This story has elements of mystery, threats, danger, and love. Displaying not only 2 mother’s love for their children but, also the gripping sadness that each family suffered. It is great how all these elements were woven together in the wonderful story of the Calhoun family and Charlie, the stranger who changed their family forever! Loved this book!
I couldn’t put it down
A great happily ever after story!
This storylinewas afresh idea leading to well deserved happily ever after,Unlike so many stories that seem to simpley repeat other tried and true romance themes. thiswas a gentle ,protectiveand loving man, which always goes directly to my heart, and I believe most women will agree ithose are terrific qualities to be rolled up intoone strong beautiful hunk o a man.
Loved this book
Good romantic story about a young woman who needs to find her way in the world with her 3 month old baby. She meets a young man who is drawn to her through concern for her and also attracted. Cute love story without all the swearing and graphic sex that is so prevalent in similar stories.
Good
Loved it! The characters and how they battle their personal demons draws you in, and makes you root for them to finally let go and find happiness.
This is the first book I have read of this author. It was easy to read. For Charlie it was a chance to redeem herself, to show she was a loving mother to her child Zoe and show her design talents. As for Chase, where do you go to find guys so loving and caring as he is? A book about a family, the kind you want to be a part of and the other kind of family, where nothing is important except if you are winning. I will be looking for more books by this author.
Chase Calhoun is a wonderful man that is the oldest of 6 children close together and helped his dad raise them after is mom died in an accident. He takes care of everyone. Charlotte, Charlie, ran away from her very, very controlling, wealthy father cause he told her she was going to adopt out her 3 month old daughter. Chase finds them in his family’s shop attic and helps her. Great story!! A standalone with an HEA!! No language and very little sex. Refreshing!!
God chase is just dreamy. Lol. Swoon. He is just the care taker, the ones to shelter everyone around them. And he is drawn to Charlie and Zoe. They just fit together. Loved the Calhoun family. They are a cohesive adorable unit. With their teasing and bantering. It’s all in love. I loved how much they all wanted to help Charlie with Zoe. Her father is evil. Pure and simple and only out for himself. Ronan seems to be slightly redeemable. Only because it seems like he was a puppet. And racing dose require a lot of intel from your team in the heat of driving. He was steamed in wrong directions so to speak in more ways than one. Loved the ending.
Running Scared
Charlie made it to Montana with her daughter Zoe but couldn’t stay where she was at first due to get dad’s PI chasing her, that’s how she ended up in Big Fork. Chase is letting all his siblings know about his dad’s Parkinson. But when they meet it a great chance.
Sensitive story about a woman on the run from a very nasty father and the man who gives her a chance to stand on her own two feet. Sex implied but no foul language. Engaging storyline and well worth adding to your reading list.
Would enjoy finishing the series
So very sweet and romantic. Love the Calhouns. They are a great family unit. I love how quickly they accepted Charlie. And the HEA is truly a awe moment.
Great story, very well told.
good story good romance. easy to read
I really enjoyed this book. The story line was a little different.. It is one I am keeping to reread when I want a nice happily ever after story
I really enjoyed reading about Chase (a swoon worthy good guy) whose world is thrown upside down when Charlotte lands in town on the run from a rebellious past.
I liked the setting. It was unusual and fun to see her put her talent to use on the vehicles. the idea of her father selling her baby was shocking and added intrique
