It starts with a bang. As in me and Hadley, the maid of honor, during my brother’s wedding reception.Sure, it was amazing, but I’m a one-and-done kind of guy. After spending years of my life getting screwed over by managers and agents with the Ryder Brothers, I no longer like to commit. I don’t even play music anymore. The secret that I haven’t told anyone- is that I can’t.A chance to raise money … can’t.
A chance to raise money for my best friend’s nonprofit to help child stars means it’s time to deal with my block.
Hiring Hadley seems like the obvious solution.
She wants inside my head (not happening). I want to bang her again (she says she can’t sleep with clients).
Between my baggage and her professionalism, can my problem even be fixed?
Or will we both end up just wanting more?

Loved this book! It was funny, emotional and hot hot hot! Jonas is broody and stubborn just like I like them! Hadley is selfless and totally down for a no strings challenge! 1-Click and see if business can mix with pleasure!
Loved this amazing story of Jonas and Hadley amazing beautiful broken sad and amazing, loved the concept need more
They say that “Less is More”. Not so with Jonas Ryder in this final book in the Ryder Brothers series, that has seen three separate authors pen these rock star former boy band siblings.
JD Hawkins has taken perhaps the most complicated brother in Jonas; whose living in a hedonistic, self-induced exile from the spotlight, and unravelled his dark and broody walls superbly with the help of his vivacious heroine, the life-skilled Hadley.
Hawkins establishes the chemistry with these two early – you don’t get any earlier than the very first page!
But it’s evident there is more than an animal attraction here. There’s a more subtle meeting of minds and of needs, and it’s reciprocal, but neither is yet willing to acknowledge it early on in this tale.
When Jonas engages Hadley in a professional capacity as his Life Coach, the lines between professionalism and magnetism get well and truly blurred, crossed and obliterated in the steamiest of ways.
I loved this take on the effects of fame and the ruthless way the entertainment industry launches and then dulls it’s shining stars. All that glitters is not gold and this story shows the very ugly and damaging side to infamy.
This is the perfect end to this series, and is JD Hawkins at his usual best! 5 shiny stars!
Who doesn’t love a broody, sexy rock star with a seemingly untouchable heart?!?
That’s exactly what you get with Jonas Ryder. He has aloof down to an art form – never get too close to anyone and never let anyone get too close to you. He likes it that way. But once you crack that stone facade, you meet the real Jonas – funny, sweet, and so very sexy. He still prefers to keep himself closed off, but it was really great seeing him evolve throughout the story.
Hadley is great. She’s got this personality that makes you just want to open up to her, which is perfect in her line of work. She’s funny, no-nonsense, and doesn’t let Jonas get by with much. Well, at least she tries not to. He loves to distract her and she’s not immune to his charms.
From page one, I was hooked and you will be too. Chemistry flows from these two and there is no shortage of heat. The push and pull between them is fun to watch and their story definitely pulls out plenty of feels. This was a great conclusion to this three-part series written by three different authors.
I highly recommend all three books!
Jonas Ryder is the oldest of the Ryder brothers. After leaving their band 3 years ago, he can no longer play music. Hadley is a life coach who he meets at his brother’s wedding. They literally hit it off with a bang. Jonas is normally a hit it and quit it guy with no repeats, but something about Hadley draws him in for more. He asks for her help to enjoy music again and finds himself wanting more with her.
I loved Jonas and Hadley. They had a great connection with each other. The brooding bad boy and the shy girl always make a great couple.
With every book by JD Hawkins, I find myself loving his writing more and more, no pun intended. Each of his books has a unique feel to it which makes it special. More lives up to this and is a book I will reread. Jonas and Hadley are a fabulous couple..both filled with elements of self doubt, but from very different perspectives and experience. Jonas’ struggles are more profound, but the storyline is far from heavy. It is told with JD’s characteristic humour and deftness of touch. The chemistry between the two is off the charts, but does not get in the way of a truly good tale, well told. Filled with warmth and wit, this book is an absolute winner!
Found this story very entertaining and heartwarming since Jonas is in need of a life coach to help him through his problems which most of us could potentially understand even though we aren’t celebrities. JD has an uncanny knack of bringing a story to life and engaging the reader. Well done!
More is the 3rd and final installment in the Ryder Brothers series. Jonas is the broody and elusive older brother. Hadley is the self confident life coach that puts everyone first and leaves her happiness by the wayside. Together they are an explosion of hotness. It’s a fun and flirty read.
I haven’t read a good rock star romance since Olivia Cunnings Sinners on Tour and I’m not much a rock star romance fan but this was the exception. JD Hawkins wrote a believable story about a former boy band member who after being traumatized by the demands and control of the music industry shied away from what he loved, the people he loves and the entertainment radar.
Until a one night stand with a sexy, life coach showed up and altered his universe.
“For her I’ll play.”
“For her I’ll do anything.”
“I hit the first chord and banish my demons forever, I hit the first chord and my whole life changes.”
Jonas Ryder, flirty, sexy, swoon-worthy, moody and complex – definitely my favorite Ryder brother!
More is the third book about the Ryder Brothers. It’s fun and flirty with some rather sizzling scenes that will have you hot under the collar.
Brooding Rockstar meet the Selfless Life Coach. Jonas and Hadley are two complete opposites that come together and steam up your pages. Jonas a former child Rockstar like his brothers has issues that he hasn’t shared with them and over the years has distanced himself and made decisions that have left him very much a loner.
Hadley is one of those people who just wants to help others. She has a good heart and a little bit of innocence about her. She draws you in and you can’t help but like her even when she’s being naughty.
For me Hadley stole the show. She has a handle on how to gain control of Jonas and point him in the right direction as well as enjoy the extra benefits on the side until it all goes belly up. To help him she needs to question everything and put into place a plan of attack not only for him but for herself as well.
Third book in the series but it reads as a standalone.
Jonas and Hadley were definitely meant to be since their first time together. They bring out the best and the kinkiest of each other every time they are together.
The book was super hot with sweet scenes in vete that are definitely swoon worthy and will make you fall in love with these two.
Jonas Ryder is my favorite new rocker! JD Hawkins does not disappoint. More is the perfect blend of sexiness, angst and angst
A great ending to the Ryder Brothers series. Took me a bit to warm up to Jonas but by the end I was fully smitten with him. Loved Hadley-she and Jonas fit together.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
I have read Want by Kayti McGee and now More and enjoy the love lives of adult boy banders way more than I feel like I should. I am going to grab Close and complete my Ryder trilogy experience!
It’s curious how people, even family can have a completely wrong notion of who a person is if that person is completely closed off and emotionally stunted from a traumatizing and borderline abusive past. Jonas has his secrets and has a huge wall around himself for self preservation and nobody is getting over until he has to deal with the psychological and physical manifestation of his wall. His love ’em and leave ’em life style has worked for a very long time but it’s not working for him anymore after a night with Hadley, bestie of his brothers new bride. This is where I had to admit to myself that boy bands aren’t all sparkly pop fun times and giggling girl groupies. Hawkins has uncovered some deep damage from the music industry that Jonas doesn’t even recognize is going on. He is a mess, but for three years since getting free of all contract obligations he’s flown under all the radar.
Hadley is a delight with a true nurturing soul. She a good person with a gift for seeing the root of a problem and helping people make better life choices to get what they really want. Jonas is a lot to take, he’s larger than life and twisty. I felt her she struggle with her personal rules as she decides how to help him. It was a bit of genius to have Rowan as her personal sounding board to crawl inside her head and find out just what she’s willing and able to do. I completely enjoyed this story.
Jonas has been struggling with a block towards performing or playing music since the band broke up. He meets Hadley at Nick & Natalia’s wedding…leading to a fling. He’s been mister hit it and quit it for years. No commitments for him. But Hadley stays on his mind. And he on hers. He decides to ask her to help him because his friend wants the Ryder Brothers reunion to be the big draw for her charity. But Hadley finds herself drawn to him in a way that is far from professional. They are fire together. And Mr. No Commitment is experiencing feels even tho he fights it. All the deliciousness we expect from JD. All the feels, passion, and steaminess! Jonas is the tortured rock star that is trying to hide his pain with booze, babes, and partying until he meets the woman who is a shock to his system. Hadley is feeling kind of disconnected from the job she feels is her calling until she meets the man who makes her feel like what she is doing is genuinely changing someone’s life. And they change far more than each other’s professional career. They are each other’s HEA. Loved it!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
What a great way to end the Ryder brother’s series. I loved Hadley and Jonas. JD did another wonderful job on writing us a great book. I would love to see more of all of the characters in the future.
More is the last book in the Ryder brother series. Jonas is a partier. He only commits to one night stands. When he hooks up at a wedding, for some reason he can’t get the girl out of his mind. Hadley is a life coach and even though it is out of character to have a one night stand she can’t resist Jonas.
Spicy, sweet romance. Jonas is a complex character with depth. He isn’t the typical rockstar alpha. Hadley is super sweet. I liked the dynamic between the two. Really enjoyable read with a bit of angst.
love these characters Jonas and Hadley are sizziling together and learn so much more from each other and where their suppose to be in life and the temptation they have could not get any better, Jonas is big time swoon worthy in all they ways. Great writing and character development and I loved it.
What can I say about More by JD Hawkins other than, he gave me more. So much more! This book was a deserved ending to a fantastic three part series. The first two, Close and Want by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee were both brilliant stories and we got to see a little bit about Jonas in them but not enough to reveal just what was coming here.
This guy? He had issues, but, not the usual kind. No drama caused by bad parenting in his past or a devastating breakup with an ex-girlfriend. No, this hurt to his psyche went a lot deeper and was behind a lot of Jonas’s problems. One’s he hid from his brothers and tried to avoid since their band broke up.
But, now a friend needs his help. She wants to host a reunion concert for The Ryder Brothers. She needs him to step back into the limelight he quit three years ago.
Jonas can’t do it alone, thankfully, he has help in the form of Hadley.
Hadley is one of Natalia’s friends whom we met in Close, Nick and Natalia book. It’s at their wedding that Jonas and Hadley hooked up for the first time, before they even knew who the other was. It was only supposed to be a one night stand but they both spent months thinking about that night.
Now, life coach Hadley has the chance to help Jonas overcome his crushing inner demon but she has to defeat her lust for him first. Jonas has a way for them to deal with their out of control feelings.
This was a slightly angsty, emotional story as far as Jonas was concerned. I really felt for the guy and loved how Hadley dealt with his problems.
Loved JD’s contribution to this wonderful three author story arc.
