A drifter and a single mom meet by chance… or was it their destiny?Shelley Bennett has had a rough time of it. When she gave her heart to the father of her child, she never thought it would end in heartache. Now raising a child by herself, they settle in Bozeman where she opens a stationery shop, Rock Paper Scissors. When a drifter enters her shop inquiring about the help wanted ad and has a … help wanted ad and has a skill she’s looking for, she decides to take a chance, and hire him.

When he stops in Bozeman, he never dreams it would be for more than a night or two. He sees the help wanted sign hanging in the window and steps inside to inquire. It might be time to put down some stakes.

This is another sweet romance from Debbie White. Two very different people brought together by circumstances. Skip is a drifter and Shelley is a business owner. Skip needs a job and Shelley needs an engraver. Skip is used to drifting. Can he be content to stay in one place for Shelley and Billy? This is a heartwarming story! I love this book and this series! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
I received an advance copy of this book and I voluntarily wrote an honest review.
A wonderful story of two conflicted people who work through various dramatic issues . After several set backs they eventually get their HEA.
This is a sweet, caring and romantic story that can be read by anyone. Single mother, delightful little boy and working every day to make a good life. The book got even better when Skip walked into her life and Thanksgiving was the family miracle as the grandparents arrived in Bozeman. I loved the book and can highly recommend it for a great afternoon read.
Montana Miracle is a romantic story of two, lost souls with their own issues, finding their paths cross unexpectedly and how they work through their conflicts to find the one thing they both desire, love and family. Shelley Bennett is a wonderful character who is a single mom to Billy. Skip Morrison is an ex Green Beret suffering from PTSD and trying to make a life for himself after being discharged.
I liked how the story seemed very realistic and how Shelley and her parents were able to reconcile after many years of no communication. I liked that Skip and Shelley were able to help others who were just trying to keep their feet on the ground with what life had given them. Wonderful story and wonderful characters. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Faith, hope and charity go a long way. Montana Miracle is a tale of two hearts working their way back to being whole. White delivers sage wisdom, wrapped inside of a few teardrops, sprinkled with a ton of heart. Shelley and Skip were halfway to healing when my heart dropped in for the ride.
Shelley Bennett is a single mother of a 5 year old son. She is trying to make it on her own since Billy’s father abandoned her. She is the owner of a stationery shop, Rock, Scissors, Paper. Shelly’s business is doing well, but she really needs an engraver…the engraving orders are piling up.
Skip Morrison is a former green beret. He is suffering from PTSD and has been drifting from town to town unable to stay in one place for long. When he sees the Help Wanted sign in the window of Rock, Scissors, Paper, he decides to apply for the job. Shelley desperately needs an engraver, so she decides to take a chance on hiring Skip.
Ms White has written a charming story about an unlikely romance. Shelley and Skip will find their way into your heart.
This delightful holiday romance brings wounded hearts together and healing of relationships. Shelley has her hands full managing her little boy with anger issues, running her store and keeping her act together. When Skip wanders into her shop looking for work, she recognises a drifter when she sees one, but a spark of intuition has her offering him a position as her engraver. Not that he knows anything about engraving, but she does know someone that can teach him. Despite suffering from PTSD, Skip brings a new element into Shelley and Billy’s lives, engendering a sense of wholeness and togetherness. He also supports Shelley in bridging the gap between her and her parents. The story is generally well written, clean and brings together all the elements of Christmas that bring joy and reconciliation. One experiences Shelley’s anxiety as a single mother, and even Billy’s frustration at being different. Although one could feel sorry for Skip, he shows that he has the strength of character to overcome the past. Quincy’s machinations backfire and one can only chuckle at the way in which the small band of misfits come together and form a nucleus that stands together. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Montana Miracle is a sweet romance about a man with PTSD and a single mom who owns a stationery story. Shelley and Skip both have problems to overcome. Will they be able to help each other? This book emphasizes the need to lend a helping hand, belief in others, communication and having faith. I was drawn into this story right at the beginning and was sorry to reach the end.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Skip having to learn how to deal with his PTSD and function in civilian life. How Shelley and her son Billy deal with the struggle they have and how it all comes together in the story. A good series and all standalone reads.
