Mia Zabrinski’s lost enough– her marriage. Her job. Her body image. Mia is ready to rebuild her life in her hometown of Marietta,Montana, and she’s damned if she’ll let some stranger camp on her land and claim squatter’s rights.
Ryker Bensen doesn’t have much– and that suits him fine. Less than a year ago, he had everything: a beautiful girlfriend, a baby on the way, a career that earned him … earned him fame and a very comfortable living…until he didn’t. When beautiful Mia shows up and orders him off what she says is her land, Ryker realizes she might be the spark he needed to jumpstart his interest in living again.

Liked the second chance storyline.
A great story of survival and finding true love!
As always the characters of Marietta Montanan are interesting no matter which author it is
Love the characters in her books and the depth.
Good book. Simple reading and fun to follow.
It was a good romance
It captured me on page one and I couldn’t put it down.
Great book !
I totally enjoyed this book. Of course, it is set in Marietta which is a pretty good hint that I’ll like it. But, the Zabrinski’s are an interesting family. I could relate to the teens after divorce. I liked the relationships. I liked the romance.
A strong, independent woman hits a series of road blocks. Breast cancer, land lost for her dream home, and a husband who left her for a younger woman. To top her list, she meets and falls for a younger man. A nice story and well worth reading. It’s a keeper for me and goes in my re-read pile.
The author did a great job of developing the characters and drawing me into their lives. I really enjoyed this story. It is part of a series but can be read independently.
Light reading.
Enjoyed it and want to read the series.
I could not get into this book so i quit reading it.
I really liked this book. My sister went through nearly the same thing: breast cancer, divorce, moving her home and kids to another state. I’m glad it was a happy ending!
Enjoyed it.
not well written
Overcoming
Mia has had to deal with breast cancer, betrayal & divorce. But she has come out stronger moved bay to Montana to be near family & raise her kids. But now she has a squatter on her land. Ryker was on his land his dad bought when thee were kids. Little did theory now is was the same land. Can love come from friends.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The authoress made the characters believable. The dialogue was well written and believable as well.
It was ok, jut not my cup of tea.
