There are many murder attempts going on around the house by an invisible ghost! They have to stop it before someone gets killed, but the ghost won’t be summoned by Moody! This book is another great book of a captivating series!
The author keeps you engrossed in the story and Moody goes at it with the investigation as new information about Caspian’s past comes to light. Recommended wholeheartedly
If you love a good paranormal story with lots of twist and turns and time travel and hopeless Love… then this is your go to book.. You need to read the first 4 books before this one cause they’re all spectacular.. and you won’t want to miss a single event that leads up to this book.. You won’t regret it..
This book starts where the previous book ends. My strong recommendation is to read all the books in the series in order. If you’re like me, you’ll be glad you did. I won’t say how the book starts because it would ruin the ending of book 4 for you.
I love these characters. I love the story line. I might have once thought a story like this is hokey, but I must say this series works. Bryndle and Caspian are as hot for each other as they have been in the previous books. Too bad he’s a ghost.
Bryndle and her team continue to work on other haunted venues so that part of the story continues as well.
Highly recommend this book and the rest of the previous books in the series.
This picks up with Caspian and Bryndle time traveling together back to 1850’s entering into the kitchen of Cove House, except this time Bryndle isn’t Rachel. Caspian can be seen and heard by Jacqueline, but Bryndle, who can be heard, is thankful that she can’t be seen in her Twigs & Pully.
We learn more about the night of Caspian’s death and Jacqueline’s aid to Rachel.
Meanwhile, during the present time, Jacqueline is having fun terrorizing everyone at Cove House. Bryndle and Caspian make a deal with Jacqueline, which involves finding a prized personal belonging of Jacqueline’s, in the hopes of vanquishing her to the beyond for good.
The team is called to get rid of a ghost haunting a kitchen. This ghost has ties to Bryndle.
Another wonderful read that gives more background information along with quite a bit of humor, intriguing twists, and leaving a surprise ending with more questions. If you enjoy paranormal, you will want to read this! Fantastic series!
I received an ARC and I voluntarily reviewed this book!

Author Kim Hornsby has created a series that is truly worth reading from Book 1. Each book in the series builds on the complexity of a blind woman who can connect with ghosts and then develops a personal relationship with a sea captain from the 1850s. The pair time travel to where their lives blend with history and the present and their visibility and reality are challenged.
There’s plenty of colorful storytelling, humor, relationship building, and believability that envelops the reader to keep turning the pages! The door is left open in anticipation of future books in the series.
