In this book we meet Morgan and Myles. Morgan has just lost both of her parents at the age of 18 due to where her birthday falls she is in her senior year of high school. Myles is the school soccer coach and is now also the person that Morgan is leaning on. He knows he shouldn’t be looking at her in any other way than fatherly but he just can’t help but believe this woman is meant to be his for life. Morgan hopes that Myles sees her as more than his best friends daughter but as the woman he is meant to be with. Will these two get over their hang ups for the HEA they are looking for or will it be lost to them forever?
This is another amazing story but this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Wow over the top of instant everything, if you like an older man claiming his much younger woman then this is the story for you. Far fetched ending with a HEA for all.

Flora did it yet again. Morgan just lost her parents at 18 and is a senior in H.S. Her dad’ best friend. Myles is her protector. He is also in love with her. Little does he know she wants him just as bad. He is her protector, lover, now husband & father to her children. Both of them couldn’t be happier.

This was another fantastic older man/younger woman romance it was a good well-written story that I read in one sitting just did not want to put it down. This was another great read from Flora and I would recommend it.
Head Coach Myles Mason watches Morgan Malone, his best friend’s daughter, as she plays soccer on the field. Just under 3 months ago, her parents were killed by a drunk driver on her eighteenth birthday, right after she had been accepted into college. Now he started thinking about her as a young woman instead of his buddy’s kid, and he had no idea why. But she was forced to grow up this past summer, so maybe that’s it. Making her his is what he wants and needs now. She just needs to get the courage to tell her how he feels. Being her coach and her dad’s best friend just isn’t enough anymore.
Morgan thought about him too. She had a crush on him from a couple years ago. He was so much more to her now, always there for her, always encouraging. When she scored a goal, she wanted to run over and throw her arms around him – but she didn’t think he felt that way about her. Why can’t she just tell him how she feels? Probably because if she’s wrong, it could ruin everything between them and make things awkward. She goes to a coffee shop where Myles is staking it out. Instead of walking over to him, she meets the Captain of the football team. Myles works himself into a frenzy, not even knowing Casey is just Morgan’s partner in a project for class. But as Myles suspected, Casey is making a suggestive offer to Morgan, pushing her even though she only finds him annoying. So Myles steps up and removes Casey’s hand from Morgan’s, squeezing it tightly, and marches Casey out the door with a shove. The entire coffee shop patrons laugh and clap their hands since no one liked the football bully. One boy even thanked him since Casey had been bothering his sister too. Then he drove her to his house.
He saw pain in her eyes for some reason, but she was hesitant to talk to him about it. Then she said it was something he said at the coffee shop – he told Casey she was HIS woman. She needed to know if that was true. When he started to deny it, he saw her shoulders deflate as she turned away. So he told her the truth. Was this their moment to be honest with each other? Would they take it further? And what would be the repercussions they would both be facing over this if they decide to be a couple?
The story is interesting as the reader is shown both points of view while the characters think about what they want and if it’s even possible. I didn’t like the stalker-ish part of Myles using social media to track where she would be, justifying his actions as trying to be a father figure and monitor who she is seeing. That’s a bit creepy. But it was the catalyst to get them to talk honestly. Grab your copy and see how they decide.
Losing her mom and dad meant she lost everything important to her up to now.
Suddenly, the man who was best friend to her beloved dad wants to be her everything and wants her as his everything.
Is it worth the risk? Or is this just another series of losses?
Intense KU romance

This is a wonderful older man/younger woman romance. A quick to read and fast-paced novella. I really enjoyed this story, my heart broke for both Morgan and her father’s best friend, Myles. They both had a terrible tragedy when Morgan’s parents died, luckily they had each other. Their relationship grew fast and deeply. Wonderful story!
