts in on alert as he is scarred from the dealings with his ex wife and also the thoughts the demon is feeding him. Marley’s magic is getting stronger and the Muriel she is here to restore are changing showing the further and past. Things between her and Jake get complicated but a realization comes that they are fated to be together with Jakes family ties to Serendipity and Marley’s ancestors who originally put the spells on serendipity to keep it hidden. First need to get rid of Jakes demon then to take on the ex wife to ensure she and other witch covens who use evil magic never find it
Jake is a single dad, scarred by the past. Marley is a witch who stands for all he despises. Can they figure things out when a greater evil rises?
This is the second book in this series. So good. Loved Jake and Marley. They’re story made me cry. Well written. Can’t wait for the next one.
