Robinson Destruction 1. Thatcher 2. Morgan 3. Houston 4. Beckett 5. Jonas 6. Dawson Anna didn’t know what to do with the man who acted like he was attached to her hip. Every time she moved, just to get up and move to the bathroom, he’d be right there with her, helping her into a panic attack. Not really, but that was what it felt like to her. Morgan wasn’t sure what he’d have to do to convince … really,
but that was what it felt like to her.
Morgan wasn’t sure what he’d have to do to convince Anna that he wouldn’t
just up an leave her. She was a tiger too, and she knew they were mates
just as well as he did. But for some reason he couldn’t get her to trust
him.
“I don’t think that I’d offer you my hand. You’d more than likely bite
it off.”
She growled at him.
“I’m not sure if you feel the same way I do about me growling at you,
but all it does when you do it is make me want to spread you out before
me and lick every square inch of you.”

Anna is attending college and has avoided one of her professors like the plague. She’s heard the rumors of what he does to his female students but in Anna’s mind, she’s too old for him, but she isn’t taking any chances. Until she’s trapped. The next thing she knows, she’s waking up in a room she doesn’t recognize thinking she’s died and went to heaven until the voice above her starts swearing. Angels don’t swear. Not only does she find out she’s not dead but she’s the mate to the brother of the man who was swearing. She doesn’t trust men, with good reason, and she darn well doesn’t want a mate that thinks he’s going to tell her what to do. Kathi S. Brown adds another strong heroine to the Robinson family. This time, it’s the mate to Morgan, a professor at the college. The drama and turmoil of the storyline kept me intrigued and the love, chemistry, and passion of this couple had me turning pages. Now we get to have Houston’s story.
When it comes to Morgan’s book I was a bit torn on how I wanted to rate this book. In regards to the characters (main ones) Morgan and Anna I liked them.
Morgan is an all around good guy. It takes a lot to rile him up, if anything he’s more a lover than a fighter. He is the kind of guy you want in your corner if your battling demons, because not only is he a tiger, but he comes with a family of tigers and a sister-in-law who scares the beejeezus out of everyone.
Anna is a woman who doesn’t trust easily. After the way she was raised constantly bullied at school and then bullied and beaten at home by her father and brother, she’s convinced she’s better off alone.
Where I get annoyed with the book is in regards to the overall story. There were just too many events happening in this book and honestly there were a couple that I’m not even sure why the author included them in, unless it was to help “buff” the book or a word count issue.
For instance, we have the professor who had been raping & killing students. This event is an important one because it’s what brings Anna and Morgan together. What wasn’t believable for me and kind of had me rolling my eyes was the number of women this happened to and how the fact that there was no way the president found out about this. I’ve never heard of a university president sitting so far back from the schools that they don’t know what is happening, especially when it’s something this big!
Then we have Anna’s family issues. Her brother was able to escape prison because the prison employees as well as a funeral home employee was being bought by mobsters and gangs to get out their members. Once it’s mentioned that the Robinson brothers finally found the link and how people were getting out, especially Junior (Anna’s brother) it’s never mentioned again. I would’ve actually liked to more about what happened with this than what happens with Meggy’s brother. I mean come on! You mention a prison engaging in cannibalism, of course I want to know more about this and how it was handled!
Speaking of Meggy’s brother. That’s one event and person that was just kind of thrown in the story that I don’t think needed to be in this book. Not once in Thatcher’s book was it mentioned they had an uncle, and for him to kind of show up out of the blue didn’t make sense. Like I said, it’s something I feel could’ve been left out of the book altogether.
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book*
Another great read from a favorite author.
Loved Morgan and Anna

Anna and Rogan forge a friendship. Anna and Morgan are happily mated and enjoying parent hood.
Rogan’s organization has a traitor. Clean up agent Trust “Tru” Justice has landed on Thather’s operating table. Tru is wary about working with legendary agent Hall. Another agent tried to kill her and Rogan need her help to find out who and why.
Thather and Dawson are now working Rogan. Running a private practice for the community and a secret practice for Rogan’s agents.
Fast paced, sweet and a little steamy, shifter romance. Loved Morgan and Anna. Can’t wait for Houston and Tru’s story.
