The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel . . . Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for … where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.
Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman . . . one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

And the de Vincent are back! After the twists and mysteries of the first book, the story of this rich but cursed family continues, and more secrets, suspense and intrigues are presented. The brother who will stand out this time will be Gabriel, or Gabe for the intimates, but as his personal journey develops, the other members of the family also present themselves and participate directly in the plot, showing that all the brothers are connected and that the dangers that surround them are threats to the three indiscriminately.
If in the first book Gabe was the reserved and lonely middle brother, here he shows the story behind of his behavior, how much past actions made him into what he is today. Starting from the end of the previous book, where a phone call completely changes his life, Gabe now has to deal with an until now unknown responsibility, as he tries to deal with the frustration and lack of answers of the reason for such a secret, while at the same time accepting the fate of the woman he has always loved. Or thought he loved. With so many twists lately, the last thing he needs right now is that an old unfinished business from his past should come back to shake his already unstable life even further.
Nicolette or Nikki returns to de Vincent’s house after a long time away and the situation could not be worse. Her mother, who works as a family maid, is ill and Nikki will replace her at work. Dealing with her mother’s illness, with Devlin’s rude way, with the threats and humiliations of Sabrina and the terrifying house are things she can handle perfectly. But facing the man she’s always been passionate about since adolescence is what she really dreads, especially with a fateful night being responsible for drastically changing their friendship.
Gabe always caught Nikki’s attention, and despite the difference in age and the fact that she was the maid’s daughter, both were able to develop a friendship that began after an accident and Gabe saved her life. Since that day, she has become a kind of shadow behind him and the attention he had previously awakened gave way to a teenage passion on her part, until it became a very strong feeling. But Gabe had never seen her like this, he knew she was charmed by him, but he saw her as a friend, a girl. Until one night of mistakes destroys Nikki’s heart and plunges Gabe into guilt. Now after so much time and with the two of them back to the same place where everything happened, will they be able to understand each other, or will the ghosts of the past interfere between the two?
I loved their trajectory. Although Gabe frustrates me with some attitude and the way he treats Nikki when she comes back, I can understand the reason he’s had this attitude, I can understand his guilt over what happened and the fact that she does not return his attempts to contact. With so much going on, so many changes he is facing, reconnecting with Nikki and knowing the person she became were important to him, she was responsible for bringing a certain normalcy to his world and making him realize that the girl he knew changed, grew, but he also changed, even if he did not realize it.
The development of the new friendship of the two was interesting to follow, as well as the whole process of Gabe gradually realizing that what he feels for her is not only friendship, that he likes her as a woman, and with it doing small gestures , such as the place in his workshop so she can devote herself to what she likes, or like the fact that he kept the pieces of wood for all these years without realizing what he was doing. The story of the two was difficult, had many tears but in the end they finally managed to establish themselves first as individuals, to become a couple later.
The mystery so characteristic in the series is also very important in the plot, we have Nikki being threatened, Gabe having every step watched, accidents not being accidents, many questions without answers about the family, Devlin being more mysterious than normal, the Senator being a possible threat, Sabrina proving dangerous and cunning, Parker alternating between the bon vivant and villain and the house with its characteristic features, with open doors and floors creaking.
It is a second-chance novel, where the time away served to show the characters that in the end the two complete each other, that the hurt, mistakes and feelings of inadequacy were in the past, and the important thing now is to build this journey together.
The book has action, romance, fights and will make the reader stay tuned so as not to lose any detail of this intricate narrative. A good book, with a real and cute couple, with good doses of suspense and that presents some new pieces in this puzzle that is the de Vincent family. The next book will focus on Devlin, the most incognito character yet, and with a glimpse in this book that he may not be as cold as he looks, many emotions will be in check in the next and final volume. All we have to do is wait and see how the de Vincent’s story will end.
I honestly didn’t think it was possible but I loved reading Moonlight Seduction even more than I loved Moonlight Sins.
Jennifer L. Armentrout has completely outdone herself.
This book is a second chance romance story full of emotional highs and lows, angst, suspense, action, mystery and brief flashes of humour.
With the second book in the De Vincent series, Jennifer L. Armentrout reveals some of the secrets and skeletons in the de Vincent’s closets and hints at even more disturbing revelations to come in the third and final book in the series.
I, for one, can’t wait to read the next installment and secretly hope that the author decides to write more books in this sultry, extravangant, hauntingly beautiful, decadent series.
Family is everything and when they need help, you come to their aid. Nicolette Bresson knows how much her parents need her right now. With a college degree under her belt, Nic puts of plans for the future to head back to her childhood home. Never in a million years did Nicolette think she would return to the de Vincent mansion. The place where so many memories lurk around the corner.
Working for the de Vincent family was never in the plans. Neither was her mother’s illness, but Nicolette must put it all aside to fill in for her mother at the mansion. What’s on the agenda? Staying away from the one brother who still haunts her dreams……Gabe. As a teenager – Nicolette fell head over heels for the much older de Vincent brother. Is there a way for Nicolette to avoid the man she walked away from all those years ago?
Moonlight Seduction is the second installment in the de Vincent series by author Jennifer L. Armentrout. I couldn’t wait to dive into the drama that is swirling around these sexy siblings. This book did not disappoint!! Nicolette is a great lead character. Full of sass and a dedication to her family, Nicolette is the perfect ‘match’ for Gabe. As the two fight a long brewing attraction, Nicolette ponders the path for her future.
With the secrets surrounding the de Vincent’s swirling at an epic speed, Nicolette finds unexplained things happening all around her. Is there someone gunning for the de Vincent’s? Is Nicolette in danger or is it all a coincidence? Every nuance of the brothers’ lives draws me deeper and deeper into the mysteries that surround those that reside in the de Vincent mansion. Devlin’s story is next, and I can’t wait to see what twists and turn are lying in wait for the most sullen of the brothers. A great series!
I almost stopped reading this because Gabe was such a jerk to Nikki about what happened before she left, accepting NO responsibility! I was so mad. But I trusted in Jennifer Armentrout and I was glad I did.
This series just keeps getting better and better with every new book that comes out granted there’s only two, but still, it’s true. I think Gabe and Nikki’s story just might be my favorite in this series so far and I am sooooo ready for Devlin’s story because that will definitely an awesome one. He is the brother I’m so curious about the more we dive into the de Vincent men, OK, getting off track.
Moonlight Seduction is just one of those books you can read in one sitting, even though it was a bit longer than I expected it to be (not complaining though)! Every page is so darn alluring and intriguing, everything will be you drawing in you from the very beginning. Not just the strong connection that Gabe and Nikki share, and have shared for several years, but the heart-hammering suspense and mystery. I have to admit that the de Vincent Estate scares the crap out of me, too many crazy things have happened (still happening) in that mansion. The stories that come about that mansion keeps stacking up with every book in this series. The whole “skeletons in the closet” has a new meaning when it comes to the de Vincent family and the more that’s revealed, it sheds a different light on them. One that shows they’d do anything for family … family always comes first to the de Vincent boys, so that’s something you should remember when you’re reading this series. And also, don’t f*ck with them. PERIOD!
Nikki and Gabe are absolutely perfect together! Their chemistry is something that all romance books should have, it’s sizzling hot no matter how hard they tried to fight it. Every time they’re in the same room, you just want them to give in already. With the reputation the de Vincent men hold, I love seeing their softer side when it comes to love. It’s obviously a rare sight with these men, but I’m just left awestruck with that side of them. It just shows the many layers of them and that there’s so much more to them than what the rumors say.
The dialogue between Nikki and Gabe is everything! There’s so much want between them that just gets you all kinds of excited. It’s scorching hot. But besides all that, we have the suspense part to Moonlight Seduction and it will leave the hairs on the back of your neck standing up and checking to see if anyone’s behind you. The one question I’m constantly asking myself when I read this series is “who is it?!”. There are some shady things happening and left with no explanation, but when it is, I just want to know if I was right or not. It’s pretty much a big game of Guess Who. I find it funny that I’ll have all these questions, while some get answered, others don’t, but I’m sure they will be when Devlin’s book comes out.
Absolutely loved Moonlight Seduction and can’t wait for the final book, Moonlight Scandals. We get the very little glimpse at the end that’ll keep you wanting! Bravo, Jennifer, for yet another amazing series!

Erica –
Moonlight Seduction is the second installment of the de Vincent series, and I suggest strongly to read in series order. While I don’t believe there would be too much confusion if read as a standalone, the reader would miss out on important facets of the storyline given during Moonlight Sins.
I enjoyed Moonlight Sins, especially the Gothic mystery-filled manor house. However, Moonlight Seduction captured me from page one, causing me to click feverishly to see what happens next. I enjoyed the second installment leaps and bounds more than the first, and I believe this is due in part to the narrators.
We met Gabe in the first book – the youngest brother, who had something horrible happen to his ex-girlfriend. Not as intriguing as his big brothers, but more down-to-earth and resonating with readers. He’s the good-natured brother. The sweetheart who took good care of Julia in book one. Lighthearted and flirty on the outside, brooding and deep on the inside. The readers will go crazy over Gabe’s inner struggles.
Nic is the housekeeper and butler’s daughter. She’s spent a lot of time in the haunted, cursed house. A decade younger than the youngest of the de Vincents, she has always been seen as the annoying little sister who was too chatty, too clumsy, too awkward – or worse, she was seen as a member of the staff, as below them.
Nic was a pleasure to read. Home to take over her mother’s job while Mom has treatments, a grown woman Nicolette encounters the man she’s always had a crush on. Her head is twisted when it comes to sex after encounters with both Parker and Gabe.
The gut-punch angst. The mystery. The push-pull. Will they, won’t they slow-burn. Love-hate. Second-chance romance. The affluent vs the help. Meddlesome relatives. The Gothic house seeming to have a life of its own. Moonlight Seduction had every single yummy plot device that has me devouring a book.
Was the book perfect? I have no idea since I read it as quickly as possible. Did I know who was doing the mystery part of the novel? Yeah, I did, but it was still satisfying. I always hand out five-stars when I would do just about anything to get my hands on the next in the series.
The Devil’s book is next. Gimme. It’s going to feel like a long wait until February 2019.

This is the second book in the series and I would recommend reading the first one, as there are aspects and relationships that will continue in book two.
This is Gabe’s story. He is the youngest of the brothers and at the end of book one, his life changes forever in more ways than one. While he’s trying to figure out how to balance his life, someone he never thought he’d see again comes waltzing back into his life.
Nic is an amazing character. She’s strong while also being vulnerable and feisty while also being demure. I loved her snarky side and when she was able to truly speak her mind.
Nic has had a crush on Gabe since she was much younger. When a mistake was made, both were really changed by it. Gabe is kind of a jerk throughout the story and that’s one of the reasons why it lost half a star. I wanted to like him so much more, but his push-pull of Nic was sometimes just too much.
Nobody sees what comes at the end and while it’s not exactly a cliffhanger, I think that it kind of is, at the same time. Cryptic, I know, but you’ll just have to read it so that I make sense. Nic and Gabe will fight, claw, yell, and love all within these pages and it’s all so worth it!
I also wish that more was said concerning Nic’s family. It felt unanswered and I wish that we were given more on that part of the story. However, I cannot wait for more of these characters.

The de Vincent family has a lot of secrets and in this book a few more are revealed. And perhaps a clue to another?
Nic has loved Gabe since she was a teen. Now at 22, she knows that she’s still too young for him, no matter what her heart says. Their one night together four years ago proved to her that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend and she doesn’t want to be a fill-in. She deserves more.
Gabe knows that being with Nic is out of the question. He’s too old for her and her father is liable to kill him if he finds out that they shared a night together several years ago.
As eerie things continue in the house, Nic and Gabe renew their friendship and sparks continue to fly. Just as things begin to get serious between them, Dev’s fiancée stirs up trouble for them both. When secrets finally see the light of day, their lives will never be the same.

I liked the first book in the de Vincent series, but I LOVED the second book!! I was really looking forward to Gabriel’s story, and this didn’t disappoint. Moonlight Seduction drew me in quickly and completely, with Nikki returning to a place she vowed never to, and Gabriel leading the way…
I love Nikki, she has a spine and sass, and isn’t afraid to use them (unfortunately, that’s usually frowned upon when thrown at your employer). The de Vincent home isn’t new to Nic, as she practically grew up in the mansion, but being an adult, she sees it through new eyes.
This was a slow building, emotionally intense romance that was also eerily nerve-racking, suspenseful, and just really well written. I loved watching Nic and Gabriel come together, it wasn’t rushed, but it was heart felt and felt LONG overdue.
I highly recommend this book for the suspense, the slow-simmering romance, and most importantly, the characters!

Jennifer L Armentrout is hands down my favorite author. She has always had the ability to just suck me right into a book and leave me reading all night long. Now, as much as I enjoyed Moonlight Sins, book one in the de Vincent series, I think book two, Moonlight Seduction, was way better! I totally devoured Moonlight Sins, but I’m not gonna lie it did kind of drag a bit in some spots, but Moonlight Seduction just keeps you glued to the pages from start to finish! The whole story just flows so nicely and has such a lovely slow burning build. Although, I think reading Moonlight Sins first isn’t totally necessary because Jennifer L. Armentrout does a good job of kind of explaining any truly useful background information, however, I do think it could be helpful for just for a better understanding of the story. Also, why would you pass up the opportunity to read a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout?
Moonlight Seduction, follows the story of Gabriel de Vincent and Nicolette Bresson. Nikki grew up wandering the halls of the de Vincent home where her parents worked. Now, after having just finished college, she never imagined herself going back to the de Vincent home, but when she finds out her mother is sick, she immediately decides to fill in for her until she’s better. Now all she has to do is try to avoid Gabe, the man who broke her heart, which would be much easier if he wasn’t constantly trying to invade Nikki’s space.
I just really grew a special soft spot for Gabe and Nikki. Also, together on the pages, their romance was so HOT. After reading about the first two brothers in the de Vincent series, I am more intrigued than ever to finally read Devlin’s story in Moonlight Seduction! I just love the way Jennifer L. Armentrout has blended a spooky paranormal feel to her romance. All in all, another solid read!
5 STARS for Moonlight Seduction by Jennifer L Armentrout.
Ruthie –
This is the second book in the series, and I would say that you definitely need to read them in order… and I also want the next book NOW, not when it is due for publication. This is a well plotted, tense mystery with plenty more to be revealed. We are drip fed hints all through the books, but I am very keen to understand more!
In this installment, we get the goodness that is Gabe de Vincent meeting his match with Nicolette, daughter of the family housekeeper/butler. She is a lovely mix of naïve, shy, and feisty young woman. She can only be admired for standing in for her sick mother and up to Dev’s odious fiancée.
I love the woodworking connection that she and Gabe have, and even her BFF Rosie has to agree that his creation of a work room for her in his workshop is pretty romantic! Obviously, he is less than perfect and has done some less than honourable things in his past, but the reader can only hope that he sorts himself out in time to rescue his budding love affair with Nic.
There is still plenty of the gothic mystery in this installment, and with the dastardly protagonists from the last book out of the way, new ones have come to create more mayhem and madness. Another brilliant installment, no doubts at all about that! Please write more quickly, please.
Reviewers on the Wicked Reads Review Team were provided a free copy of Moonlight Seduction (de Vincent #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout to read and review.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
This is the second novel in the de Vincent series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. It can be read as a stand alone but I encourage you to read Midnight Sins too because it’s another great book.
Moonlight Seduction features the middle brother Gabe and the house manager’s daughter Nikki or Nic as he likes to call her. Nikki has always had a fascination with Gabe that turned into more when she was a teenager. There’s a couple of hurdles between them though – money and age. He has more money than God and she’s 10 years younger. But does that really even matter?
During this book some of the secondary characters really show their true colors. You’ll want to throttle them and hunt them down yourself to inflict damage. Seriously. Of course there’s a time or two where you want to do that to the primaries too.
I enjoyed reading this novel…some questions were answered but then there’s still one giant one at the end to figure out, which hopefully we will do in the third book.
I had high exspections to this book because i really liked all books that read by Jennifer until this one. I’m really that i’m able to say that the story around Gabe and Nic was able to catch me.
First thing i really liked about this Story was that special second chance element in this story. Because it was interesting to see how it works.
Even i liked that second chance part of the story sometimes i was a bit annoyed by the way both of the main characters dealt with their Situation. Because sometimes i couldn’t get way Gabe was mean in one second and then nice in the other.
What i also liked was that we got a closer look into all the secrets that were swerling around the De Vincent Household. Because we all ready from the first part that there had been a lot of secrets. and we got to know how the things that happend in the first book had an impact on the brothers.
The way Jennifer brought in the characters that we known all ready from the last book was grate because whenever they came in it fits in ti the story line.
The way the book was plotted was really good it was so catching. When you once started reading its hard to put he book down. Because there was a a lot of tension.
Also Jennifer had an addictive style of writing. Because i was able to connect to Gabe and Nic eventough it was written out of third perspective.
Sometimes i wasn’t able to connect to Gabe 100 but it wasn’t the Problem with Nic in the same way.
Gabe was a rich boy who had his problems and his secrets. But also he had good manners. His way to show how he cares about important persons in his life.
Nic is young women who stands up for her Family. But also has her very own sass. Her humir was really good and even if she acted like it wasn’t normal in position.
All we had lovestory with alot of suspense here. But both of the story elements were in the right proportion to each other. If you enjoy books with humor and serious themes and interesting characters then there is nothing you can do wrong with this book. it get 4 stars from me.
This is my first read from Jennifer L. Armentrout despite having her Lux series on my kindle for a while now and I am kicking myself for not reading her before. Even though this is the second book in the de Vincent series you can read it as a standalone but like me your interest will be peaked into book 1.
This book is Nikki and Gabe’s story and its a slow burner, which I am not normally too much of a fan of but this really works and I was gripped throughout.
Nikki has always been around the de Vincents as her parents work for them and shes been in love with Gabe since she was a teenager. She hasn’t seen them for 4 years after leaving for college but now she I back helping her sick mum out and trying desperately to avoid Gabe.
You are kept on your toes with the suspense that’s weaved into this story. There are a lot of secrets that are revealed, some great twists and turns mixed in with the palpable tension and chemistry that simmers along the surface between Nikki and Gabe
I am looking forward to seeing Devlin’s story and what happens next.
Loved this book! I didn’t think I would like the second book as much as the first, but I was 100% wrong. I’m usually hesitant to read the second book when it is centered around a different lead couple, but I loved this. Gabe and Nikki have a troubled past, but their connection is strong. I was dying to learn more about Gabe, and he didn’t disappoint. Nikki was a surprising addition, but I throughly enjoyed her. I’m usually not interested in books with a large age gap between characters, so this was a new development for me. There is so much passion and unresolved tension between the two that it keeps you hooked. In addition to experiencing the angst between Gabe and Nikki, you get to dive deeper into the family dynamic. You see more of the whole family, and get to solve more of the mystery. I’m dying to read the next installment, and finally figure out what is truly happening. This book has it all. Love, angst, mystery. What more do you need? I highly recommend checking out this book, but you should read the series in order. You won’t be disappointed!!

This was one of the hardest reviews to write. JLA is one of my favorite authors; the one I’ve been loyal to for years. I usually devour her books in a matter of hours, sometimes days. But there are a few that just so damn hard to read. They drag, and drag, and drag, and by the time I’m done with it (because I’m loyal like that- I have to finish her book), I’m so frustrated and often disappointed that the feeling sticks with me for days.
I mean you know what I’m getting to here, right? Right. So let’s get this over with.
Moonlight Seduction didn’t pull all the right stings like it was supposed to. And I wanted for it to so badly.
I honestly was disappointed with Gabriel’s character. The glimpses of him that I got in the first book left me in anticipation of his story; I was intrigued, imagining how great his book would be. But after reading Moonlight Seduction i just thought of him as hollow. He didn’t impress me nor was he memorable. I honestly cannot say much about Gabe and I was so hoping to like him.
Nic, just like Julia from Moonlight Sins, is a very mature character, even despite her age. I think I could’ve liked her a lot more if only she wasn’t… a younger, bolder Julia. The thing with female leads in JLA books (more adult than her YA reads) is that they are all usually very calm and balanced. Yes they have issues, fears, insecurities, but overall they are not “drama” girls. And I really like it about them. However, sometimes one character reminds me of another.
Now I do want to mention my favorite scene that I think the author perfected. But please don’t get the wrong impression.
(A mild spoiler here)
I thought the scene of Nic being attacked at her apartment was the best one in the book. It was an experience. I felt like I was watching a 3D movie, with things flying around me and bodies almost slamming right next to me. It was amazing.
Now, there is a third book in the series, Dev’s story. And I’m afraid to jinx myself (because that’s basically what I said in the review of the first book), but… here goes nothing.
I’m really looking forward to Moonlight Scandals.
I think there will be lots of demons Dev would have to deal with and I cannot wait to see “inside” his head, but I also anticipate a good paranormal aspect of the final book. I hope to find out why the heck cameras wont work in the house!!!
An e-ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
Moonlight Seduction was SUCH a good book. I liked Moonlight Sins, but I honestly had a hard time connecting with Lucien at times. However, Gabe… OMG, GABE. I had no such problem with Gabe.
I went into Moonlight Seduction thinking it would be about one thing (the big reveal at the end of Moonlight Sins), but it was actually about something very different. This book is a perfect unrequited love second chance romance. Because Gabe and Nikki knew each other when they were younger – Nikki was only a young teen and Gabe was the sexy, older rich boy for which her parents worked. Until one fateful night, Gabe’s actions drove Nikki away for more than four years.
Now, she’s back and is determined to avoid Gabe even though she’s working in his house. Gabe can’t believe this is the same skinny teen who had a huge crush on him years before. He endures incessant teasing from Lucien and his friends about her and plenty of threats from Dev to stay away from her, but Gabe and Nikki are in each other’s orbits now. Time and maturity and clarity have changed things for both of them.
I loved how Nikki tried so hard to resist him. She really did put up a good fight, and really, all that succeeded in doing is piquing Gabe’s interest even more. And then Gabe’s protective instincts go into full force when it appears that someone is out for her. I LOVED seeing that part of him. Like, SO much. That was when I was convinced that, not only is he in love with her now, but I think he might have been at least halfway there four years earlier.
So, who is out to hurt Nikki? And why? And what will happen when Nikki finds out about what takes Gabe to Baton Rouge every so often? Those are questions that burned in my brain the whole time I was reading, and the answers to all of them were incredibly satisfying and perfect for the story.
A lot of events in the de Vincent main story arc occur, so even though you can read Moonlight Seduction by itself and still enjoy it immensely, you will do yourself a favor to start with Moonlight Sins so that you can be caught up on all the events swirling around the three brothers. Some things are resolved in this book, but eve more things were left open for the final book to finish them off.
Jen Armentrout’s way of humanizing her characters to the point where you believe not only that they are real, but that they could be friends of yours, is so awesome. I feel so involved in this family’s story and their secrets that I’m craving the next book so that I can see them all get their HEAs. Dev has been incredibly hard to love so far, so I’m looking forward to seeing Jen work her magic on him.
This book has it all! Definitely a awesome second chance romance with a lot of steam and secrets. Loved this book very much and can’t wait for more.
This series just keeps getting better! In the first book, we are introduced to the de Vincent brothers and the curse that surrounds their family home. In this book creepy things keep happening while we learn more about the middle brother Gabe. Moonlight Seduction can be read as a standalone for sure, but why would you want to miss out on all the drama and mystery from the first book?
Nikki returns to the de Vincent home to help her dad with the upkeep of the mansion since her mother has fallen ill. She basically grew up at the de Vincent home and had a huge crush on Gabe growing up. One night before she leaves for college, she decides to act upon her feelings for Gabe, but the next morning flees vowing never to return. Now, four years later, she’s trying to do the job for her dad and avoid Gabe as much as possible. The push and pull between Gabe and Nikki is electric. As much as they try to avoid each other, there is no denying their chemistry. When the de Vincent curse rears its head, Gabe quickly gives up avoiding Nikki, and does everything he can to keep the girl he loves safe.
I loved watching Gabe come to terms with his feeling for Nikki. She made him work for it that’s for sure. I loved Nikki. She was kind, loving, but stood her ground. Watching the two of them finally come together was perfect. There are still crazy things going on at the de Vincent mansion and I’m certain Devlin is the key to unlocking the rest. Although we did get to know him a little better in this book, Devlin has pretty much been a mystery. I cannot wait for his book!
The second book in the Moonlight Series from JLA -this one is about one of the brothers, Gabe, and Nikki. I really loved the first book -the humor had me laughing at loud in some awkward places but it was totally worth it! JLA did a wonderful job with this second book -you can read it as a standalone and still have a great understanding of how the de Vincent “world” works. Honestly Gabe was not my favorite character from the first book -he was the reluctantly helpful, standoffish type but you never really got to see any character growth. I LOVE how we get to see how his mind works and his interactions with Nikki. More of the haunted house and de Vincent curse are covered in this story to give a little more life than what the other brothers believe it to have. Could not put this down and can’t wait for the next book to see how this “curse” ends for the de Vincents. Would definitely recommend!

Completely and utterly captivated by the suspense that lingers in the halls of the de Vincent Mansion yet again.
Armentrout beguiled me with her words, her plot, her characters’ emotions and actions in Moonlight Seduction. I was infatuated with Moonlight Sin, the first book, yet now I am head over heels in love with Seduction.
This is a short and to the point review for a brilliant continuation in the de Vincent series. There does not need excess words for such brilliance for Armentrout’s work! Even though Moonlight Seduction can be read as a standalone since it revolves around a different brother, I would advise to read Moonlight Sins as events and characters happen from the first book that I believe help shape this story.
Gabriel de Vincent and Nicolette Bresson are two characters that take you on a emotional, all the feels, angsty roller coaster relationship. Add in some mysterious occurrences in the mansion that lead to some inspiring revelations and you have one epic book in your hands. Everyone needs to read this book, believe me when I say you won’t put it down once you begin!
My heart is pounding to find out what will be in store for Devlin de Vincent. Can someone tame the ‘devil’ himself?
When I was offered an ARC of this one I went and downloaded the first book to catch up on this series. Each book can be a standalone but I like to read them in order. These brothers are great and I loved read about them. Lucian (from book 1 – Moonlight Sins) was sexy and fun but I loved Gabe more. Moonlight Seduction was, for me, better than the first book. There is a third book, Moonlight Scandals, that I can not wait to read.
The slow build, the seduction, the anticipation was my favorite things about this book. I love a good slow burn book. I love it when the mystery and suspense is done well. When there is more to a book than the romance, that is when I really enjoy a book. These books are my first ones by Jennifer. I’m interested in looking into her other ones now. I’ve been to her event, Apollycon, and I’m going to it again next year. I hope to have several of her books read by then. If you haven’t started anything by her, I recommend you trying her out.
I have been a huge fan of the de Vincent series since Moonlight Seduction and have been dying for Gabe’s story. I absolutely loved this book! It was brilliant and filled with all the intricate details and secrets about the house and the family I loved from Lucian and Julia’s book but with a new second chance story that rocked my socks off.
When Nicolette Bresson returns to work for the de Vincent family after disappearing for four years after her last encounter with Gabriel de Vincente she never could have expected this dark and brooding man would look at her again after the way she left him and their memories four years earlier. But with danger and secrets coming at her from all sides, will Nikki allow Gabe to protect her before the de Vincent curse strikes again?
I thought Nikki and Gabe had great chemistry and their story was electrifying. I loved the delicious and decadent age difference and their history. One of my favorite parts of this story was the fun and sarcastic banter between the brothers. It provided entertaining and witty moments that I could not get enough of. Gabe and Nikki’s slow burn build up was also amazing and the eventual fireworks between them was EXPLOSIVE. What’s even better is the fact that there are SO many more secrets and mysterious events still going on that we have no idea about. In particular, I loved seeing Dev and the dark and hidden secrets surrounding him and seriously can’t wait for his book!! Bravo!! 5 stars! ~Ratula
I loved this one. Thought it was even better than the first book in the series.
Nikki and Gabe are real and flawed. And so perfect for each other.
Also, this book amps on the sexiness.
It has a few twists, which I’m sure will be resolved in Dev’s book.
I have a theory and can’t wait to find out if I’m right.
Dev’s book can’t get here fast enough. I’m dying to read it.
I have a feeling I’m going to love Dev’s book the best.

Review
I liked this book. It was a very enjoyable read, one that I couldn’t put down. I started reading before planning to go to sleep, I was tired so I didn’t think I’d be able to read for long. Well it was 9:30/10 pm when I started and I finished 1:30 am. So no early night for me.
Like the first book this one has sons of suspense and mystery in it. I liked that the book kept you guessing whether or not there was something paranormal going on.
What is this book about:
This book focuses on Gabriel, the middle de Vincent brother and Nikki, the daughter of the de Vincent’s house keepers. Nikki grew up with or around the de Vincent brothers. She has a huge crush on Gabe. She would follow him around. Well one night something happened right before she went to collage. Something that really hurt her. After not seeing Gabe for four year, she comes face to face with him again after she returns home to take over her mothers house keeping duties for a while. There is no escaping from Gabe now. As angry as Gabe is with her, he can’t stop looking at her. As much as he wants to push her away, he just can’t help wanting her closer.
What did I like about this book:
While I really liked this book it’s not my favorite series by Jennifer. I love the added suspense, Jennifer writes that so well. I had my suspicious but I wasn’t sure.
I liked Nikki, she is a strong girl that has a backbone. She wasn’t beyond putting Gabe in his place even though she was the “help”.
I liked seeing Lucian and Julia again. It was fun to see Lucian was just as much in love with her as he was in the first book.
It was interesting seeing Devlin some more. The way this book ended makes me very interested into reading his book.
