After Monsterland has imploded, the entire world is thrown into chaos. World leadership is gone, economies have collapsed, and communications are non-existent. Wyatt must go beyond the boundaries of his small town to reestablish contact with the outside world, and alert the government about a traitor-in-chief. During his journey he discovers a new threat released from the bowels of the defunct … bowels of the defunct theme park.
When an army of relentless mummies, a life-sucking ooze called The Glob, and a hybrid reanimated Behemoth rise from the depths of Monsterland, who will survive?

“…a gripping story with a Jurassic Park vibe…he manages to explore social and political structures that make the unbelievable story of a theme park where one can walk among the zombies and be chased by werewolves, feel fairly believable.” – Bianca Schulze, Book Reviewer

Monsterland Reanimated
By: Michael Okon
*REVIEW*
Typically, I don’t read horror, but Monsterland and Monsterland Reanimated are a different sort of horror. Yes, it’s gory and graphic, but this story is fun, too. I read both stories back to back, but this review is just for the second book. Basically a continuous story, Reanimated picks up where the first stopped-the aftermath of the Monsterland catastrophe. It’s over, or is it? Wyatt and friends are trying to contact the outside world, but there are no methods of communication left. On this journey, they encounter monsters once again. This story is so bizarre, in a good way, and it’s fun to read with a great entertainment value. I read this one quickly because it’s fast paced and well written in a way that flows quite smoothly. Wyatt, and the others, grow up and learn a lot. The character development is excellent. I found this a realistic, genuine and quirky cast of characters. Reanimated is unpredictable and crazy, but I enjoyed reading this story. I recommend for horror enthusiasts, but even if you don’t normally like horror, give this one a try. You might be pleasantly surprised!
I think I really like this book!! It is the third time I’ve read it and again could not stop until the very last sentence! I was very happy to read there will be a third book in this series–you know I will be grabbing, reading it and reviewing it! This can be read as a stand alone but I do suggest you read Monsterland-the first in this series (I read that one twice)
Michael Okon (nom du plume Michael Phillip Cash has been a favorite author of mine for a very long time now. He is a word master and can have you visualizing the story as if you were really there–of course since he writes mostly paranormal, thriller, horror and action/adventure–get ready for chills and thrills galore!!
I really enjoyed the first installment from Michael Okon’s Monsterland series, also, called Monsterland. So, I was excited to get my hands on the following up to it, Monsterland Reanimated. I highly recommend for readers to begin the series from the beginning so they can get a better grasp with what is going on. I do not think it would work well as a stand alone.
Monsterland Renanimated continues with high school Wyatt Baldwin trying to save the world from the monsters. I once again had to strap myself down to enjoy this wild thrill of a tale. It is action packed with a few twists and turns I did not expect or did not see coming. This time around he encounters more than he thought possible. He goes on quite the adventure to try to find help and his journey brings on more horror. Behemoths and The Glob are the last things he wanted to deal with right now. After reading the first book, I learned the author’s writing style and was able to read this one in just a few hours. I thought it was better and more entertaining, if that is possible.
Monsterland Reanimated is getting five plus stars from me. I was excited to find out that there will be a third addition to the Monsterland series. I look forward to when that one releases to see what will happen next. I recommend this one for readers who enjoy science fiction and stories that involve fictional monsters.
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
