Is she restoring “this old house” or reimagining her future with the man she left behind?Man down. When “Diamond” Jim McCall gambles on a fixer-upper for sentimental reasons, his house of cards implodes – along with his health. Ruby’s ready for a job change but agreeing to become her first crush’s apprentice might be her biggest mistake. After all, Boone Fielding became the son her father never had when she left for college.
Man up.
Helping Ruby McCall and her sisters flip Diamond Jim’s “money pit” makes sense financially, but he can’t partner with someone he doesn’t trust – and Boone hasn’t forgotten his last close encounter with Ruby. But every day on the job reminds him of why he fell in love with her in the first place.
How is he ever going to let her go when the job is done?

Brand new series that begins with daughter coming home to talk to her parents. Normal right. Yea well not so much when you realize that the when the daughter left for college years before she left behind her high school boyfriend Boone who now works side by side with her dad. Oh it gets better because life is funny like that and she likes to throw things at ya like anxiety attacks at her dad on the day Ruby comes home. So Boone and Ruby end up running the show, together. Oh boy this is something else in itself. Oh Yes I forgot the Money Pit. You have to read that believe it. I really enjoyed this second chance romance but not only that it is about 3 sisters and family…lots of families and how they treat each other. I am so looking forward to the next book and the following one already as well. I can tell from teasers through this one the two sisters are going to be so much fun when they find their men too
Ruby and Boone’s second chance story in Montana Blueprint for Love by Debra Salonen, book one in her new Property Sisters series is a wonderful take on reclaiming the one that got away. On the day Ruby McCall returns home, fired from her job, her dad health takes a hit and a secret project he had been working on becomes Ruby’s problem. It seems his dad purchased a fixer-upper for sentimental reasons, not financial, and this acquisition could bankrupt them. Summit Construction no longer belongs to only the McCalls, Boone Fielding bought half the company and is now a partner and the son her dad always wanted. Ruby and Boone were in love before Ruby left for college and Boone’s father died, forcing him to stay in Marietta and take care of his mother. Boone offers to let Ruby apprentice with him as they flip the derelict ranch house and save Summit Construction, but it just might cost both of them their hearts. Boone has no problem helping Ruby and her sisters flip the “money pit” but he distrusts Ruby and believes he can’t partner with her. When some secret meddling, from their past, becomes public, Boone and Ruby discover how their earlier relationship and break-up was manipulated by the adults in their life, not each other. Working every day on the job reminds each of them why they originally fell in love. Not only is the attraction between these two still there, their chemistry is off the charts and the electricity between them could light up the work site. Boone and Ruby never lost the love they once had; it was in hibernation until they were together again.
Ms. Salonen wrote a wonderful second chance story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, laughs, and charming characters giving Ruby and Boone a chance to reclaim their forever love. I highly recommend Montana Blueprint for Love to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
What a fun read. The descriptions were great. I wanted to move into that house!!
I love the Marietta series of books. Every book pulls you into the story of this wonderful town.
A wonderful story! A fun storyline and interesting characters. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
A daughter leaves her job to return home to do construction work with fmily. She renews an old love. A new beginning for whole family.
Boone Fielding is on course to take over Summit Construction in the future but in the mean time he’s split partners with Ruby’s father Jim. When Ruby returns to town after losing her job she decides she wants to take back up in her passion of working for her families business, Summit Construction. Absolutely loved Boone and Ruby’s story! Can’t wait to read the next in this Property Sisters set!
I enjoyed this book very much. It has an interesting story and wonderful characters. It is a stand alone, but has characters and a good story line to lead into the next 2 books. You can follow the characters in this book with a continuing storyline in the next 2 books.
Wanted this book to continue! Loved the characters and their stories.
Very good read without too much explicit sex . Second chances are a favorite of mine.
Good read!
It was a good love story without steamy sex.
This is a great book with fun characters and I love the connections with the sisters and family. Look forward to the next one.
Awesome book. Awesome writer.
Romance delayed due to parental interference – 12 years! Wow. I didn’t think it needed to take that long. Other than that, I really enjoyed this story. I liked the twist near the end. I found the dad’s concussion a stretch.
The sisters are awesome people. He is an awesome man. I like women in construction. I like how intricate and complex the story and ending are. Very good writing. Well written sexual chemistry.
MONTANA BLUEPRINT FOR LOVE is the first book in Debra Solanen’s new Property Sisters of Montana series set in the fictional town of Marietta, Montana. After losing her job, Ruby McCall heads home to Marietta with a plan. She’s never been happy in her job and plans to convince her father to let her work with him at his construction company. The only downside would be working with Boone, her first love. When an unexpected health problem sidelines her Dad, Ruby and her sisters need Boone’s help to save the construction company. Boone is in the process of buying half of the construction company, when he discovers it’s on the brink of disaster. Working with Ruby and her sisters isn’t ideal, but saving the company is Boone’s top priority. As the two work together to remodel the “money pit,” they navigate a relationship as adults, with the hurts of the past simmering below the surface. Can this new partnership be the second chance for the two of them?
Ruby and Boone were such an interesting and fun couple with such a deep history. I loved learning the family ties of Ruby and Boone, as well as interactions and mentions of characters from previous novels. It is always so much fun to visit Marietta and its townspeople. It’s like catching up with old friends.
This novel was a great introduction to the new series, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Thank you to the Publisher for the advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed Montana Blueprint for Love and am eagerly awaiting book 2. This promises to be a very entertaining series. Ruby’s parents have always pushed her to not work in the family remodeling business. But when Ruby loses her job, returns home and asks to work for her dad, his health scare lands him in the hospital. Ruby and her sisters, together with Boone step up to see if they can save the company. This well written book is that journey – as well as Ruby and Boone’s second chance at love. Do not miss out on this heart warming tale.
I always enjoy revisiting Marietta.

This is a super cute story by Debra Salonen, starting off her new series, Property Sisters Of Montana. Can’t wait to see how the other two stories play out.
This is a fun read there are a lot of characters introduced and backstories told as is normal with a first in series but it has plenty of potential to be a great fun
