This is the third book in the De Vincent series and I have loved every second of reading this entire addictive series! You can read this without having read the prior two books, but I strongly advise reading the first two books before reading this one since these characters are previously introduced.
This is Rosie and Devlin’s story and I’ve been waiting for the chance to get to learn more about Devlin since he’s been my favorite character overall. I’ve always been a sucker for the mysterious dark ones. I loved the intense chemistry that was going on between these two and it was insanely hot! Plus there’s enough twists and turns throughout this story that kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat right up until the very end and I love when a book isn’t at all predictable!
I’ve always been a huge personal fan of this incredibly talented author and even though this isn’t my absolute favorite series of hers, it’s still pretty freaking amazing and I highly recommend reading this to anyone.
I reviewed this for Reviews from the Heart.

You guys!! Moonlight Scandals was the most amazing ending to an incredible trilogy. It tied up so many things and was just as perfect at the first two books. I at first never would have expected Devlin de Vincent and Rosie Herpin to be so well matched and suited for one another but JLA #NAILED it!! Holy crap this story was so seductive and suspenseful and their chemistry was phenomenal!! What a fantastic conclusion to this outstanding series!
Without giving away any spoilers, Moonlight Scandals continues the ongoing storyline in the previous De Vincent books and addresses all the unanswered questions we’ve had from book one. But this author could never have prepared us for the shocking bombshells she legit dropped on our heads in a one-two combo that left me flailing. I absolutely adored this book and the fiery chemistry Rosie and Dev had. Their banter was FIRE and their passion and connection was undeniable. I loved that they both represented second chances for each other to love and live life again instead of being chained to their painful pasts. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula
As the third novel in the de Vincent series, this enemies to lovers romance was riveting, humorous while emotional, and o so sexy. The main character’s banter was wrought with tension and utterly enjoyable. Moonlight Scandals will keep you laughing and on the edge of your seat throughout, all the while attempting to make sense of the intricate plot. When you think you know where the story is headed, think again. Moonlight Scandals won’t reveal her secrets, not until the very end.
After dealing with life’s crushing blows and coming out on the other side, Rosie Herpin does her best to take life in stride. As a paranormal investigator she knows there aren’t always second chances in life and we’re only guaranteed right now. After a chance meeting with a stranger turns out to a meeting with “the devil” himself, the enigmatic Devlin de Vincent, Rosie’s life takes another abrupt turn. Devlin is Rosie’s complete and utter opposite. He’s both rich and powerful; closed off and guarded, and much to Rosie’s frustration – undeniably handsome. However nice to look at, Devlin is anything but nice, and to least of all Rosie. Early on in life he learned trust was a weapon. Always sure to have a practiced and unreadable mask in place, he appears incapable of any semblance of human emotion. Other than the anger and irritation he often shows that is. Long before Devlin met Rosie, he resigned himself to a life serving his family and protecting his brothers from the painful secrets that haunt him. Their chance meeting in a cemetery set off a chain of unavoidable events, pushing the two together. Will the supposed curse following the de Vincent legacy and dark secrets bring their empire crashing down? Read Moonlight Scandals by Jennifer L. Armentrout today and unravel the mystery!
I truly, truly enjoyed this book. Jennifer L. Armentrout employs exceptional world and character development. The mystery and suspense was so intriguing and all encompassing that I read this book nearly straight through. Barring life’s inevitable responsibilities, I absolutely would have, and devoured page after riveting page. I loved Rosie’s self assured persona, and viewpoint on right vs. wrong. I couldn’t help but love her straight from the beginning. Devlin’s dark and jaded character is one of my favorite types of heros. The deeper I delved into his story, the more and more I loved his quiet brokenness. There’s absolutely something for everyone to love in Moonlight Scandals. Enemies to lovers, romantic suspense, paranormal events, mystery and intrigue, what more could you need? Dive into the world of the de Vincent series today! Enjoy xo
Rosie Herpin is a young widow who investigates ghostly happenings. Living in New Orleans, there are lots of haunted houses including the one owned by one of the most powerful families . When someone she doesn’t know contacts her during a personal reading things start to get spooky.
Devlin de Vincent knows exactly what money can buy, but also the lengths people will go to, to cause trouble for his family. He trusts no-one and will protect his brothers with his life, even if it’s from other family members.
An interesting and sexy mystery with spooky undertones. A brave and confident heroine and an arrogant hero who has shut all his softer feelings away.
This is part of a series but easily read on it’s own.
An enjoyable story.
This is my first Jennifer Armentrout ARC but not my first book. I was so ecstatic when I got an email stating that I was one of the lucky ones to receive an advance copy.
I didn’t read the blurb! At first I thought this book is a paranormal romance but no. I started reading it late at night and you can imagine the thoughts that went in my head—thinking about poltergeists and other ghostly apparitions! It’s a love story with a unique twist… so many twist as a matter of fact!
It talks about superstitious beliefs, the sacrifices one makes for the love of family… about physical and mental abuse… it also talked about the abuse of power and trying to play God… and also about finding love when you least expect it and discovering how stubborn the heart is…
This is part of a 3-book series but you can read this as a standalone. I haven’t read the first two books, so I need to catch up.
I definitely love the main characters! I think they’re awesome… there’s nothing like a story about a quirky, candid heroine breaking down the walls of a privileged, reticent j€rkwÅd.
This book took me by surprise. I really enjoyed reading about Devlin and Rosie’s journey. I definitely recommend!
I received and ARC of Moonlight Scandals in exchange of an honest review.
I’m in a group on Facebook where ARC readers discuss all things Jennifer. People kept posting OMG chapter 19, then it turned in to OMG chapter 32. These chapters became a bit famous, so of course I sped read to get to them.
Y’all. I OMG’d with them. The proverbial poo hits the fan! Then again. And again.
This is by far my favorite Moonlight novel. Plot twist and scary vibes are my jam, especially when a bit of paranormal is sprinkled on top.
Amazing! We finally get to see behind Devlin’s impassive demeanor. And it was a hot bed of repressed emotions that Rosie was able to set free. I love a quirky heroine, and Rosie owned her weirdness. I did have an inkling of one of the twists , but another one came out of left field! Superb ending to the trilogy.
This book is the perfect ending to the series. And my favorite by far.
Just when I thought that JLA couldn’t possibly top the last book, she goes and proves me wrong.
I have to confess, I had a thing for Dev since he first appeared on book 1, and I have eagerly waited for his book. It did not disappoint.
This book is everything I wanted and more.
Full of twists and surprises, the sexiness we have come to know from any of JLA books and then some.
Fantastic read. Highly recommend.

Review:
I’m really impressed with this book. If you’d told me this one, Dev’s one ended up being my favorite, I wouldn’t have believed you, but here we are. The other books in this series where good, I enjoyed reading them, but this one, is amazing! It’s so so good.
I laughed my ass of and what I find even more impressive I did not for the live of me saw those twist coming. Normally I can guess, or have a feeling something is gonna turn out in a certain way, but not this one.
What is this book about:
I can’t really tell you how this book begins because it gives away some thing. I can tell you what this book is about. This book is the third in the De Vincent series and focuses on the eldest of the brothers, the devil aka devlin.
Dev’s the one that everyone’s scared of. The one that never smiles or hardly shows any emotions. That changed when he met Rosie. Rosie surprised him by calling him out on his bullshit, argued with him and didn’t seem remotely scared or even impressed by him. Their banter is hilarious.
Rosie is a smart, hard working, ghost hunter. You hear me, she is a ghost hunter. Together with her coworkers/friends they chase ghosts, and help people get rid of haunting in their homes/lives.
They do say the de Vincent house is haunted and its inhabitants cursed. But that isn’t the only thing that attracts Rosie to the de Vincents. No, as much as she doesn’t want to admit it, she wants more from the de Vincents than a look in their house, she wants Dev, eventhough she absolutely hates him.
What did I like about this book:
I absolutely loved this book. It was so incredibly good. I loved Rosie. She is a strong, steady, and hilarious character. I loved how she never backed down, how she spoke her mind. Her one liners made me laugh and snort so much my family must have thought I was crazy. It’s been a while a book made me laugh so much.
I loved Rosie and Dev’s banter. I also fell in love with Dev, something that I didn’t expect would happen!
Out of the three, this book is definitely my favorite!

Moonlight Scandals: A de Vincent Novel (de Vincent series Book 3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout is spicy! You’re definitely going to want to pre-order this one. There are 3 De Vincent brothers; Lucian, Gabe, and Devlin. Lucian and Gabe each had their story told, and now we hear from Devlin. I loved Lucian and Gabe, for sure, but Devlin is where it’s at! Devlin is a mystery waiting to be unraveled. He keeps himself hidden and everyone else much farther than arm’s length. While the other brothers are living their best lives and not letting anything stand in their way, Devlin stays in the shadows and harbors many secrets. If there’s a problem, Devlin is going to fix it. He will do what is necessary without blinking an eye. But then Rosie walks into his life and changes everything. Not only do we get to see inside the mind of the dark, dangerous, and reclusive Devlin, but there is one hell of a twist that I guarantee you will not see coming. This book is one part “HOLY HOTNESS” with a side of “OMG!! DID THAT JUST HAPPEN!?!?” I give this book 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!
