Bought the whole series. Great read!
Really enjoyed the characters and story. I had to read the whole series.
Goodness this story will not disappoint any reader. Ella James never disappoints with the characters she creates. Reading while i commute this story makes the time fly by.
Joe (Kujo) Kuntz was in the military one day and the next day he is out. Injured and depressed, he hides out in a shack. Yet his friends find him. Why? Six, the dog he trained with, has been injured is now not adoptable. Either he takes on Six or his life will be over. Now they are going to have to train together again. Molly Greenbriar is an FBI agent. She has been an analyst but wanting to do field work. She finally talks her boss into looking for a terrorist group on Montana. Not only does she find them, but she has hooked up with a military protection service. In the process, Molly and Joe seems to have found each other.
I love the Brotherhood Protectors, former military they grab my heart. This book takes that love a step further and adds a military working dog. Oh my heartstrings!
Joe ‘Kujo’ Kuntz has hidden himself away from the world, when he was medically discharged he lost his career, his friends and his dog. He’s about to start a new project when Bear and Duke show up with the news that his dog Six was up for adoption but has issues that caused him to be returned a couple of times. They also offered him a job with Brotherhood Protectors. Not that Joe was having any of it, well until he thought about it.
Okay so I was sniffling and hadn’t even made it to root of the story.
FBI agent Molly Greenbriar is using a drone to search for evidence of a terrorist training camp in the Crazy Mountains near Eagle Rock. When she runs into trouble it’s Six who finds her and Joe who gets her to safety.
Assigned to keep her safe, they quickly begin to make connections both for the job and personally.
A fast-paced, action packed, emotional, and sizzling read.
I am already starting the next book in this series, I just might be addicted.
Molly is a FBI agent sent on her first field assignment. She goes to the mountains of Montana looking for a terrorist trading camp. When her drone gets shot down and she is chased by a guy on a four wheeler, she jumps off and rolls off a cliff and lands behind some boulders. Kujo is former Delta Force and was hurt when a bomb exploded near him. He has a bad leg and TBI, so he has lived up in the mountains for three years. When some of his buddies show up and convince him to go work with them at a security company and rescue his service dog before he’s put to sleep. Now he’s getting ready to start a new job when he and Six find Molly pretty banged up. He takes her to his cabin and fixes her up and tries to keep his hands to himself. When it becomes obvious Molly is in danger, Kujo becomes her protector, along with Six. They both look into the training camp but when Molly gets taken, can Kujo get to her in time?
Steamy, action, and nail biting suspense. The ending just sort of ended, there was very little build up to it.
Montana Dog Soldier by Elle James is a phenomenal military/security services romance. Ms. James has provided readers with a stellar cast of characters. Joe, aka Kujo, was injured in an explosion and forced out of the military. FBI agent Molly is investigating a possible terrorist camp in the Crazy Mountains. Kujo and Molly’s story is loaded with action, suspense, humor and sizzle. This book will capture your attention and keep you reading from cover to cover. I loved reading Montana Dog Solider and look forward to reading more from Elle James soon. Montana Dog Soldier is book 6 of the Brotherhood Protector Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A wonderful story of two wounded warriors who help each other (one is a dog) and the woman who helps give them hope and purpose. This whole series is wonderful.
Another fantastic book. Kujo suffered shaprnel for a war injury and as a handler had to leave Six (war dog) behind with a new handler. Molly is an FBI agent sent to check on rumors of an ISIS group around Crazy Mountain near Bear Creek. She gets a little too close and ends up have Kujo rescue her and ends up being her bodyguard. There’s love scenes but also plenty of action. Loved this book.
