After a near-fatal accident stripped Blade of his confidence, he didn’t hold out much hope … for anything.Until Jenn—gorgeous, sweet, and kind—dropped into his life.Where he sees destruction, she sees perfection.Where he sees broken, she sees courage.Where he sees ruin, she sees … courage.
Where he sees ruin, she sees strength.

I really loved this look into Blade. I love how Jenn and him interact together and how he takes care of her throughout the book. I could feel his struggle when it came to dealing with his speech and I could just feel the emotion woven into the characters. All in all a really great book and a fabulous read. Definitely a must read!
I am absolutely loving this series. In addition to this being a great sexy read, there is a lesson in this story as well. It teaches us that no matter how broken we are, whether physically or emotionally, we are worthy of love and worthy of loving others. I’ve read MariaLisa deMora for several years and I know what awesomeness she is capable of producing. With every new book, she raises that bar even higher with her ability to create imperfect characters that find perfection in the love of another person. I’m very excited to see where else she will take me with her next book!
OMG, love me some Blade! Blade is a good man, with a terrible sense of his own worth when he meets Jenn under tense circumstances. Jenn is a strong, independent woman who is happily scraping by when a chance encounter with Blade changes everything for her. I really loved the vulnerability Blade’s character shows as he struggles with the aftermath of a horrific accident. I totally sympathized with his plight, and him finding happiness with Jenn was so satisfying. Another masterfully written story from MLDM. Loved the hint of the next BFMC at the end and I can’t wait for the next one!
Another wonderful addition to the Borderline Freaks MC series. Blade and Jenn’s story is sweet, emotional and just has such a realistic feel to it. After Blade has a deadly motorcycle accident he struggles with daily life with things like speaking and thinking. Not only that he struggles within himself feeling less and so flawed. Meeting Jenn was the best thing for him. She fills something in his life he never had, accepted him the way he is and leaves him with a sense of peace. She shows him that he is more, definitely more than enough. Can’t wait for more.
I’m generally a pretty articulate person….I mean, my spelling blows but I can usually get my point across with no problem. I’m chatty like that.
Welp…not anymore!
I’ve seriously lost my ability to find new and better ways to adequately say just how friggin amazing MariaLisa deMora and …… well basically every single word that comes out of her brain is.
‘More Than Enough’. Oh My Stars!
Blade / Nate … my heart has still not recovered. Four pages in and the tears were free flowing and that was before I found out what a heartbreakingly, swoony, dreamboat he actually was!
Jenn … strong, smart, brave, and every single thing that Nathanael Murphy needs, wrapped up in so much pretty.
Noone is ever so damaged that they don’t deserve friendship, loyalty, Brotherhood, purpose, or love.
MariaLisa deMora has a way of slapping us upside the head with that knowledge, time and time again…and she makes sure we never forget each and every member of her family that she allows us to make part of ours.
I will forever be looking for new ways to say Thank you to ML…even if I just say the same thing over and over and over…….
A Hundred Stars….Still wouldn’t be enough stars…NEVER enough stars!
This new series is so emotionally beautiful, I didn’t want the story to end! The series is so much more than an MC. It’s about Alpha men with big hearts and insecurities, and yes even disabilities that make them even better men.
Blade, aka Nate, and Jenn’s story gave me wicked evil, feelie good, goose bumps! Hell I wanted to hug Blade! Absolutely amazing new series and I can’t wait to read the next one!!!
Another outstanding addition to BFMC by MN deMora! Once again written so well, I felt right there! Cant wait for the next book!
Love this series
Intense emotional broken heart stopping love story of Jenn and Nate aka Blade
Grabbed my heart and squeezed
So ready for more
A sweet and gentle love story!
Nate and Jenn are a match made in a real world of struggle. Blade, Nate Murphy, after returning from 3 tours “in the sandbox”, was hit by a drunk driver and lost part of himself. He struggles with speech, numbers, reading, and feels less. Jenn is a waitress at a restaurant stop planned out by the Road Captain, Monk, from Service and Sacrifice. Blade rescues Jenn from the Borderline Freaks’ own prospects and finds this beautiful woman fills voids in his life he didn’t realize he had. When Jenn experiences strange shenanigans, Blade has to find a way to keep her safe.
This is a sweet story of finding one’s way to being “more than enough” with who you are. Being accepted with all the struggles and worries is a theme through this series so far. I do wonder about Jennifer Campbell. Her background was not fleshed out in this story. She gazes into the distance and imagines waves to calm her breathing and control the pain in her swollen feet. I immediately thought she had training for this “trick”. Where and why did she need it? I just felt there was more to her story. This, however, is no reason to not enjoy this sweet love story.
Blade has had a rough road. After. TBI things that were once easy for him are no longer easy. A drunk driver forever changed his life and how he looks at himself. Jenn’s life could be called ordinary until a couple of prospects corner her and another man from the group they came with steps in to help her. These twin drawn together by circumstances neither of them liked are now drawn to one another. Blade feels more than just the need to protect this beautiful woman.
This is a really sweet, quick read that pulls at the heartstrings. MariaLisa draws you into the story and makes the reader feel the emotions of her characters. I highly recommend this story. It can be interchanged with the first book in this series as they have intersecting timelines. I can’t wait for the next book in the Borderline Freaks MC!
Blade loves being a part of The Bordeeline Freaks MC and after having been hit by the drunk driver he is still recovering what his body is allowing to be fixed when he meet Jenn at a diner they stop at on a run, when a couple of prospects threaten her well he steps up and that changes both their lives and their story touched my heart.
Blade is his own worst critic. After struggling to come back to some semblance of his former self he’s slowly seeing progress. Those bad days still happen. His mouth can’t keep up with his brain, he still sneaks into sweep position on rides so he doesn’t put his brother in harms way. He still thinks he doesn’t have enough to give, or is worth it, but it doesn’t always stop him.
Jenn is adorable. The super sweet waitress at a small town diner finds herself in the cross hairs of some unwanted attention and although she thinks she could have handled it… she didn’t have to because Blade.
Crisis averted, Blade and Jenn suddenly find themselves with the opportunity to get to know one another, which puts Blade on a path of realizing he might just have what Jenn needs; even if he still has struggle days. While the two start something, someone else has decided to start something too. Only they’ve chosen the wrong person to mess with.
I loved these two. Especially after Jenn helped Blade see that what he considers lacking she doesn’t see at all. They give a compliment that the other needs and deserves.
This is book two of the Borderline Freaks series and the second book I’ve read from this author and I really enjoy them!
There’s no time wasted getting into the stories and issues of the characters which I appreciate. They are quick reading, there’s a fair level of steam, but they come across more like sweet romance than a gritty MC story – which I really, really like.
Blade and Jenn are an odd pair – a former military man and a waitress put together by chance but drawn to one another. He’s struggling with comparing who he is to who he used to be and finding himself lacking. She’s not having any of it though – she knows he is who she wants.
Love this series!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Our author has written another Acknowledgement that is worthy of your time.
Nathanael “Blade” Murphy just wants to feel normal. Sad part is he is keeping secrets but that also shows how the men in an MC try to keep personal and business separate – and men don’t show weakness. Jennifer “Jenn” Campbell gets her first taste of the good and bad about an MC.
Their interactions seem so natural and the progression of their relationship doesn’t seem rushed. And that includes any apprehension. The author also has the time to include a little suspense. This book certainly doesn’t read like a story that you can finish in just a couple of hours. We get a packed story with nothing that will drag down any scene. It flows nicely from beginning to end. The only thing about the ending is that there’s no hint about the next book coming out unless you keep reading past it – and I couldn’t resist and just had to.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
The second book in the Borderline Freaks MC was definitely more than enough when it came to passion, inspiration and finding happiness. Blade is a man who is broken and doesn’t feel like he is enough. Jenn is the woman that brings out the alpha protective nature in him, giving him purchase and reason. Their story is an emotional journey with steamy moments and finally acceptance that in the eyes of the ones that love you, you are more than enough.
Title: More Than Enough
Author: MariaLisa deMora
Genre: Contemporary MC Romance
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
After reading book 1 I am glad to see Blade find love and feel accepted within himself, his club, and in love. That being said I was not as impressed with this book as I was with book 1. These men are military veterans who are wounded, not necessarily while in the military. Blade is struggling to prove to himself he is still worthy of being called a man because he is “less” than he was before his accident. The problem was it lacked the connection the reader has with the characters that was present in book one.
The book flows easily and the story moves quickly but at the end you just don’t feel invested. Which is disappointing because I love Blade. But it was a sexy read so that was a plus. 3.5/5 Stars
More than Enough is book 2 in the Borderline Freaks. After nearly being killed in an accident Blade doesn’t believe he’s worth the trouble. Jenn is a waitress in a small town. After a meeting that left Blade saving Jenn he decides that he needs to hang around to make sure she’s ok. This is a sweet love story that will leave your heart full and wanting more.
