Read long ago. I cannot recall enough to write a fair and accurate review. However, Greg Iles rarely disappoint, perhaps on one or two books in the volume that he has written. His books are seldom short, but tending towards the lengthy side.
This is a good book but not great like so many of his books
I read anything Greg Iles writes. I love his characters!
I read it a long time ago . All I remember is it was excellent. I have yet to read a bad book by him.
Slow in the begining
This book has some, but very little, entertainment value. It is unnecessarily long, a bit predictable and is actually agonizing to read while you are waiting for further plot development. I would not recommend it.
I love everything Greg Iles writes!
This is one of his first books and is not in the same league as his later efforts. The book is way too long by reiterating the same thing over and over again, which I found irritating. The story is absurd. I have read all of Mr. Iles books and loved them, esp thePenn Cage series.
another great Greg Iles book
love this author, this is an original plot, a very good read.
This is a great piece of crime drama with the emphasis being on the “non-cops”. Iles is a master at this type of fiction. I enjoyed the book from the first page till the last.
Since I live in Mississippi GREG ILES is one of the best. The scenery is something I can easily identify with? He can (as most southerners get windy) at times LOL.
He is so realistic about his writing you feel as though you are there
This book disturbs and entertains. It stayed with me long after I stopped reading it, and is a relative departure from some of his other books.
Not anywhere near as good as his subsequent novels which are really really good.
I’ve read all most of Lyles books would recommend most
Didn’t want to put it down!
Greg iles is the master.
Not as readable as his previous works. Had a hard time staying with it.
Greg Iles writes books about the dark side of life in the Deep South. Even though he develops complex characters & great plot twists, this one was too dark for me though, as I struggled to finish it.
Too much about the technicalities of the computer. More than I wanted to read about!!
