When Mephisto’s friend Clayton is called out of town on business, he agrees to look after his slave for the week. But Molly isn’t your average slave. She and Clayton share a serious, full time dynamic. Mephisto feels a weight of responsibility he isn’t used to, and worse, an intense attraction to Molly, the partner of his friend.
Mephisto is determined to sublimate his inappropriate desires and … desires and provide a challenging and instructive week for the devoted slave. He subjects Molly to orgasm denial, speech restriction, scenes of erotic torment, even an orgy where she is made to service his friends. Along the way, he experiences unfamiliar jealousy, and deep cravings to possess her himself.
Throughout the week, he is also haunted by persistent questions. Is she happy being a 24/7 slave? Or is there another Molly trapped beneath her submissive, surrendered gaze?
If you’ve read Club Mephisto, you know this story from Molly’s perspective. Now, prepare to relive the experience from Mephisto’s point of view…
Publisher’s Note: this 32K-word erotic novella depicts “total power exchange” relationships that some readers may find objectionable, as well as sado-masochism, objectification, orgasm denial and speech restriction, caging, anal play and double penetration, BDSM punishment and discipline, M/f, M/m/f, M/m, orgy and group sexual encounters, and voyeurism. This is a retelling of the book Club Mephisto from the dominant point of view.

Book #2 in the Mephisto Series, Molly’s Lips, chronicles dungeon master Mephisto’s POV of his week-long visit from Molly, the slave girl of his friend, Clayton. Molly’s POV of her visit was told in book #1, Club Mephisto. Having read that, I was eager to see how it all looked from Mephisto’s side of the tale.
It was a revealing view of both protagonists. There were enticing glimpses of a very captivating woman when, occasionally, Molly would allow herself to let down her walls for brief moments. Although Mephisto knew Molly before she had even met Clayton, I don’t think Mephisto himself was aware that he had long carried a hidden ember of love for her. He told himself he didn’t believe in love. And he also seemed to feel that the responsibility for a 24/7 slave would be too burdensome. Nonetheless, this hidden ember burned a little brighter each day Molly spent with him. The knowledge that Clayton would return soon for her seemed to weigh a little heavier on Mephisto each day as well.
I still want to know why such an intelligent and attractive woman would gather up all she is as a person and turn the whole bundle over to a Master? There has to be a monumental reason why she would reject her own gifts, her inner beauty, her personhood in favor of complete servitude to someone. She acted as though she could not bear to think of life without her Master, Clayton. Mephisto seemed to accept this as assurance that she was happy; but was she? To each, their own. But I couldn’t do it.
As I mentioned in my review of Club Mephisto, this author’s writing skills are highly accomplished. Her adept way of developing a character is evident in Molly’s Lips as well. I would not think it easy to show one side of a character, and then to show you another side you weren’t expecting to see; yet the whole of the character remains consistent and is so well-written. I’m going on to read book #3, Burn For You. For me, Molly’s Lips was 4-star+.
Strong BDSM and a true D/s relationship. Clayton leaves Molly with Mephisto for a week. This is Mephisto’s take on the week. Read Club Mephisto to read Molly’s view. Can’t wait to read book 3. I want to truth about Clayton. And do Molly and Mephisto find happiness together.
I really like the story, so re-reading it was inevitable, and it was nice to see if the viewpoint of Mephisto was what it seemed from Molly’s viewpoint. For the most part it was, just a few differences, but that only illustrated Molly’s depth
I liked Molly’s side much better, adjusting to someone is so much more interesting than the one being in charge – but a few things where a surprise, though only because the expectation from Molly on the thought process was more when it really was just what it was
Still a fascinating story!!
