Joe Carpenter’s parents have pressured him his entire life. He’s always needed to do more and do it better, but as hard as he tries, he can’t seem to keep his head above water. When a friend makes an offhand comment about finding a Daddy, Joe initially scoffs at the idea—until he doesn’t. Through mutual friends, he meets not one, but two gorgeous men who are looking for somebody just like Joe. …
Charles Thurston knew when he called Eugene for a favor, the younger man would come running back into his life. Thurston loves Eugene and wants more than anything to repair the damage to their relationship, but no matter how much time has passed between then, Eugene still isn’t everything Thurston needs.
Eugene lost Thurston once, and he will not do it again. The pressure to be everything Thurston needs is more than he can handle. Unwilling to accept Thurston’s attentive level of attention and discipline, Eugene comes up with a simple solution—find a third.
Joe is the kind of man who can give Thurston what he needs and Thurston used to be the only man Eugene wanted. But once they’re together, the three of them discover a shared life is a life they want more than anything.

Half as Much was book one in this series, and it was a tough act to follow. The author managed though. Thurston, Eugene, and Joe basically had me at hello! I enjoy reading about relationships of three (or more) people, where the dynamic can get tricky. That dynamic was handled beautifully here. Each of the men was a fully formed character, and the D/s connection that Thurston (Daddy) had with each of his subs was explained very well. Eugene (the brat) and Joe (the baby) also had a lovely connection.
There were several excellent steamy scenes, but the majority of the book focused on bringing Joe into the relationship that Thurston and Eugene already shared. I was fascinated! I loved all the characters, and I enjoyed watching them each grow and learn from each other throughout the story. I also liked the secondary characters, especially the ones who first showed up in book one. This is a great series, and I can’t wait for the next installment. I’m loving it!
This is my all time favorite book my Denning!! I’ve never read a threesome that worked so well. Thurston, Joe, and Eugene were so perfect together. They balanced each other so well, especially when you threw in the daddy kink. I loved how Thurston and Eugene both looked out for Joe, and called him “the baby”.
I was giddy the entire time I was reading. I finished this story with a huge smile on my face. I never wanted it to end.
This latest by Denning is proof that her writing is fantastic. This second in the Upstate Education series introduces us to an interesting take on the throuple dynamic. I enjoyed every bit of this book and found it to be engaging and pushing boundaries. Well worth the read.
Eugene, Thurston and Joe are three well written characters whose story truly flows. I laughed, cried, and laughed some more, as it all unfolded. The emotions they share, made them truly come to life. Highly recommend this!
What do you get when you have a semi grumpy Daddy, a bratty boy and a baby boy? Pure perfection! EM Denning first introduced us to Daddy Thurston and boy Eugene in book one of the series. Joe also made an appearance separately in the first book. Book two fulfills our dreams of a perfect Daddy (at least in my case – can I have one please?) who finally comes to believe that he can have what he needs in his bratty and baby boys. The boys each grow in their own ways. Such a wonderful story!
More Than Anything is book two of EM Denning’s Upstate Education series. It is a kinky but swoony read. Joe, Eugene and Thurston are beautiful together. They give each other everything they can and are everything the others need and want. Their story entertains and makes you want more.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
