Kyra escaped from the demands of her parents, neither of which really understood what it was like to be a Moorigad dragon shifter (which is a blending of two dragon species). Kyra is lucky enough to stumble into the Mystic’s Carnival, when her luck seemed at it’s lowest, and she makes friends with Sebastian, but does she want something more with him? She saves what seems to be a human man, and starts a series of bad events. I loved this collection, for I could consume this delightful tale without having to wait, and I loved both Kyra and Sebastian and the world they live in.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.
Kyra runs away from her family after they try to force her to choose. She comes across this Supernatural carnival, where she meets Sébastien. Join them for their story.

This collection consists of three books which tell the tale of Kyra, a Moorigad dragon shifter, born with the fire dragon abilities of her father and the water dragon abilities of her mother. She is called an abomination and told to choose which side of the family she is going to belong to, but ends up running away from a marriage she doesn’t want and a choice she wasn’t ready to make. She enters a convenience store when really hungry, looking to grab some food before her dragon comes out and causes any chaos to the humans around her. But as she runs out the shop with some bags of jerky, she is pursued by a cop, only managing to get away when she falls through a wall, decorated with the image of a carnival. She ends up being met by blond old man Zeke, the gatekeeper of the real life magical carnival she has found herself within. She settles down and starts working as a fire breather for the carnival and makes a good friend in Sebastian, a tarot reader and possible love interest. She is just about to find out what his deepest secrets may be and what he actually is, when she makes a decision that will change everything!
Sebastian has also run away from his family, his father in particular and he is also of mixed abilities from both of his parents and a father that wants him to be trained up in his line of work. Kyra is taken for a day out, back into the mundane world by Sebastian and just as he is about to open up, a man is attacked by some other men and falls from the bridge overhead and into the water. She feels a pull towards him and while Sebastian wants her to do nothing, she jumps in and saves his life. His name is Marcus and his time was supposed to be up. He has the tooth of an ancient dragon ancestor around his neck, but seems to be human to Kyra, so she can’t figure out why she feels the need to help him. But this is going to be a bad decision and one that will break apart the two friends and any chance of a relationship they were about to begin. She asks for a powerful magic to be done to keep Marcus from death and loses her dragon to him, whilst keeping him safe and ending up badly injured herself in her human only state. When she wakes, Marcus is by her bed and she can’t remember anything about herself or her past, not even about her dragon Kalrapura.
Sebastian is forced back into working for his father and doesn’t manage to see Kyra for about a month, to find she is now working, but being closely watched by a friend of Marcus, and has little control over her own life. Sebastian runs into her by accident in a café and it seems she has been remembering something about her past and thinking of him since they last met at the flat, when magic stopped him from getting in. Marcus has been gathering different dragons and holding their essences, ready to take their powers for himself, to make him the strongest dragon of all, and to take back what he believes is his. A former dragon called Davies, has his own little army fighting to keep Marcus and others from the mundane world, working in company with Sebastian’s own father to send Marcus to Purgatory to begin with. Their actions have a lot to answer for and it seems his father isn’t just reaping souls, but is happy to prematurely claim them as well! Something that deeply upsets Sebastian and causes more problems with Davies, as one was his daughter Alice. A massive battle is coming between Kyra’s father and Marcus, but Davies and Sebastian’s father are right in the mix as well. Sebastian and Kyra, as well as her dragon, are key to trying to force a peaceful outcome and the carnies all come together to protect what and who is theirs! Part of the secrets of the carnie are revealed and that of both Higgins and Zeke, in being part of the magic of the carnival. Lots more to discover and some key magic going on, with Sebastian determined to help Kyra get back to her normal self and not become someone else’s pawn. An interesting trilogy which definitely comes into full blown action and excitement in the final book. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
A wonderful action packed Paranormal Fantasy.
The characters of Kyra and Sebastian are really good.
Enjoyed reading…

Carnival of everywhere…
Kyra may be an octogenarian by human standards, but she is young for a dragon. Her hybrid duality as both fire and water dragon leaves her trapped between clans and pulled by both ruling parents to choose one and abandon the other. They would plan her life but she has her own plan to escape and hide among the humans. A fine plan, but with no friends or resources she is caught stealing food and in the resulting chase Kyra falls through a portal that leads to Mystic’s Carnival. Mystic’s sentience caters to the supernatural. It periodically moves and spontaneously rearranges itself. Kyra is not the only one who has found refuge there. The tarot card reader Sebastian is also a hybrid, a Reaper-Mara, trying to avoid the destiny chosen by his father, the Grim Reaper. Kyra and Sebastian could not be more different but there is a pull between them. It leads to a close friendship and a desire to have much more if they can survive power struggles, spells, kidnappings, battles, death, and arranged marriages.
This three-part collection is packed with paranormal action and intrigue. I can definitely see it leading to other books about some of the other characters and I am hungry for more! I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
Kyra is a Moorigad. Half Fire Dragon, half Water Dragon. Sebastian is half Maya, half Reaper. Sparks fly when Kyra and Sebastian meet in Mystic’s Carnival, a sentient being catering to the Supernatural population. Things begin going wrong when Kyra’s Dragon rescues Marcus whose soul Sebastian is supposed to reap. All three stories in this set are full of action with lots of ups and downs. Highly recommended.

Debra has created a compelling alternate contemporary reality for this clean romance trilogy. Her characters each strive for autonomy under steep family expectations, eased by the intervention of the bubble of reality known as the Mystic’s Carnival. As it seems aimed at young adults, that is how the lovers behave emotionally. What we develop internally in order to mature, this hybrid dragon and hybrid demon get to act upon in the outside world, undoing snarls of karma for the four subspecies involved along the way. The journey is intriguing and vivid.
On the minus side, the grammar is really strained and quite often we come across sound-similar words used in the wrong context, which would give a non-native speaker of English a lot of trouble trying to follow the author’s intent. Spellcheck lets those things through, when a professional editor could have caught and clarified them. As an editor I could usually intuit my way through, but not always. Young adults might pick up these malapropisms and think they are acceptable, causing lasting damage to their verbal and written ability. Please clean up. So I took off one star.
Moorigad: Complete Moorigad Dragon Collection by Debra Kristi is a fantastic story that I have loved reading. This is book number four in this fantastic series that I have been hooked on. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romance.

Highly entertaining, action packed and emotionally thrilling adventure filled with witty and dangerous charters, engaging moments, heart racing twists and emotional turns. Was a edge of your seat thrilling journey from beginning to end.
I enjoyed reading this series. Fast paced action, great characters and setting, lots of twists, what more can you want! One of the things that I loved was the parentage combination of both Kyra and Sebastian. There were so many times I wanted to jump ahead to see what happened when the scene shifted! What a page turner!

This was a brilliant set of stories. So addictive you find it hard to stop reading.
Great characters that you can so relate to.
One of the best fantasy series I’ve read.
But then it is by Debra Kristi! In my book- she ALWAYS delivers.
Thoroughly recommend this.
Moorigad: Dragon Collection is the 3 main books of the Age of the Hybrid series. I reviewed each of the books individually. I really enjoyed each of the books, and I loved the covers of them all!
MY REVIEW FOR BOOK 1 IN THE AGE OF THE HYBRID SERIES – THE MOORIGAD DRAGON
I enjoyed the majority of this book, and I loved that the story is unique. In this book, Kyra is a dragon of sorts, but she is a hybrid, so she has trouble fitting in, so she has left home, and ends up being part of a magical carnival. I loved the whole magical carnival premise! It’s lots of fun! And I love that Kyra is a dragonshifter! So cool! I do like Kyra, but she did get on my nerves when she wouldn’t follow her heart or trust her misgivings about people or things. Everyone in this book is too secretive, which of course leads to problems! Sebastian is great! And I really like the mystery around him, and what his story actually ends up being. In this book, the characters have to deal with the issues that arise when you butt into things you should’ve left alone, so be prepared for stupid decisions abound! I was thinking this was a YA story, and for the most part it reads like it is, but then BOOM! things make a turn for the dark side. This is sort of a spoiler, so you have been warned!!!!!!! SPOILER!!!!!!!
There is mind rape and actual rape, although the character being raped doesn’t really get that she is being raped because of the whole mind rape thing, and it really came out of nowhere for me! I actually felt devastated when it happened because it was so shocking and it didn’t fit the tone for the rest of the book.
I’m looking forward to continuing the next story, this book definitely kept me interested till the very end, so I expect the next book will as well.
MY REVIEW FOR BOOK 2 IN THE AGE OF THE HYBRID SERIES – REAP NOT THE DRAGON
** spoiler alert **
*This review will have spoilers for the first book in this series* *Slight spoiler for this book, but the spoiler is something that happens early in the book, so not too much of a spoiler*
I was so pissed off for most of this book, but I didn’t let that effect my rating. I was so pissed off because it takes Sebastian waaaaaayyy too long to help Kyra! Especially in the beginning, a month! Really!?! In the last book, Kyra has been tricked by Marcus, and he has stolen her dragon. Kyra has lost her memory, and doesn’t know this, so she is a shell of herself, and does whatever Marcus says. She also has sexual relations with Marcus, so even though she consents, I still consider it rape because her mind is screwed. There were a few POV’s in this book, but it is mostly from Sebastian’s POV, with Marcus getting the second most POV time. Sebastian found Kyra towards the end of the last book, and he knows some crud is going down, but for some reason he doesn’t tell Kyra, so he just leaves her there! She is under the control of Marcus the douchebag, who is raping her, and he just leaves! I was so pissed! Now, Sebastian is trying to figure out how to save Kyra, but he ends up doing tons of other stuff before getting to it, and a month goes by, and still he hasn’t saved Kyra! So Crazy! This all in the beginning of the book, so it isn’t too much of a spoiler. I get that he has a lot going on, so that’s why I don’t hate Sebastian, but I feel if he cares about Kyra, he should’ve made her more of a priority. So, this book is about Sebastian having to deal with saving Kyra, finding out how to deal with what he is, and having to deal with new enemies. I loved that we get to see more of the Reaper lifestyle, and I enjoyed the introduction of the Maras! I’ve only read 1 other series that had Maras, so I found that a unique subject to read about. We also learn more about Marcus’ plans. This is a very interesting read, and very entertaining. I love all the different entities! Dragons, Maras, Reapers, and all the other interesting characters! I’m looking forward to the next book!
MY REVIEW FOR BOOK 3 IN THE AGE OF THE HYBRID SERIES – PLIGHT OF THE DRAGON
This was a great conclusion to a unique and exciting series! I was entertained through the whole book! I really enjoyed the writing and the world this series takes place in. In this book, Kyra still doesn’t have her memories, but she has escaped from Marcus, so that’s a plus, and she is with Sebastian, and both of them are trying to find a way to return her memories. Also, Kyra’s parents are on the scene, and each of them has their own agenda for Kyra, and also the duo needs to deal with Marcus’ plans. Kyra really grows in this story, and she begins to believe in herself and her strength, and that was definitely nice to see, especially after she was a shell of herself in the last book. Also, there was some really sweet moments with her and Sebastian, but there was also some difficult moments as outside forces cause problems in their relationship. It was great to see more of the dragons, and also more of the Reaper and Mara worlds. Great book and great series!
This is an enjoyable coming of age romance story full of magic, secrets, drama, twists and turns, and budding love. The world-building is good, and the characters are well-developed. I loved the first two books, but I have to say I found the conclusion a little disappointing, with extraneous information, loose threads, and unanswered questions. Still a good read overall, but the author could do a better job with the ending.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
Everything Debra Kristi writes is fantastic. This collection of 3 books in does not disappoint! The two main characters, Kyra and Sebastian are wonderfully written and their growth is seen as you go from book one to three. Kyra runs away from her family to join a mystical carnival. She is a dragon hybrid shifter which in itself is unusual. Sebastian also runs away from his family and their dark ways and also joins the carnival. Once you begin the first book, you are caught and can’t put the books down. Kyra and Sebastian form a tight friendship with perhaps romance on the side as they escape dangers and evil. These books treat us to absolute non-stop adventure, romance and incredible descriptions of a world of fantasy that is fun to read. All three books must be read in order since one book leads you to the next. I really liked this series and following two really good and likeable characters as you see them go through some tough times together. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
Kyra is a Moorigad, a dragon born of a fire and a water dragon. She is seen as an abomination until she runs away and becomes a carnie at Mystic. Here she fits right in and her best friend Sebastian helps. Sebastian is fairly secretive about some things, and without wanting to, she puts him in danger by helping a drowning man. This is the beginning of a fairly epic story, thrilling and full of suspense, with a little fun and entertainment added into the mix.
A good trilogy – well balanced and well-written.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was interesting, unique, complex and different than I thought it would be. It was very well-written and had characters that I liked. The storyline drew me into the story with all the action, mystery, suspense and intrigue.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So Kyra is half water dragon/ half fire dragon and she ran from her demanding parents to live at a magical carnival. There she becomes very close with Sebastian even though he is really secretive about himself. Overall they are loving life and then one day everything changes and it seems like every bad thing that could ever happen just comes flying at them.
This was definitely entertaining and kept you wanting to read just one more chapter. There was just a lot, a lot of characters and a lot of types of creatures at times it was a little hard to keep everything straight. But, Sebastian and Kyra were a great couple that you rooted for from the very beginning.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Each books is creatively written and captivating you get drawn in from the first page a dragon that’s born of two different kinds of dragons Kyra is both a fire and water dragon being forced by her parents to choose between the two has her running away she ends up at the magical circus where she feels safe and has made a new family but things start changing and kyra must make choices sound interesting give this series a try amazing characters and a storyline that draws you in and keeps you there.

YOU CAN’T DECIDE WHO YOU LOVE
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
Kyra is a mixed-breed dragon, fire and water, who has run away from her parents who are trying to force her to marry a mate of their choice from their clan. She stumbles upon the Mystic Carnival and meets Sebastian, a half-breed mix of Mara, fear manipulators, and Reaper.
She meets Marcus and is the cause of someone’s death and is sent to Purgatory where Sebastian frees her. However, Marcus causes her to lose her memory and her dragon. Marcus’s misdeeds lead Sebastian on a deadly trail to free Kyra from Marcus’s grip. In doing so, the unexpected happens.
This story is full of twists, magic, subterfuge, and ultimate sacrifice. There is plenty of action for everyone.
