I purchased a copy of the clean novel Fake Marriage to Her T.V. Husband (Uptown Brides: a Sweet Romance Series Book 2): Lilith and Dane by Kat Cantrell and this review was given freely.
Easy flowing and complex with a happy ending. When Lilith’s vindictive and jealous half sister Rohina Kaplan sabotages Relacher’s Spa, owner Lilith Parker agrees to participate on the Bride at First Sight reality TV show to improve good publicity only to discover that the man she falls for is a surgically transformed high school classmate, cybersecurity agent Eugene “Dane McClarren” Danehart Long, also out for revenge.

Whose plan will succeed?
Fake Marriage to Her TV Husband by Kacy Cross is another short but such an entertaining book. Seeing how much these two characters are willing to do their plans for this television show to happen. To only realize that maybe one idea isn’t as good as one of them thought it was since it happened.
Lilith
Lilith is the female lead and is trying to save the business that her annoying halfsister is trying to ruin. Of course, it doesn’t help that maybe Lilith has some unresolved daddy issues, but that is for another story. I love how Lilith is when it comes to her business. She has worked so hard for this past year. Lilith is a great businesswoman.
However, it takes tons of courage to join a television show like this. The whole time that Lilith was doing the show filming the episodes, she also wasn’t trying to fall in love. The one thing that I dislike about her is that maybe she shouldn’t have let so many issues about her dad override her mind about guys. Perhaps she should listen to their explanations.
Dane
Dane is the male lead and is going for revenge against Lilith. He used to be her Algebra tutor back in high school and was going to ask her to dance. Well, that backfired on him, but you will have to read about that in the story. Instead of going to talk to Lilith back then he harbored terrible feelings for her that resulted in his transformation.
The thing that I like about Dane is that despite not wanting to, he loves the new Lilith. Another thing that I like about him is that he let a bit of himself come out in terms of his job and his video game habit. The one thing that I dislike about him is that he waited so long to tell Lilith the truth once he realized that she wasn’t the same as she was back when they were teenagers.
