She’s the shy, quiet girl next door. He’s the bad ass biker with an attitude. It’s never going to work. . .Sunny knows she should steer clear of her neighbor. He’s rough, gruff and quite possibly, dangerous. So why can’t she keep her mind off him? Or her body from reacting around him? Or her Little side from wanting to appear and beg him to cuddle her, kiss her, spank her. . .Duke barely notices … .
Duke barely notices his neighbor. Until she becomes a convenient target for his bad mood. Afterwards he feels awful. In fact he starts to notice her in a completely different light.
He might be a biker with an attitude, but all he’s ever wanted is someone to love and protect. Someone to dominate and cherish. And it seems to him that Sunny just might give him everything he needs.
If only he was in a place to accept all she has to offer.

Ah, how I enjoyed, sincerely loved & enjoyed this one!
A rough tough biker (Duke/H) who has no use for any people other than his club brothers is propelled against his better judgement into the life of his uber sweet, shy & kind next door neighbor (Sunny/h).
For months Duke successfully ignored his neighbor Sunny & her husband although he did notice that after awhile the husband no longer lived there leaving Sunny on her own. However, not his business or concern or even his interest. But one day Sunny has a day from Hell & Duke has to decide whether he’ll help her or call professionals to do so. And, again, against his better judgement he does & inadvertently finds out Sunny’s big secret: she’s a ‘Little’.
But Duke, although he does like light bondage & impact play in the bedroom is most definitely NOT a Daddy Dom.
Or is he?
This one is wonderfully written, the reader dives into the depths of this romance with delight. Duke is gruff, blunt, rough & tough & has been since the death of his family years ago. But somehow when he’s with Sunny an unrealized softer side emerges from his wounded soul, he finds himself increasingly protective of, soothed by, & desiring the woman who has carved her way into his frozen heart. And Sunny finds this formerly cold, distant, scary man makes her feel safe, protected, cherished, special. Things she’s not felt before in her life even with her ex-husband.
Ms. Roberts writing, as always, is beautifully evocative with a smooth flow that effortlessly draws the reader into the story & never ‘yanks’ or ‘jerks’ them out of it. I didn’t want to put this one down with the sweet loving romance that was perfectly spiced with some tense mystery/suspense & danger. I found myself on tenterhooks to know what would happen next & I was compelled to turn to the next page & the next.
I thoroughly loved Duke & Sunny’s journey exploring both their path to love & a DD/bg relationship. Once Duke determined he wanted to be Sunny’s Daddy Dom he was all in: focused, intense & serious about being the best Daddy Dom he could be. And that meant Sunny, who had always wanted to be a special Daddy Dom’s ‘Baby girl’, had to decide if the punitive consequences of being this man’s ‘baby girl’ were something she wanted in addition to the intense emotional & physical positives.
This one is such a feel good romance, I love when big tough burly bikers are beautifully blindsided by an unexpected love who is a kind & loving woman. The very few communication misunderstandings between them were never dragged out or allowed to create artificial drama: Duke could always tell when Sunny was upset or worried & managed to gently but firmly address the issue immediately. I loved that!! Artificial drama in a story irks me intensely.
This one soooo delivered for me: Duke was swoonworthy as a Hero, Sunny was a shy submissive yet strong heroine. I found it to be hugely heartwarming & soooo emotionally satisfying I was smiling through much of it. Yet, Ms. Roberts smoothly inserts mystery & danger into the plot making the reader worry for both Duke & Sunny at various points.
And, there is a thrilling, dark & deadly mystery character who inserts themself into Duke & Sunny’s life with unknown intent & goals . . . .
A beautifully & wonderfully written book I greatly enjoyed & loved, one I will reread again & again to relive Duke & Sunny’s journey.
I think most readers will too.

A very slow burn Daddy Dom romance
by EllenYS
This is the story of Duke and Sunny…
Duke encounters Sunny’s Little while Sunny is having a breakdown in front of her house. Although neighbours they barely know each other.
Duke is unsure how to deal with Sunny’s Little but determined to try. The love story is sweet and slow. Duke first wants to ensure he knows how to deal with Sunny but also that she is ready. I loved that Duke wanted to learn how to be what Sunny needed. This is a great role reversal to the norm we have in most romances.
There is some suspense and although this is toted as a MC romance this theme does not feel overwhelming and could have been a close group of friends as well.
I am interested in hearing more about the other secondary characters we were introduced to. Will read the next book in series.

A fastpaced and wellwritten book with a great storyline and thrilling characters. Love the bond between Duke and Sunny. Can not wait to get to read the next book in this series.

This is one of the first reads that I have read about the Little and daddy relationship. This was a little different from some of the other mc romances that I have read; but I would like to read more about his mc.

This is a truly lovely story. Sunny and Duke are complete opposites and Duke certainly doesn’t think of himself as a Daddy Dom and Sunny has suppressed her little side for so long she isn’t sure she can bring her out any more. However when Sunny is in need Duke comes to help her and the shower scene made me laugh out loud, it is a brilliant piece of comedic writing. Sunny is so sweet everyone likes her, even the supposed villain, the Fox, looks out for her and the real bad guys are made to pay. I loved this story and hope there will me more about the rest of the guys and especially Jewel who I suspect has a secret.
Sunny and Duke are neighbors. Their relationship quickly transforms into a relationship. Sunny maintains her independence, and stands up for herself. I loved reading this book.

Sunny hadn’t had an easy go of things. She’s a little at heart but her first Daddy wasn’t very giving and thought she had to earn affection. Her ex-husband didn’t know her little side existed because he was all about appearances and making sure she conformed to what he wanted to be seen in public with. Now she’s all alone working a what is typically a man’s job for a disgusting man and a bunch of lazy co-workers, that is until her boss fires her the morning after turning him down at the bar after he accosted her. Enter Duke. The single next-door neighbor who rode a motorcycle. The man who looked like sex on a stick. Oh yeah, he’s the man who hollered at her for trying to be nice and mow his lawn and collect his mail from the mailbox so the homeowners association didn’t find him. This is the first book by Layla Roberts I’ve read and I can’t wait to read more of this “MC Daddies” series. The absolutely enjoyed the interaction between Duke and Sunny. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming, and sometimes heartbreaking. The chemistry between them was down to earth and just pulled me in instantly. Then there are the rest of the guys in the MC, most of whom are Daddy Doms. This is where Duke finds out he is as well. What a fun book.
This story is fun, engaging, and entertaining. I loved all the characters. Big bad bikers that are loving teddy bears. I love Sunny and Duke’s playful relationship. They are perfect for each other. Duke is a wonderful Daddy Dom. A badass with A heart of gold. An action-packed and very sweet story. A truly charming read.
My favorite character was the fox. He was so honest and real. He dazzled his way into my heart. Made me smile with his mischievous ways. He made the story special. I hope we get to read his story.
This story teaches us that you should never judge a person for being different. The bikers in this fantastic story are not perfect but they are good people and when you get to know you might fall in love with them. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I’m not sure how believable a biker Daddy Dom is, but it’s a really cute read. I would have liked to see more sexytimez with that dynamic to be sure. But, other than that it was a pretty good read.
Motorcycle Daddy– When Eden met Duke in the unsavory bar, I knew that he would turn out to be a giant squish of a teddy bear! So I called that one! You know what’s stranger than cowboys and mercs rescuing damsels in distress? A motorcycle gang! I’m just glad I have more Laylah Roberts books to shake my head through! I do think this one gets extra credit because Sunny goes from being nearly completely alone to having a whole army of really strange, hardened humans who would do just about anything for her. And this one has an assassin!! So very weird! Happy Reading!
Fun foray into the world of a motorcycle Daddy and his Little.
Boy this book was a breath of fresh air.
Sunny (a shy always helping people) lives next door to Duke (a dominant biker)
She tries to help Duke by mowing his grass so he does not get fined by the HOA.
First meeting of the 2 do not go well.
Sunny gets fired from her job and is shell shocked because she always does a better job than the guys.
She comes home and sits in her car for hours until Duke notices her and goes to help.
He automatically goes into Dom mode and then as time passes, slips into Daddy Dom with help from his MC fellow Doms.
Really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in this series and her other series as well.
I had read a couple of DD/lg, age play romances before and they did not do it for me at all. I was looking for something different and thought I would try it again. I enjoyed this read.
Laylah Roberts take on this subject was so different that I was really surprised. I had read this author’s work before, but it was more D/s than Daddy Dom.
I appreciated that the Daddy Dom/ little girl dynamic was completely consenual. It fulfilled a need in both Duke and Sunny. It was more than being about sex. It was more than just domination or submission, although that is part of it.
I liked both Duke and Sunny’s characters, and definitely felt the heat and chemistry between the two. There were a couple of good scenes that happened with Sunny’s boss and Sunny’s ex. I also liked Ink, Reyes, Razor, Madden, and Spike.
There was a warmth, caring, concern, and in a sense, an ability to lean on one another. It has moments of being very sweet. I have read books that felt creepy, but this was not one of them.
There was also a subplot that had some suspense and a few expected and unexpected twists.
I didn’t expect what I got from this MC Daddy Dom book, but I would definitely read the next in this series. I understand Laylah Roberts has another Daddy Dom series that I will probably check out.
Heartwarming romance between hippie love child, Sunny, and biker dude, Duke. Duke is the divorced Sunny’s next door neighbor who sees that Sunny has been sitting in her hot car in her driveway for several hours after she loses her job. He discovers the daddy in himself after he tends to little Sunny. He gives her a job at his tattoo parlor. He is a member of a motorcycle club who are dealing with their own problems. His protective daddy instinct kicks in big time when Sunny, used to being on her own, breaks his safety rules. They fall in love and find themselves dealing with unknown evil forces. This is well-written with a great plot. It’s steamy, hot and oh so tender. Can’t wait for the stories of the rest of the club members. Where can I find my own Duke?
This was fantastic!
I loved the characters and the plot and thought the DDlg aspect was really well written.
I heartily recommend this one and am excited for more books to come in the series.
