It starts with a bang. As in me and Hadley, the maid of honor, during my brother’s wedding reception.Sure, it was amazing, but I’m a one-and-done kind of guy. After spending years of my life getting screwed over by managers and agents with the Ryder Brothers, I no longer like to commit. I don’t even play music anymore. The secret that I haven’t told anyone- is that I can’t.A chance to raise money … can’t.
A chance to raise money for my best friend’s nonprofit to help child stars means it’s time to deal with my block.
Hiring Hadley seems like the obvious solution.
She wants inside my head (not happening). I want to bang her again (she says she can’t sleep with clients).
Between my baggage and her professionalism, can my problem even be fixed?
Or will we both end up just wanting more?

More is the perfect conclusion to the Ryder brothers series! Its fun, steamy and sexy. Jonas knows how to work his way into a girls heart! I loved the way JD wrote this book, from the strong plot and storyline to the character development. I instantly connected with Jonas and Hadley. They were so different yet fit just right together! Loved the transformation in both of them throughout the book. I would have loved more interaction with Jonas and his brothers, but overall one of my favorite books by JD!
I wonder how Laurelin, Kayti and JD decided which brother to take.
I imagine Laurelin said “I’ll take the one with the cougar. Grrrrrrrrr.” Kayti said, “I’ll take the sweet friends to lovers. Purrrrrrr.” Hawkins said, “I’ll take the inventor of pirate themed cocktails. Aye aye me hearties and a bottle of rum.”
Jonas is said pirate booty maker and pirate bounty do-er. The oldest Ryder brother doesn’t play with his little brothers anymore but plays very nicely with Hadley. Hadley is the life coach we first met in Laurelin’s book Close.
More starts with a lusty bang. It then moves through a story about dealing with inner demons and ends on a round of applause.
JD writes with humour and with heart. I always get a feeling that he really likes his characters and it makes them real, well rounded and sometimes a little bit vulnerable.
More is a perfect ending to the Ryder brothers’ stories. Job well done to all three writers.
More is by far my favorite book in the Ryder Brother’s series. It’s Jonas turn to find love while dealing with his issues.
Jonas is the elusive, eldest Ryder brother. Unlike his two younger brothers, he gave up his career in the music industry because his past experience. He’s taken a stance against commitment and obligations. It was his past commitments and obligations that made him turn against music. Jonas had been coasting along with no commitment until his best friend recruits him to perform with his the old boy band (including his brothers) for a good cause. The only problem is that he’s dug himself into a whole and just can’t find a way out.
Hadley is a life coach. She’s committed to helping people overcome things that are holding them back. After a one time fling with ex-boybander Jonas Ryder turns into a second time fling. Jonas confides to Hadley that he needs her help as a life coach. Hadley’s ready for the challenge but is Jonas’s baggage too much?
More is sexy-sweet! I love Hadley’s determination and drive. She takes a stance on more. 5 Stars
Hadley and Jonas fall into each other at the wedding of her friend, Natalia and his brother, Nick. Jonas and his brothers Nick and Jake were once the hottest boy band and broke up three years ago to do their own things. Jonas hasn’t been able to play or sing since. He and Hadley have a few secret hookups and then he discovers she’s a life coach and requests her help to get him back on stage to perform with his brothers again for a friend’s benefit concert. But the chemistry and fire between the two of them nearly makes their hookup/working relationship combust when Jonas can be honest with himself. The heat between these two is palpable and this is by far the best work from J.D. Hawkins. You get a rock star romance, secret lovers, strong & confident woman, heat hot enough to set your kindle on fire, and a HEA!
Loved Ryder and Hadley’s story!! It was intense and emotional but rife with sexual tension and the chemistry between them was off the charts!! Beautiful story!
Definitely my favorite brother of the three and that’s saying something since I loved them all! Guess they had to save the best for last! I’d definitely read this series if you haven’t started them yet. Wonderfully written and the pages just flew by. Would recommend.
The third book in this series, J.D. Hawkins literally and figuratively closes it out with a bang! I always look forward to reading anything by Mr. Hawkins because as much as he can exquisitely write a male’s perspective, reading his female perspective is quite delectable! “More” displays this talent perfectly. I found this couple to be such a perfect match. Hadley is the girl that you want as your best friend. She’s talented, fun, caring and can tell it like it is. Although she isn’t perfect, she keeps it together with a reality that is spot on. And for Jonas, these things are what draw him in, keep him intrigued. While both have issues, they both inevitably bring out the best in one another. They help one another conquer struggles that long plagued them. Their story is heartfelt, flirty, fun, and SO sexy!
I enjoyed this book, immensely. J.D. Hawkins lends his unique style of writing to this series, and makes it all the more special. He brought it home and added the cherry on top. What a great read!
OMG JD! This was my favorite Ryder brother book!
Jonas was so alpha and so swoony. I loved how Hadley kept him on his toes. And the pirate’s booty or bounty or was it booty?!? These two had sparks from the get go.
Jonas stepped away from the stage for a reason that we finally get to find out. After making a promise to reunite with his brothers, he needs help and when he finds out Hadley is a life coach…perfect reason to spend time together. Little did he know he would end up committed!
Great end to this series!
So I completely loved this book. JD Hawkins hit a home run with this one! What starts out as a quickie at a wedding turns into a life changing experience. What started as just sex turned into so much more. I loved their chemistry, both in and out of bed (and wall lol). Hadley is filled with compassion and patience and a sexiness that just keeps his eye. And Jonas is a bundle of complicated emotions, past pain and fear, and just sex on a stick!! I can’t tell you what happens, you gotta find out on your own
Can a one-off with a rock star at the hottest wedding in L.A. turn into more?
Not if you’re one and done Jonas Ryder -rebel, sex god, retired from the music industry, by choice, not from lack of fans or talent.
Jonas’ attendance at his brother’s wedding was a given, what wasn’t was meeting the smoking hot brunette from the wedding party.
Hadley is the responsible, nurturing, loyal friend. That’s why it was so out of character for her to hook up at a wedding, any wedding, especially her best friend’s and with Jonas Ryder, no less. Wow, how did that escalate? – is what she’s asking herself weeks later. No regrets though. Hadley knew what she was getting into and life goes on, even as both parties replay that night over and over….
When an opportunity arises for the Ryder Brothers to play together again, Jonas is unsure. For so long music was his life. His everything. He’s at a crossroads in his music career. When ‘Life Coach’ is brought up to him by his sister in law and how that might be beneficial to him, maybe it’s worth trying. And wouldn’t you know it, Hadley just happens to be one.
Jonas is what Hadley’s wild side has been craving.
Hadley is Jonas’ calming balm, his slayer to his demons.
What happens when temptations lead to feelings and feelings lead to confusion?
WOW! I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN ! FROM PAGE ONE, NON STOP ACTION AND WHEN I SAY ACTION, I MEAN HOLY H*!! – SMOKING HOT. RAW. INTENSE. ACTION ! ! !
ORIGINAL, CAPTIVATING STORYLINE WITH AWESOME CHARACTERS THAT CAME TO LIFE ON THE PAGE ! AMAZING CONCLUSION TO THE SERIES ! ! !
MORE is the third installment of the Ryder Brothers Trilogy. Honestly I think Jonas is my favourite brother and I loved them all!! JD Hawkins has a special way of bringing all his characters to life. Jonas Ryder is the oldest brother and he is fed up with the way his life was always being controlled since he was a young lad. After fulfilling his contract he makes a clean break from the music industry and leaves his band and the music he loves. Bitter about how life has been treating him, he turns to alcohol and one night stands. Then at his brothers wedding he meets the maid of honor Hadley and they instantly hit it off, but he’s not into commitment. Hadley is a life coach and she offers to help him get his life back together. Jonas had agreed to play in a charity concert reunion with his brothers but he has to over come his inability to perform. Can Hadley help him get his groove back? Can he get over his commitment issues? JD Hawkins really did an amazing job with this book!! The chemistry is sizzling, the characters are so realistic and the sex is off the charts!! All the feels!! Loved it!!!!!
JD Hawkins does it again with the third installment of this series of the Ryder Brothers. Loved Jonas and Hadley’s story! There are all the feels, broken, sexy and an amazing story that comes together and brings the series together in the end. This series is worth the read!
Jonas Ryder is a hot, retired music mega star with no interest in any kind of long-term relationship, be it with a record label or a woman. If he likes someone, he turns on the charm, does the deed and abandons the crime scene before the sheets or whichever surface has been used, is cold.
Hadley Stark is a good girl who follows one impulse at the wedding of her best friend and has what should be a one night stand with Jonas, but needless to say, these two are meant to be and do so much more…
When Jonas is invited to perform at a fundraiser, he will have little time to confront his issues, will hire life coach Hadley to help him and then things will become complicated.
This is a good formula. A bad boy with a lot of baggage holding him back and in absolute denial of his real issues meets a therapist that makes him open up in ways he never expects.
As usual the author delivers a good and solid story of conflicted characters who have to dig deep in order to find their HEA. Hawkins’ writing is entertaining and fast paced, making the reading completely enjoyable even when it’s about frustrations and fears. I highly recommend More whether or not you’ve read the other books in the series.
Jonas and Hadley are so perfect for each other! Jonas is the typical playboy. He’s a semi retired rock star that has gotten jaded by the music industry. His newest passion is women and booze. Hadley just happens to fall on his radar and she wants to come out of her comfort zone. Who better than Jonas to do that with? Hadley is a life coach who is bored with her client list. None of them pose a challenge. When Jonas hires her to help him get over his block with music, she sees him as the perfect way to challenge herself.
The feelings in this book go deep. Jonas has issues that aren’t only with how the music industry treated him and his brothers. Hadley has to dig for him to even think about what she has to offer. Hadley also has some issues that she doesn’t even realize are there. The journey of self discovery through out the book is what kept me turning pages. Couldn’t wait to see how Hadley would get Jonas to open up. Well done Mr. Hawkins!
More (Ryder Brothers #3) is the first book I’ve read by JD Hawkins and damn, I was hooked immediately. I wanted more of More!! Jonas is a hot and sexy rock star who stepped out of the limelight years ago due to pressures from the music industry. He’s closed himself off to the world and is in need of a life coach to get over issues that are holding him hostage. In comes Hadley the smart, sweet and determined life coach. Her character is amazing, a breathe of fresh air and the perfect person to help him.
Jonas and Hadley are fantastic together, their story is engaging and their chemistry is explosive!!! I’ve read the other two books in this series which are also great (I recommend reading them) and I have to say that Jonas is definitely my favorite Ryder brother. I loved this fun, flirty and sexy read!
I found JD Hawkins wrote a great book with Jonas and Hadley’s story. Jonas is the star musician who thinks he knows how to control everything and Hadley is a sweet life coach who is truly trying to help. Their paths cross initially in an incredibly steamy way and then the story progresses from there. I always love the change in characters when they think they have it all figured out and then smack — they realize they don’t
This read goes quick and honestly would be a great beach read.
I didn’t realize this was part 3 of a series I didn’t read. The great way JD told the story. I didn’t feel lost at all. So for that thank you!
Woah, this one started with Hadley and Jonas enjoying Jonas’s brothers wedding reception. Holy fan yourself, lol! Hella way to start a story.
I loved the fact that Hadley is Jonas’s Life Coach. It was such a unique storyline and a breath of fresh air! Written in true JD fashion, it was a fun ride. Jonas isn’t your typical JD character, and that was different, but the story flowed and had me crushing on Jonas a bit! It was good enough for me to 1-click the first 2 books. I’m excited to start them!
J.D. Hawkins grabs my attention right from the start with a passionate page-turning scene. I hate to admit that my expectations were high for Jonas. Hawkins collaborated with two of my favorite authors in the Ryder Brothers series, he blew me away with Jonas Ryder’s story. If you have read the first two books CLOSE by Laurelin Paige and Want by Kayti McGee you were teased with these characters Jonas and Hadley.
Jonas is the oldest brother of the three Ryder brothers, he took on a lot of responsibilities at a young age. He protected his brothers on and off of the stage. Performing was their life, but what was behind the scenes of living the life of these rockstars was left in the hands of someone who should be enjoying that life himself. Jonas is such a dominant alpha male with control issues, which is totally understandable. I was able to feel the burdens and struggles Jonas carried, that’s what makes this story so good and that is due to Hawkin’s writing style.
Hadley is a life coach and feels the need for a new challenge in her own life. When Jonas Ryder asks for her help, her lines become blurred between personal and professional. Their chemistry is steamy from the start. Hadley’s coaching techniques with Jonas kept me entertained and with a smile on my face, those were also some of the heart touching moments in the story.
I love this rockstar romance, it gave me all the feels that I have been missing lately. Jonas was so mysterious from the first book, his story of missing the connection he had with his brothers, finding the love he once had for music, giving up control, letting go of the past, and feeling deserving of MORE when it comes to Hadley. It’s so hard not to want to keep on writing about this story. I’m telling myself as I write this review to breathe, stop smiling, and not to give too much away.
A Perfect 5 Star Ending to The Ryder Brothers Series!
4.5 Forbidden, Steamy Stars!
I have loved this irresistible series written by these three amazing authors! The Ryder Brothers are so charming, sexy and swoon-worthy, and they definitely saved the best for last with Jonas. He is the oldest brother who has been a mystery since he left the band to live out of the public eye, with no explanation. He lives his life indulging in fun, one-night stands and avoiding commitment of any kind. When he sees Hadley for the first time, he is drawn to her magnetism. They have a brief, passionate encounter that leaves an impression not to be forgotten. Hadley loves to help people, it has been her calling. But she is craving something more challenging in her life. When Jonas needs her help, they embark on an emotional, passionate journey that is way more than either expected. I loved Jonas and Hadley so much, including all their flaws. They are perfect together, I loved their banter and the way they challenged each other, and their chemistry leaps right off the page. The ending had my heart racing and me cheering. I also enjoyed the epilogue, it was so sweet and totally them. I loved this beautiful, raw, emotional, and sexy journey and am not ready to say good bye to them!
The final Ryder Brother is here! This one features Jonas, the oldest of the three. The most man-whorish of them as well. Jonas has commitment issues, and not just when it comes to relationships. He refuses to allow himself to be committed to anything after having a horrible time during his rock star tenure. Being raised in the industry left a bad taste in his mouth, which affected him in all ways of his life. But will finding the right girl help break him of his ‘must control every aspect of his life’ routine? Or will he ruin the one thing working in his favor with his stubborn ways? This book is fun and allows both the Hero and Heroine to open their eyes and discover things about themselves that they may never have learned had it not been for the other. I really liked how tough and brooding Jonas acted and how, like a typical male, doesn’t show his emotions, he does allow us to see his vulnerability. The Heroine is strong and smart and doesn’t let Jonas push her, aside from in the bedroom. 😉 There are some laughs, some sexiness, some somber moments. No real major bawling scenes. While this book is part of the 3 book series, each can be read as a stand alone (and each is written by a different author.) Each features a different brother, but you will see all three brothers in all three books (and some of the side characters as well.) Don’t tell the other authors, but this one was my favorite. I really enjoyed the story-line and the Hero’s problems. Don’t get me wrong, each book was good. This one just had something about it that pulled me in more than the others. It reads easy and smoothly. Alternating between POVs. There is sexual content, so I was recommend it for mature readers.
*I received an ARC of this book.
