Blessed. That was me.In every way that mattered anyway. I had a close, loving relationship with my parents, my older brother was my hero, and with graduation right around the corner, I was on the verge of turning my love of photography into a career. Then there was Carter, surprisingly he turned out to be the yin to my yang. Where I was alternative, slightly nerdy and a whole lot awkward, Carter … awkward, Carter was smooth, popular and confidant. Yet somehow, we fit. Or so I thought.
With the events of one night, the clarity with which I once saw my life vanished. Leaving me completely unprepared for the reality I would now have to face and the choices that accompanied it.

Instant love……
This is what Moments Of Clarity was for me.
I couldn’t put it down. It totally consumed me. I was completely spell bound from beginning to end. Just brilliant.
We meet Chance and Carter.
Chance is quirky, nerdy, sassy, all things awkward and very unique.
Carter is a football star, self assured, confident and all things delicious.
Two complete opposites.
And their worlds are about to collide.
They have chemistry.
They have spark.
Together they are explosive.
But what happens when situations change?
What happens when choices are made?
Will Chance be able to support Carter?
Can Carter give what Chance needs?
Will they survive the reality of their worlds and the changes in them?
Or will it destroy them both?
Guys this novel is nothing short of sheer brilliance. It’s raw, gritty, highly emotional, witty and breathtakingly beautiful.
It was instant love for both of these characters.
Chance and her quirkiness.
Carter and his cheeky “I take what I want” attitude.
And lets not forget Mase, Bells, Scout, Kass and Hux.
Guys you will fall hard for them all, just like I did.
Moments Of Clarity is perfection.
A definite MUST read.
5 stars
First off, I loved this book. This is the 2nd book of the series and it is the story of Chance and Carter. Carter is of course hot alpha male and Chance is a quirky nerdy girl. I am in love with both. Awesome story line that got me sucked in, so much so I binged read it now I’m sad I’m done.
What do you get if you put a quirky, nerdy, sassy girl with a cocky, self assured football jock?
Moments of Clarity completely captivated me from beginning to end, and left me wanting more.
I loved the sizzle between Chance and Carter, that instant connection. There’s something amazing that happens when opposites attract, an extra zing to an already fierce attractive
This story is beautiful, sweet, and a healthy dose of sass and I cannot recommend it enough.
Favorite Quotes:
The best seduction technique I have at my disposal is my extreme awkwardness. Who needs flirty when you’ve got awkward, right?
It’s hilarious. Mr. Perfect wants Ms. Awkward. It’s comedy gold. I mean, seriously, how is that going to work? Are you even capable of carrying on a conversation with a hot guy without divulging something horrifically embarrassing, or rambling about weird facts that only you care about?
So what, you’re getting into matchmaking now? Running the paper doesn’t tickle your pickle anymore so you thought you’d dip your toes in Cupid’s pool?
‘Mumma, Papa, this is Carter,’ she says, while gesturing over her shoulder with her thumb to me, ‘He’s my super hot boyfriend with a spectacular arse.’ I choke on the air I’m breathing, coughing and trying not to laugh. Then I hear a voice similar to Chance’s, but older, more sophisticated, say, ‘Well, turn around then, show us the goods.’
My Review:
Moments of Clarity was populated by unique and quirky characters, ah, my favorite kind. I enjoyed their amusing descriptions, interplay, steamy chemistry, odd fashion sense, and witty banter. Then the family secrets blew open and damn if it wasn’t angst by the bucket – a fest of misery and emotional tension, which is just not my favorite cup of tea. I cringed, winced, flinched, sighed but stayed the course, as I trusted the author to circle back around and make it worth the agony. And, thankfully, she did.
