MORE THAN A FEELING is a second chance, small town, rock star romance bursting with off-the-charts-chemistry and heat. “Absolutely loved it! I finished this book last night, but I’m still smiling this morning. It’s that good!”When Cooper Hood left Snowberry, Montana ten years ago, he swore he’d never go back to the town that painted him with the same brush as his addict mother. But right in the … his addict mother. But right in the middle of his band’s national tour he gets a call to come home: his mom’s got a whopper of a secret to reveal.
Daisy Charbonneau never thought she’d see her high school crush again. Especially after his band hit the big time. But when the talent she hired for her resort’s annual Huckleberry Festival bails on her, she’s desperate to find a replacement act–and her rock star crush is just the answer she’s looking for.
As they work together, a crush deepens into so much more, but who falls in love in two weeks? Especially when Cooper’s never coming back to town, and Daisy’s never going to leave it.

Yes, a rockstar second chance romance. It’s one of my favorites and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. This is a no-nonsense kind of romance, one without very much angst or trouble. Although I believe there was enough trouble in Cooper’s past to make up for this real easy-going beautiful romance.
Daisy is a quiet yet feisty woman, that really stands up for herself and other people as well. She’s also not afraid to go head to head with the town’s Mayor especially when it’s a cause she believes in. There are a few things that are revealed when Cooper has to go home to the small town he grew up in, bringing him face to face with Daisy. Making and causing this love story to really begin.
This book was a lovely easy read. One that I recommend and one that was a great addition to this series.

We get a little different twist in this story with Cooper having to go back home. His sizzling chemistry with Daisy had me unable to put it down and the suspense from his childhood and hers had me hooked and on edge.
This is the 4th book in this series and is Cooper and Daisy’s story. Cooper left his small hometown 10-years ago with no intention of ever returning, but while his band is on tour his mom calls him asking him to come home as she has a secret to tell him. Daisy has a crush on Cooper, and never expected to see him again after his band hit the good times, and when she is let down by the band she hired for the town’s annual festival, she is desperate to get a replacement, and Cooper agrees to help her out. Cooper had a crush on Daisy before leaving, and he never thought he was good enough for her, and now working together the feelings develop into more for them both, but Cooper is only in town for 2-weeks, and Daisy will never leave. This is a well written heartfelt story, which is raw, gritty, emotional, and with drama, family, 2nd chances, and love, which lead to a wonderful small town romance story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.
Cooper and Daisy
This is my favorite book in this series. Cooper is the guitarist for Blue Fire and came from a small town being raised by a drug addicted mother. Now back in town as a Grammy winner he sees his high school girlfriend, Daisy. She stayed the hometown girl while Cooper went out to make a name for himself.
Now Cooper is back and he and Daisy seem to have that same spark. This was a great way to end this series and I’ve loved every minute of it.
4.5 stars for this lovely, rewarding, second chance romance, set in small town Snowberry. Even the setting is gorgeous! Cooper, who does not have a bad bone in his body, does not hold the same love and affection for Snowberry as Daisy, the sweet, warm hearted heroine of the book. Her school girl crush on Cooper is about to be revisited and I really can’t think of two people more deserving of an HEA!
Cooper, home to help his mother, whose past behaviour has coloured his past, allows himself two weeks to help Daisy, and gives them that precious time to explore the possibilities blossoming between them. Fabulous!
Really cute and fun story. I loved the characters
I liked this book. It was cute and it delivered on what it promised- a rock star comes back to his hometown to face his past and his high school crush. He’s forced to confront his feelings or sweep them under the rug…should he give up his dream for a woman that speaks to his soul only to be stuck in a town that only looked down upon him? Or can he give her up and live a life of his choosing? Of freedom?
To much sexual content
The story jumped around and dragged along.
Great read! Highly recommend !
We’ll written. I felt a real connection with Cooper and Daisy. Didn’t care for the explicit language but it fit the characters. Didn’t need the explicit sex, either, but it was tasteful. Very sweet, emotional story. Excellent ending. Loved the emphasis on family and community.
It is funny in parts but the writing is a little simplistic. The proof-reading could also have been better, but if that doesn’t bother you it is OK. The editing could have been better as well, too many words. Other than that it is OK.
I went in this story thinking it was all about a relationship with a rock star. When it’s more about a story of the small town misfit coming back home. Even though I was wrong about what the story was about, I wasn’t disappointed. A very good well written story.
