I’ve just begun this book but I’m hooked!!!
Great fun! Couldn’t put it down.
Received this free for a review. The story is written in the style of Sherlock Holmes and this story is a spin off. In this story Moriarty becomes the main character and a good guy. I enoyed the story and found it entertaining. If you like Sherlock Holmes, you will like this book also.
Audio narrator brings the story alive!
Sherlock fans will love this twist!
I loved the most recent Sherlock TV series, but haven’t read many successful adaptations until now.
Moriarty as the main character was a fresh take on the Sherlock world. Angelina Gould was his equal in every way, making for a complex, character-driven story with mystery and romance. Jill Smith’s excellent narration brought the story to life enriching the historical setting and the characters’ emotions.
I highly recommend this audio version!
Very slow
What a wonderful trade with Sherlock Holmes and moriarity again facing off with each other as the unforgettable. character but giving moriarity a real human side. Enjoyable reading.
This entire series is very entertaining once you read the first one you want to continue and read all three. A cast of interesting characters in a suspense filled mystery.
Very well done. I enjoyed the bad guy perspective
Can you believe that Sherlock might have been…. it’s a mystery.
great story, wonderful characters
How daring to add a beloved literary figure to the cast of characters and somewhat castigate him! It works!
Given he is the “villain” adversary to Sherlock Holmes in Doyle’s books, this Moriarty is much too honorable. Holmes, in this book, is a fool. The author has the right to depict his characters as he wishes.. However, if he chooses to write about characters created by another, he should honor the original author’s vision.
Fans of Sherlock Holmes, rejoice! This is a new story with the feel of the original detective. What fun: best female lead since Good Morning, Irene.
Always enjoy the mystery
Interesting to
Love all the Moriarty books.
I tried. I rarely give up on a book. It was so slow and the characters simply did not make sense to me. I couldn’t finish the book.
I love reimaginings of Sherlock Holmes. This one takes takes the classic Holmes villain and makes him the hero. Holmes is relegated to a not very flattering supporting role. I am eager to see where the author goes with the Professor and Angelina
Just couldn’t get into it?!
This is whole different twist on Professor Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes.i recommend this story if your a Sherlock Holmes fan.
