The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel . . . Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for … where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.
Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman . . . one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

A slow burning romance, Moonlight Seduction was intriguing and suspensful with unforgettable secondary characters!
I found myself drawn more to the characters in the background at times with all the back and forth, will Gabe, won’t Gabe and his douchebag ways. Then we have Nikki. She’s sweet and feisty, yet a bit naive at times. Especially when it comes to Gabe. She’s totally smitten with him, but at the same time she also fights and puts him in his place. Their relationship has never been an easy one, but a friendship of sorts is slowly formed and not long after it escalates into something more. Even with all the obstacles standing in Gabe and Nikki’s way, the attraction between them is strong, constantly pulling them together and it’s passionate and so sensual you can’t help but to be drawn under the spell of it.
Moonlight Seduction is not only filled with a lot of angst and heartbreak that tugs at your heart strings, but suspense and danger. Secrets, deception, and drama seem to always follow this notorious family while enemies lurk in every corner… You’ll be at the edge of your seat wanting more!
Moonlight Seduction is the amazing and beautiful mansion built on the foundation of book one….this is a story of characters that are holding their walls up and trying to find new footing.
Man oh man the de Vincent series has me all twisted up in knots. Moonlight Seduction was a wonderful follow up to Moonlight Sins and, dare I say, I think I liked it even more than the first? I totally did. Sorry, Lucian and Julia! I really did like y’all… but I loved me some Nikki and Gabe.
Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and, while I wouldn’t call this a traditional second chance story, it was perfect for me. I was all over it. Nikki and Gabe had this amazing chemistry right from the very start. I wouldn’t call their romance a slow burn, but there sure was a whole lot of blisteringly hot sexual tension. You know, until they couldn’t stay away from each other anymore. Then it just got that much hotter. I swear, I think my iPad scorched my fingers at one point.
The romance was fantastic, but the secondary storyline with Nikki’s … stalker? is that what I want to call it? … kept me on edge. Was she really being followed? Was she imagining things? Is the de Vincent house haunted? So many questions. And, while some have been answered, others remain a mystery. I’m hopelessly addicted to this family and this series. I can’t wait until it’s time for Devlin’s story in Moonlight Scandals.
FAVORITE QUOTES
“I don’t want anything to do with you and I want you to stay the hell away from me.”
He wanted her. Under him. On him. In front of him. On her knees. And with his head between her thighs. He wanted her every which way he could think and damn, he had an active imagination.
“You still want me. You probably never stopped wanting me.”
It felt like something real, something deep. It felt like love.
“What I feel for you is not just lust—even though I feel a lot of that, don’t get me wrong. It’s deeper. It’s heavier. It makes me think about things I never thought I would think about again.”
After the jaw-dropping revelations that were discovered at the end of Moonlight Sins, I was eager to dive even deeper into the mysterious, scandalous world of the de Vincent family. Getting a new love story on top of what already promised to be an intriguing, drama-filled continuation of the de Vincent Series certainly piqued my curiosity as well. If you thought Moonlight Sins was intense, brace yourself because Moonlight Seduction is packed with more mystery, more danger, and more intrigue. Moonlight Seduction will wreak havoc on your emotions, set your pulse racing, and blow your ever-loving mind.
With Moonlight Seduction, Jennifer L. Armentrout delivers another bone-chilling, shiver-inducing, Hitchcockian thriller with protagonists, Gabriel de Vincent and Nicolette Bresson, at the center. After returning home to assume her ailing mother’s role as the caretaker of the de Vincent household, Nikki comes face to face with Gabe, the middle de Vincent brother with whom she has a messy, complicated history. Her longtime crush on a man ten years her senior resulted in years of heartache and disappointment, which leads to an uneasy, tension-filled reunion. The hostility between them doesn’t erase their budding attraction, though, and it’s not long before they succumb to their innermost desires. Intruding on their would-be romance are a number of suspicious circumstances and nonstop, eyebrow-raising drama. The de Vincent curse seems to be striking again, this time putting Nikki in harm’s way.
I didn’t think it was possible for Jennifer L. Armentrout to top Moonlight Sins in terms of shock value, but Moonlight Seduction was pure insanity. In the best possible way. The author is brilliant at building suspense (So. Much. Suspense.), inducing paranoia (I was thoroughly freaked out), and keeping you guessing (Seriously, what was happening?!). Between the emotional roller coaster of a romance and the danger that stalked these characters throughout the narrative, I don’t think my heart stopped racing until the final page.
Moonlight Seduction is the very definition of a page-turner. I raced through the pages, determined to uncover each new, astonishing secret and finally learn the source of the newest troubles plaguing the de Vincent family. There’s so much drama – both familial and romantic – and so much happening in every chapter that I found it impossible to take a break for even a second. This is the type of book that makes you want to slap a “Do Not Disturb” sign on your forehead because it’s too eventful, too engrossing, and just too good to put down. This book is, without a doubt, a must-read.

Moonlight Seduction is book 2 in the de Vincent series, but it could be read as a standalone. The story was a bit slow in the beginning, getting the background of Nikki and Gabe, but when it eventually picked up, it really picked up! It was full of angst, drama, suspense, mystery, and sexiness.
Nicolette aka Nikki aka Nic, is a 22 year old who’s helping her family fill in at the de Vincent’s while her mom is going through chemo. She’s strong, sweet, caring, loyal, and doesn’t put up with a lot of crap. I like how she stood up to her “betters” and refused to take whatever was being thrown her way (unless they threatened her family).
Gabriel aka Gabe aka Demon, is 32 years old and has some personal stuff going on in his life that he’s trying to keep on the down-low. Honestly, he’s a dick in the beginning, but then he turns into a caring, loyal, protective man. What I didn’t like about him was his wishy-washy feelings towards Nikki. It was a constant back and forth it seems for most of the story. There were many times he’d be sweet, say some a$$holish stuff, then apologize later. Granted, I’m glad he was man enough to apologize when he knew he was in the wrong.
All in all, this was a good read. The ending was whoa! I’m truly looking forward to Dev’s story because I wan’t to know what makes him tick! Thank you Jenn for this ARC. This is my honest review.
There’s just something about a second chance romance that I absolutely love and Jennifer Armentrout did not let me down with Moonlight Seduction. I love Nikki and Gabe’s relationship and their entire dynamic. It was also fun seeing Lucian and Julia and getting to know Devlin a little bit more in this book. There was also a thriller aspect with a bit of a twist that I did not see coming, which I really enjoyed. The suspense, mystery, romance, and angst were everything that I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with the way the book turned out. All in all this was a great, quick read and I can’t wait to read Devlin’s book.
I love an unrequited love turns to HEA, especially when it seems there is no hope. But all is not lost between Nikki and Gabe, because some things are meant to be. I devoured this love story with the backdrop of a haunting family mystery that kept me turning the pages.

: Moonlight Seduction
: de Vincent #2
: Jennifer L. Armentrout
: 4/5
This was my least favorite book in the series, but I still really enjoyed it! There were a couple of things that I just wished there was more off. The book felt a bit unfinished at the end (it was a happy ending, don’t get me wrong.. I just wanted more happy and more ending I guess) and some of the plot twist were a bit obvious in my opinion. However, I really loved the romance and the “forbidden love” story. I felt this book was less “scary” as the first one (if you read my review of Moonlight Sins, you will know I am easily scared). There was way more suspense which is a really big bonus if you ask me and I really liked the vibes Nikki and Gabe gave off. There were a lot of steamy moments for those who like that and I also really liked the hints towards the next book. All in all, it was a really good book with loads of suspense, steam and forbidden love.

The de Vincent brothers are back in the second book of their series, and they are just as hot, dangerous, and dirty talking as they were the first time around. Jennifer Armentrout weaves a spell with her story-telling that is full of romance, secrets, and mysteries that blew my mind. My favorite supporting character in this series is actually the de Vincent house; I cannot wait to learn exactly how much of what happens in these stories is actually caused by the ghosts in the house!!! Nikki and Gabe’s story was another wonderful piece in this puzzle, with amazing chemistry and scenes that made my stomach flip, and I cannot wait for the final book in the series!

Oh my, I don’t even know where to begin. I did not know what to expect from Gabriel’s book. To be honest, I am not big fan when my heroes/heroines were already in love with someone else. Call me possessive, but I just don’t like the idea of the heroine being second best or somehow being loved less by the hero. But Moonlight Seduction somehow made it work.
Nikki basically grew up with the de Vincent brother with her parents being employed by them. Ever since she was a young girl she had a crush on Gabriel and the older she got, the stronger her feelings grew. That is what drove her to do something crazy one night and that something has caused her to fled the state. It was not until years later than she came back to help her family and came to face to face with Gabriel for the first time since that night.
It was quite entertaining to see Gabriel and Nikki trying to avoid each other at all cost, mostly because it did not work. Like, at all. Even when neither of them realized it, they were always seeking the other out. Even though Gabriel had a lot on his plate and the last thing he should have been doing was to get involved with Nikki, he could not help himself. It was like two magnets coming together.
I really, really liked Nikki. She came a long way from being the girl that made that mistake all those years ago. She really matured and I loved how she tried to resist Gabriel as she did not want history repeating itself. She really respects herself and knows her worth and really does not let Gabriel get away with things just because she has been in love with him since she was a teenager. She is always honest with him, even when he does not offer her the same courtesy in return.
Gabriel has a lot on his plate and he is not quite sure where Nikki fits into his life. I love Gabriel but I wish he was honest with Nikki from the start instead of keeping things from her. He treated their relationship something that has an expiration date and that is not something I liked. It was like he was using her for good time until it was time for him to move on. I knew that what he felt for Nikki was much stronger than some insignificant fleeting feelings that would disappear over night, I just wished he was brave and more honest with both himself and Nikki. But he redeemed himself in the end, times a thousand, so that made up for it!
Moonlight Seduction was sexy, dark and emotional. Things continue to unravel when it comes to the de Vincent family. Some things come to light while other things remain in the shadow. I cannot wait to have the last piece of the puzzle and finally uncover the mystery surrounding the de Vincents.
I loved this one even better than the first one! Gabe was particularly intense and the age difference was even awesome.
Great series by a great author!
3.5 Stars. I liked Gabe and Nikki, but I am not 100% sold on their story
I’m so torn about how to rate this book!
Moonlight Seduction follows on the heels of Moonlight Sins and stars the middle de Vincent sibling, Gabe, and Nikki, the daughter of two of the de Vincent’s most loyal employees. After discovering her mother has cancer, Nikki, who has been away the last four years at college, returns to the de Vincent mansion to take over her mother’s role as manager of the house. This, in turn, sparks a dangerous romance between Nikki and the most approachable of the de Vincent brothers.
A decade younger than Gabe, Nikki spent the latter part of her teenage years crushing on Gabe and getting no where in the process despite sharing something with him the night before she left for school. Now that she’s back, Nikki and Gabe begin a delicate dance around one another to avoid the underlying chemistry neither of them wants to admit is there. Not only is their love forbidden, but Gabe has just been handed some shocking news about a former love.
Much like with the first book, I wanted to like it more than I did. The same mysterious/creepy element that was present in the first book was carried through in this one and the number of unstable people in the de Vincent’s acquaintance seems to be ever-growing. The romance between Nikki and Gabe was another slow burn and I had an inkling about what the plot twist would be before it was revealed. Despite the overall intriguing premise of the series, I think that ultimately I’m struggling to connect with the characters. They’re supposed to be kind of gruff and dangerous (not to mention cocky), but I think in creating them that way, they also became a little harder to like since they’re constantly being jerks.
The book felt simultaneously too short and too long. I would have liked to see a little more background. It almost feels like each of the de Vincent brothers needs their own short series to really develop them as characters and see their storylines evolve. I definitely feel invested enough in the series to see it through until the end. There are some loose threads that need to be tied up and some hunches that I need confirmed.
Man, I am whipping through these babies because I am thirsty for the knowledge of what the heck is going on in this insane family. SO MUCH DRAMA.

And I’m kinda glad I ended up ripping this off like a band-aid because after the brain-melting explosion that was Moonlight Sins, this was a bit of a snooze-fest. This second installment read more like a traditional romance to me, which means I saw all the “twists” coming from miles away. Plus, the characters were fun—I liked Nikki and I liked Gabe and I thought they were cute together, but I didn’t love them as much as I loved Lucien and Julia. So overall this book gets a meh from me.
On the other hand, it was kind of nice getting a mental break before book three. If this had been as explosive as the first one, I may have passed out.
↬ FINAL WORD
I had fun reading this, but it wasn’t as fun as the first installment. I’m definitely here for book three though!
Nic is filling in for her mother at the de Vincent’s home. She grew up there because her parents worked for them. Gabe is the middle child and does woodwork. Nic caught Gabe at a time when he was drunk and slept with him before she left for college. He broke her heart , now four years later she’s back and planning to stay as far as possible from him. But Gabe can’t stay away from her and deep in her heart she still loves him. When accidents start to happen to Nic, is it the curse or someone wanting to get rid of her?
Excellent story with characters you don’t know whether to love or hate. Sex and suspense. This family has the worst luck and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
This one is so much better than book one! This one is about Nikki who has come back to the deVincent household to take over for her sick mother and work. Nikki left when she was 18 to go to college and but now she is back and determined to stay away from Gabriel. Oh, those two have a history…Gabe, though, is having none of that. He wants to be in Nikki’s way and plants himself in her way every chance he gets. This story is filled with lots of sexy times and steam along with a bit of mystery and some intrigue and danger to keep it going. I definitely enjoyed this one.
Thank goodness I am snowed in because I’m going in for the next one in the series!

Gabe, Gabe, Gabe. (Shakes head)
The de Vincents have always had an air about them. The intrigue. The stories. The rumors. Talks of curses. Not to mention the amount of money this old family controls. They are considered gods among men for their power, their looks, and their heritage. Everything about them screams untouchable. Inhuman. Dangerous.
Except to a little girl who grew in their shadows. Nikki was the cliche. Poor little girl following behind the rich older guy she fancied herself in love with. Desperate for attention, love, and her happily ever after. It didn’t work out that way for her and she left with her tail between her legs.
Fast forward a few years and now she’s back. Everything and nothing has changed. The rumors still exist. People still speculate. And even Nikki is beginning to believe the curse.
I love this series because it has this vibe that borders on paranormal because of the curse and the various unexplained activities. But at the same time, many of those acts are later explained. At first I thought the de Vincents were vampires. (Anne Rice vampires. Not the sparkly ones. They aren’t. At all.) Then though I’m not a believer, I started questioning my need for voodoo magic or hexes. Clearly much more is going on in this house…
And it is. It soooooo is. Lucian’s story was a lot to take in. But wow, this rollercoaster is a whole new ride. Gabe’s story has a whopper of a reveal. It has a history you wouldn’t expect. It is a whiskey neat and keep them coming kind of story. Unrequited love, a stage 5 clinger, and a undefined…something will all keep you whirling through this story is sheer disbelief, shock, and of course your guard will be up…Until you fall hard and fast for the middle de Vincent brother. It was nice knowing you!
I cannot wait to watch Dev crumble. I know. I’m assuming a lot because this is Dev but the bigger they are the harder they fall right!?!
Moonlight Scandals release is just around the corner.
A daughter of staff members of an affluent family and one of the sons in the family find love. Also the fiance of the brother of her love interest out to end her life
I read the first in series moonlight sins, and totally loved the setting , characters, and the area. I know I’ll finish the series and more by Judy
This trilogy has a soap opera feel. Gabe has a lot of things to work through. Nikki seemed to know what she was feeling. She had some professional decisions to make, but overall, she seemed centered. Gabe and Nikki were fun to watch together. It is interesting in these books that the main characters seem to be able to block out the other characters in the book so well.
