I’m a man that wants for nothing in life.My wife and children’s happiness, my success riding bulls, and all of our health are my top priorities. But with the season ending, and Christmas being near, there is one thing I want this year. And it’s the one thing that I don’t know I’ll be able to have. Will Allie agree to my wish?
A sweet story about a rodeo family and the struggles that entails, time away from his wife and daughters leaves Chase desperate to provide for his family and not wanting to leave his first love being a bull rider.
Both Chase and Allie marriage is starting to struggle with the amount of time Chase is away from Allie and his two very young daughters. Can their marriage hold it together for all the emotions that leave them both vulnerable. A great storyline that leads into the beginnings of a great series.
A prequel novella to Hold on Tight, but can be read as a standalone if you are looking for a fast read.
Chase is home for not only for the holidays, but he just completed the rodeo circuit. He didn’t finish where he was hoping, putting a damper on his mood and the plans he had to move forward in having more children.
That was the deal…place 1st and have another baby.
To say he’s bummed is correct.
Allie already has her hands full raising their two daughters and she misses her husband when he’s gone. She loves the holidays more than any time of year, even if it brings up the memories of losing her parents. The thought of having another child hasn’t even crossed her mind. Is she really ready? Chase is gone so much. Can they just focus on the holidays.
This novella is sweet, all about family, and will give you a taste of Chase and Allie’s story.
This is a short, sweet read with good character development and a lovely introduction to Chase and Allie. It’s an entertaining tale and, even though brief, it is very enjoyable. Looking forward to “Hold on Tight,” Chase and Allie’s full story.
This is a story revolving around the holiday season but you can enjoy it any time of year just as I am. Allie and Chase have a marriage that you can relate to, they have their ups and downs and the work together to keep their connection strong. A quick read but so sweet and heartwarming the whole way through. Seeing the kind of man Chase is had me tearing up at times because to see a man so devoted to his family and his children is just beautiful. I can’t wait to read more of their story.
This was a short and very sweet holiday short. I liked the chemistry between Chase and Allie, and loved their two little girls, Ava and Aubrey. More Than Winning held a good balance of heavy issues, family time, and sexy moments.
This novella looks to be a great prequel to a longer book about Chase and Allie. Home from the holidays after a disappointing bull riding season, Chase is reconnecting with his family and asks Ally, who keeps the home fires burning while he chases his dream, for the ultimate gift. This holiday story has lots of heart and centers around family and the demands of the rodeo life, both on the road and at home. I can’t wait to see where this author goes with this couple, and hopefully more hot cowboys.
