Totally different from his Penn Cage books. Actually, a pretty good read.
Scary bad guy.
I couldn’t put this book down. Love all of Greg Iles
Iles doesn’t use formulas and I’ve read every book that he’s written
One of my faves by Greg Iles. My mom introduced me to him many moons ago. This one is book 1 based in Mississippi. A good place to start, and continue.
Can be read as stand alones. They are in my personal library. Can’t bear to part with them.
Book 2: 24 HOURS
Book 3: DEAD DLEEP
Book 4: SLEEP NO MORE (you won’t until you’ve finished)
Book 5: BLOOD MEMORY
This book intriguing & had a complex ending. Highly recommend it.
Greg Iles never disappoints!
Greg Iles is the BEST!
#Excellent reading.
We all know a little more about computers now than when this book was written and technology has made great advancements so it’s a little dated when you read it now but it’s still a great ride!
Loved it one of his best works. Amazing characters.
Hated it…really gross. Had to finish to see the bad guy get his, but would not recommend it. Twisted conversations about sex and other perversions…got boring after a while.
I ordered this book because I am a big fan of his work. It’s a long book, estimated time to read exceeds 12 hours, but I always enjoy his “long” books. At any rate, I almost set it aside as it dealt with issues that were abhorrent to me, but kept at it and glad I did. Not sure how it could or would be accomplished, but it would make for an excellent scary movie/film. Very scary! Very good!
I’m sure other people love this book and author…….but it’s not for me. The pace of the book is slow and I’m debating whether to finish it. I seldom quit reading before it’s done.
This book just started out trashy and I couldn’t get past Chapter 4. I don’t consider myself a prude but I just didn’t like this book at all. Greg Isles is normally a great writer. Really disappointed.
Love all of his books
Greg Iles is my favorite living American author. I have read all of his books, and they are impossible for me to put down. Mortal Fear is no exception.
terrible
Incredible character development and writing.
I recommend all Greg Iles books. Once you read one, you will look for otherd. Not a book easy to put down.
Greg Iles always comes through with a great read that is very well-written!
