Historical fiction. Eye opening examples of the effects of war on both men and women. While it held my interest, it wasn’t a page turner.
informative. Didn’t know about women flyers overseas in WWII.
There were not twists and turns in this movie to keep me interested all through the reading. Nice job
Bland. Flawed, Soap opera.
facinating
This book makes you realize how far woman have come in the last 50 years. Learning about woman doing the flying during WW2 was very interesting.
Great story. A lot of modern thought about race, sex stereotypes, etc.
too chatty about personal women’s things, to little about aviation. A girls book for sure.
I enjoy reading about history
I have never read a book that covered the subject matter as well as this one. You will really enjoy it.
Good reminder of life and times during WW2.
Excellent historical novel.
Enjoyed the story line…. they had a difficult time during the war… so many hardships with
The Germans bombing almost every day…
Even though I read the whole book, there were times when I almost said, “enough of this”, but that was because it was definitely a “girley” book and It was fairly “predictable. It could have been so much more if the author had really researched her subject. If one looked forward to one more tragedy than this would be the book for them.,,
