A brand new contemporary romance from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans. He’s my most delicious secret. The hot Suit I had a one-night stand with one evening. I didn’t know anything about him, not even his name. Only that we shared a taxi, and he was staying at the hotel where I worked. We met in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my … in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my soul.
The next day he was gone and I only had a memory of him.
I could still taste his kisses, feel his demanding touch.
I searched for him for months. Daydreaming about him. Wondering if I’d ever find him.
Until the day I find myself staring face to face with his jeweled black eyes again.
He says lets keep it casual, and my heart knows that falling for this workaholic in a three-thousand-dollar suit is off the table.
Because he has a secret. One that’s a deal breaker for me.
My Suit has a name.
Ian Ford.
And this is our story.
*Mogul contains characters from Tycoon, but is written to be read as a standalone.

This is my second “hotel” romance this year! Earlier I’d read Welcome to the Cameo Hotel and loved it. While Mogul does take place in a hotel for some parts, it has a vastly different, but delicious story line.
Ian Ford, is a Hollywood producer and workaholic. He’s separates his private life from everything, due to some personal scars. Everything happens on his terms, but after seeing Sara he knows he has to have the adorable concierge. Even if it’s for one night. Sara, is a bit unsure because she’s never had a one night stand before. However, she knows she can’t turn down a night with the hottest man she’s ever met.
After their explosive night, the two try to move on. Sara is trying to make it big on Broadway, and Ian has a cluster fuck of issues to deal with. Fate has another plan. The two meet again, and jump back into their physical relationship. Both are wary, Ian more than Sara. He’s unwilling to open himself to love again, after his wife betrayed him. Sara is unsure of being with him while he is undergoing a nasty divorce. She doesn’t want to be the other woman, but she can’t seem to stay away from the suit who she can’t stop thinking about.
Katy Evans can write hotter than hell heroes, and Ian is no different. He oozes sex appeal and is commandeering, but I also found him vulnerable. Sara is also unsure at times. She is confused and torn between what logic dictates and what her heart wants. The sexy times are hot, and in signature Katy Evans style primal as hell.
Mogul by Katy Evans is a hot and passionate romance novel. Sara Davies isn’t at her dream job, which would be on Broadway, but being a hotel concierge has it’s perks. A shared cab ride with a hot, and suited, businessman turns into something more when he ends up staying at her hotel and a very passionate interaction in room 1103. Ian Ford is a driven professional who works hard, when his wife cheats on him it is something he never saw coming and then when she drags out the divorce it makes things even worse. He wasn’t looking for something or someone new, in fact he had thrown himself even more into work, but a cab ride with Sara sparks something he never expected and soon he realizes he can’t get enough.
The story has multiple divorce themes, both with Ian and with Sara’s parents. These circumstances make it hard for each of them to trust to the developing love that is growing between them. With the failures of past relationships and those around them they progress in fits and starts. I found that the issues they were grappling with seemed to be complex and real. Allowing themselves to love and then embracing it when it is in front of them is harder than having hot, passionate, nights.
Overall I enjoyed Mogul by Katy Evans. It was a novel with well developed and thought out characters and plot as well as romance, passion and fun.
(I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)
Mogul starts out with a hot and tantalizing bang!!!! My goodness I was hooked immediately!! I thought I was going to combust while reading it. Sara is an aspiring dancer who is adventurous, assertive and my kind of girl! She’s daring and definitely is not afraid to go after what she wants. Ian is a devastatingly handsome, alpha male suit and successful movie producer.
When Sara and Ian meet, the sparks between them ignite immediately. Sara just so happens to work at the hotel where Ian is a guest. They meet in room 1103 and their explosive relationship takes off from there. Their sexual relationship is so stimulating, thigh clenching and I couldn’t get enough. I loved the story-line which is consistent and very engaging.
Mogul is a great love story and well written plot with unforgettable characters. I definitely recommend reading it as you will not be disappointed.
Like every other one of Katy Evans’ alpha male sex gods, Ian Ford is ALL man. Mr. Hot Suit himself knows how to leave his women wanting for more, which is exactly where Sara Davies finds herself after she shared one hell of a wild night with Ian, but the possibility of seeing him again is dismal, especially when he never told her his name and the hotel registration didn’t reveal anything that could help her locate the man who made her feel beautiful and deliciously manipulated her body with the utmost ease.
Fate seems to want to give Ian and Sara a second chance, though, but that’s only if Ian can unclutter his mind and his heart, which is quite the tall order given the circumstances he’s dealing with, but the fact that he has another opportunity with Sara, he’s not about to pass it up, crazy baggage be damned!
Ian and Sara have the chemistry…they already know they’re more than compatible between the sheets…so if they can learn to trust one another, which isn’t easy for either one of them, there should be no reason they can’t explore what’s between them, even if they start under the guise of ‘keeping things casual.’
I have to say that it’s pretty much a universal fact that when romance heroes and heroines start off as a fling or a good time that it NEVER ends that way, which makes sense given the connection and sexual attraction that’s there. It’s obvious in Ian and Sara’s sparring matches as well as how easily fit into each other’s lives that it was never going to be something ‘casual,’ but I also get why Ian laid it out that way given his past experiences and the hole he’s still trying to dig himself out of and as long as Sara can handle it, who am I to judge!
Like all of Katy Evans’ stories, I enjoyed Ian and Sara’s book, and I knew it was just a matter of time until these two reconnected and stopped fighting the pull that was always there between them. The secondary characters are an integral part of Mogul, and it was great catching up with them and also finding out more information about future main characters. I’m definitely intrigued by Becka, and I can’t wait for her story!
4 Poison Apples
Sassy, fiery, passionate! That summarizes Sara.
“Hot workaholic”, “Suit”. That’s Sara’s description of Ian.
Their first meeting was filled with sidelong glances and eyes filled with lust. That led to a phone call, a proposition and visit to room 1103. It also led to disappearances. And a meeting in a most unexpected place.
Just sex, they said. Just fun. How did that work for them? A secret and fears, logical or not, and their “relationship” if off to a rocky start. Flirty, dirty talk and fiery disagreements are the best foreplay.
Sara and Ian have chemistry and passion that is undeniable. It’s all the other stuff that makes a relationship successful that they doubt. Denial does not work well for them and soon it’s the real thing with messy feelings and all. And in the background are Bryn and Christi’s!
Sara and Ian are definitely a fun couple.
After finishing I am trying to process the story and still not sure where to start…I guess it’s quite simple; I am absolutely and wholeheartedly in love with Mr. Ford.
Seriously peeps….Ian Ford is one hotter than hot, demanding yummylicious, workaholic. On the surface he seems not to be caring at all, but if you get to know him better and can catch a deeper glimpse into his soul, you will find he does have a heart, a really beautiful one!
The story itself is about two people who couldn’t be more different. Sara is a dancer / concierge, he is a film producer. You know the saying “opposites attract”? Their attraction is out of this world. Amazing, pulling, stealing your heart and bloody hot. You feel it through to your bones.
I hope it’s allowed to bring this excerpt because I loved this part the most…. full of emotions…full of love even without them knowing it…
“It’s a dance— and as much as I love dancing, I’ve never loved anything as much as I love doing this with him. Every part of my body is alive and moving, straining, searching for Ian, reaching for Ian, more and more Ian. Ian’s movements stimulate mine, just like my touches and kisses stimulate his. I’ve seen dancers move on stage, but I’ve never felt a man move so beautifully— or dance this dance or any other dance so fiercely—with me before. We’re the song and the dance, the tune and the variation, the violin and the player… the ache and the balm that heals it.”
This book was brilliantly written, it’s amazing and so much more. I devoured it in few hours, I know you’re going love it!
I’ve got to say, this book was nothing like I was expecting, in the best way possible. MOGUL is a fresh spin on the hot billionaire story. Sara and Ian are deliciously dirty, and ridiculously sweet. Though that last one, is more Sara than Ian, he’s more dominating alpha, but he does have his own sweet side. These two were eccentric and captivating. From the get-go their passion was hotter than hades, but as the story develops and we get to know more about them there are so many complexities in their story. Complexities to the point, that it couldn’t possible work, right? Wrong. When these two give in to their emotions, they’re all in. They push each other, and demand the most from one another. The push and pull in and out of the bedroom had me glued to the pages for every ounce of more I could get from Ian and Sara.
Katy Evans did what she does best in Mogul, she gave me a fresh-voiced story, with a ton of heat, and gripping plot, and the need for MORE, MORE, MORE. I could easily read and devour another book about this couple, but alas, I will leave them to their happily ever after and hopefully move onto Becka’s story!
Happy Reading!

Mogul is a must have!!!! Run don’t walk to get it! NOW!!!!!
Sweet sexy romance that’s starts with a bang! Katy Evans delivers another steamy, swoon worthy, can’t get enough love story!
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
If you read Katy’s book TYCOON you would see Sara as the roommate of the heroine in that story, briefly. In MOGUL Sara is a concierge for a hotel in NYC. She has a request to come to room 1103 by the guest. They had a one night stand and she didn’t even know his name.
Months pass by and they happen to run into each other again in the park. Ian Ford is his name and he’d like a repeat of that one night in the hotel One he was disappointed to find she was no long an employee of.
Of course there’s a catch, right? Ian has a complication. A big one. While Sara tries to reconcile the complication of what kind of relationship she and Ian might have she has to ask herself it’s even worth it?
I enjoyed reading this book. I breezed right through it. Nothing a bit of communication can’t solve in this one. Or possibly tossing some money at the problem and barreling right on through. I hope you enjoy the book as well.
“love can be lost at any moment, but it can also be found. It can change and grow and shine and hurt, the way sometimes beauty hurts. But its mark is permanent. Its power infinite.”
I know that I always say this but KATY EVANS has the best stare-at-me covers and with Mogul she did not disappoint! Mogul was for sure a HOT SEXY STEAMY READ!!
Room 1103 is where the magic happened…
Well, Ian Ford. Pleased to meet you…
“This guy is supernova. And his whole look screams workaholic.”
He’s sex on a stick and he knows it. His reputation precedes him as a Hollywood producer.
Sara is smart in the way she tackles problems and comes to decisions, and damn but I love her perseverance. She moved to NYC and lives with Bryn. Her dream was shattered after an injury.. Dancing is everything for her and she still hopes that she will be on Broadway one day…
“The world is fickle and doesn’t even know what it wants. Isn’t it better to let others reject you than you yourself rejecting possibilities before even exploring them?”
Ian and Sara meet accidentally and end by having a H.O.T one night stand at the hotel where Sara works. However, Sara cannot stop thinking about him and wish she knew who he was.
“one night wasn’t enough. It was a taste that only made me crave more, and now I don’t even look at other men because they’re just not… that guy.”
Ian is a very successful film producer, he has it all or so it seems. He is going through a very nasty divorce and has no desire to date ever again.
They both cannot stop thinking about each other and when fate make they meet again, the sexual tension between them is palpable and explosive!
Their story starts there but can they have a relationship with no strings attached? Can Sara cope with Ian’s past?
“As I get all kinds of crazy feelings looking at him, I remind myself I’ll do my best not to give him my heart, just my body. Dating casually.”
Mogul is a beautiful story about seduction. It’s always like that with Katy Evans’s books, so easily to read and to fall in love with them! She slayed it!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ~~4.5 SMOKING HOTSUIT STARS! ~~
“Ian Ford. Dirty Workaholic. Hot as the hottest man on the planet.”
Katy Evans never fails to sweep me off her feet with her heady, hyper romantic tales of love–and lust–that triumphs against all odds! And in MOGUL she proves yet again that no one writes swoon-worthy, seductively sexy Alpha males quite like she does. Omfg Ian Ford AKA Hotsuit whipped me up into a freaking foamy lather!!!!! This mesmerizing movie mogul had it GOING ON!!
THE STORY:
MOGUL totally stands alone, but if the heroine sounds familiar it’s because we first met our bubbly ingénue, Sara Davies, in TYCOON, after Big Apple transplant Bryn answered her ad for a roommate to share her NYC digs. The two women hit it off right away and Sara confided in her new bff about a torrid one night stand she shared with a mystery gentleman in the Four Seasons hotel where she worked at. (FYI… the Sara/Bryn storylines overlap in both books so essentially TYCOON and MOGUL can be read in ANY order, and for me it was oodles of fun to revisit the Bryn/ Christos Romance!)
Well, THIS book takes us back to that blazing hot encounter between Ian and Sara that took place in room 1103, and lemme just say that you better have a tall glass of something cold and a turbo fan nearby because it’s gonna scorch your princess parts! I am talking LIQUID FIRE folks!! After their scintillating hookup ends, they go their separate ways but wowza it’s an encounter neither will soon forget!
FF to present day, several months later. Sara’s since been let go from concierge gig and has been moonlighting as a dog walker/PA while pursuing her dreams of performing on Broadway. As for her love life? Meh! Her attempts to track down her mystery lover have been fruitless but she has not been able to stop pining for—or hoping to one day find— the nameless “tall, dark, and decadent” Hot Suit who disappeared without a trace after he ravished every inch of her.
But Ian had his reasons. Turns out this sinfully sexy “Dirty Workaholic” is smack dab in the middle of a very ugly divorce and getting emotionally entangled with this beautiful, aspiring Broadway starlet should be the LAST thing on his busy agenda. However, he too is obsessively fixated on his one-time fling. He can’t get her out of his head. Or his heart. So what’s this crazy infatuated Alpha to do? Well, as a hotshot power player, Ian Ford is a driven to a fault, and when he sets his sight on the prize he goes after it with a vengeance. And he wants Sara. There is nothing that he won’t do have this woman. Even when he shouldn’t.
I really don’t want to divulge any plot spoilers…so my lips are zipped about how Hot Suit comes prowling back into Sara’s life which reignites a passionate love affair that comes with some mighty big complications! But all I will say is that what unfolds is utterly delish!
MY MUSINGS:
I binge read MOGUL in a night and it left me with one DOOZY of a book hangover. Gah! The feels were wicked intense! I got giddy butterflies. And heart palpitations. I swooned. And sighed. Soared to euphoric heights. And yup even blinked back some tears.
The narrative is fast paced, and wildly addictive from start to finish, and you WILL FALL MADLY IN LOVE with Ian and Sara at first sight! They were so freaking adorable together they killed me with cuteness, and there is just something about this duo that just lit me on fire!
Sarah is as sassy and sweet and spunky as Ian is devastatingly male, disarmingly charismatic and delectably dirty talking. Who doesn’t love a dynamic man of mystery? Well, Mr. Hot Suit is such a beautiful enigma. And even though Sara aka “Dancer” knows Ian has heartbreak written all over him–he is majorly gun-shy about commitment because of his messy romantic baggage—she still can’t resist him. And can we really blame her? I mean, Ian is 100% deliciously dominating Alpha Male who positively vibrates with raw animal magnetism! He is POTENT. POSSESSIVE. PRIMAL. And of course the most RAVENOUS lover she’s ever had. And this pretty spitfire stirs his jaded heart in ways that nearly brings this powerful movie mogul to his knees!
“We’re the song and the dance, the tune and the variation, the violin and the player… the ache and the balm that heals it.”
I am not exaggerating when I say that the instantaneous magnetic attraction that flickered between these two from the very first moment their eyes locked in that airport taxi line was so hypnotic I nearly hyperventilated! Ian and Sarah just smoldered in each and every encounter together and the intensity of their passionate love toward each was beyond INTOXICATING!! And as we’ve come to expect from Ms. Evans, their sensual-charged interludes were deliciously steamy—and plentiful—and the fiery push-pull was off the charts combustible!
There was just so much profound need and fierce yearning zinging between them it made my toes curl!! The flirty, playful banter was bloody amazing too! But with so much turmoil and uncertainty standing in their way, can true love persevere? Well, duh, it’s a Katy Evans novel, so OF COURSE it does but that doesn’t mean there is not some angst and heartache, pathos and pain along the way to their blissfully romantic HEA!
BOTTOM LINE:
MOGUL is an enthralling, all-consuming, explosively sexy tale about a forbidden one night stand that leads to a love of a freaking lifetime!! I relished every single palpable, passion drenched moment and cannot recommend this captivating romance highly enough!
Katy has made me swoon over her men for years Ian Ford is no different. The chemistry is off the charts and he’s so damn sweet even when he’s dirty!!! He’s got as hell too.. love the nicknames these 2 have for each other sooo sweet!
As excited as I was to read this book, my feelings whilst reading it were so heightened!!
This book was so many things! So very enjoyable to read and the characters just made me fall in love with them!
I love that after a one night stand and not knowing the hot man’s name, Sara can’t get him off her mind! The name’s she calls him are too funny!
This book had brilliant banter, sizzling steamy tension and amazing characters!
I loved the friendships that were made and I really liked Ian! Scratch that, I Looved him!!
What a man! Charming, a workaholic but since meeting Sara and not knowing how to get in touch, a bit of time passes! Needless to say when they eventually meet, you can literally feel the tension! Oh boy!
I just could not get over how great this couple were together but nothing in life is ever easy and straightforward! I loved the direction the story went and I kept reading till I finished!
Katy has really written a beautiful story and I look forward to reading more from her!!
I absolutely loved it!! Katy has done it again with an amazing story!
Ian and Sara’s story is romantic, hot and addictive.
I could not stop reading as I wanted to finish and find out what happened next.
Sara finds out who her mysterious Taxi rider is and digs to find out his name. She’s never had a one night stand and can’t get him out of her mind.
Ian is a workaholic and not looking for anyone as he’s trying to get his ex to finalize the divorce.
Sara is a sassy, hot and independent woman. I really enjoyed her character and how strong she is. She is someone you instantly connect with.
Ian is a sweet attractive businessman! He is such a good guy and I’m glad when he finally admits his feelings for Sara and puts his foot down to do the right thing. You instantly love his character and want more of him.
This can be read as a stand alone but is part of tycoon. This story is well written and addictive

I’ve been waiting for this book since we learn about Ian and Sara in Tycoon, which I absolutely loved! Mogul was the steamiest of reads, these two simply can’t get enough of each other. For them, it wasn’t as easy as walking away from an amazing one night stand. It turned out to be a night neither one of them could forget. But after a night of bliss, Sara never knew the name of her mystery man. What kind of shenanigans will these two get into?
With Ian going through a bit of a messy divorce, he never could get that hot night of bliss off of his mind. After months and fate barges in and bring these two back together again, it was more than enough fuel for him to really push for his cheating wife to sign off on those papers. More than anything he wants to be free of her and to hopefully give love again someday. With Sara brought back into his life again, he’s not going to let this opportunity go.
Sara is really working towards achieving her dream, she nearly had it in the grasp of her hand, but an injury puts a stop to that immediately. Since then, she’s just been going with the flow auditioning for everything under the sun and working a crap concierge job at a hotel. Meeting a mystery man and sharing his cab, the last thing she expected was for him to get out at the same stop. With the chemistry sizzling between the two of them during that cab ride, mystery man offers her nothing more than a one night stand. After his departure, she always wondered about him and months later it was chance that they’d meet again.
Boyyyyyy, these two are the steamiest of the steamiest, but I really loved these two together. They definitely can’t get enough of each other, it’s pure intensity between them. I was a bit curious to see if Ian’s ex-wife was going to make an appearance in their story and sure enough she did. It was a bit predictable, but I loved how Ian shut her down every time without even a second glance. After he caught her cheating, that was it for him. There’s even a scene where Sara and his ex-wife cross paths, but Sara deals with it like a boss! It was probably one of my favorite scenes.
Even though they tried to keep things casual, I loved how protective they were of each other. To me, that sounds a lot like a relationship 😉 They definitely have to face their fears before they can truly dive in and call it what it is, but I enjoyed every step of the way.
I enjoyed their story so much and absolutely loved reading Sara’s POV during the craziness of Bryn’s life in Tycoon. Katy Evans fans will absolutely love Ian and Sara’s story!
4 ‘My Yummy Suit’ Stars!

You must know by now that I am a massive fan of Katy Evans. I always have crazy high expectations when it comes to her books, even more when I rated the previous one (Tycoon) with my special rating. As you can imagine, Aaric Christos continues being my favorite but Ian Ford definitely did not leave me indifferent. Who does not love a sexy and mysterious billionaire decided to seduce the girl he just met?
So, Mogul is Katy’s newest release and, although it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Tycoonfirst. Now, let’s focuse on the mogul himself. This hot suit appears in Sara Davies’ life when they both share a sexual-tension-filled taxi ride to the same hotel. Sara works there, Ian is a client. And they have a smoking hot one night stand. Their lives are supposed to not cross again, right? Of course not! Circumstances bring them together again and that night becomes so much more: a love story.
“Four Seasons concierge, this is Sara speaking.”
“Sara, this is the gentleman from room 1103.”
“Oh, yes. How can I help you, sir?”
“I’d like your panties in a little wad in my pocket and you thrashing in my bed.”
I knew when I started reading Mogul the chemistry between this couple would be like gasoline and fire together: explosive. Katy Evans knows perfectly well how to write one hell of a sex god with a dirty mouth and I love it! Yes, Ian and Sara do not lack on that department. The tension between them is palpable and the sex is off-the-charts-hot. However, I do have to say one thing: it would have been great for me to see a little bit more of that tension on the very beginning. Yes, I know it’s a one night stand but even knowing that, I wish it hadn’t been that rushed.
I want her, and I don’t like letting go of what I want.
Maybe that’s why it took me a while to connect with this couple. I needed more than just two people having lots of sex. I needed to know them. When that happenned, I definitely enjoyed more all the cute, secretive and sexy moments between Ian and Sara. I loved seeing and meeting the Ian Ford that decides not to hide his layers from the woman he is falling for and I also loved seeing how Sara reaches for him and her dreams. I really enjoyed how this couple fins happiness together.
We’re the song and the dance, the tune and the variation, the violin and the player… the ache and the balm that heals it.
Therefore, my rating for Mogul is 4 STARS because who does not love a sexy billionaire giving a second chance at love? I am glad Ian and Sara found each other and how they get their happy ending. As I said, I do wish there had been more wooing and feeling at the start but everything worked great at the end. Now I am surely curious about Becka and whoever will be the man of her dreams! If you enjoyed Tycoon, be sure to check Mogul too, guys!
Katy Evans has out done herself again. The question everyone is going to be asking is when can I check into room 1103!
After a weekend trip to see her parents goes south, all Sara wants to do is unwind at home.Trying to get home from the airport, she takes a chance and asks if she could share a ride with a handsome stranger. One shared cab ride will change Sara and Ian’s lives forever.
Ian has a big secret, one that could shatter Sara’s heart. Will these two be able to navigate theirs lives together?
“I’m suddenly afraid he’s going to break me, somehow, some way. The first time hooked me; what will the second do?’’
Mogul is a hot and steamy read, that once I started I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend reading Mogul, and anything else written by Katy.
Wow Katy Evans has delivered one hell of a hot AF read that will leave your kindle steamy and you requiring a cold shower. It starts hot and draws you straight in.
This book runs parallel to Tycoon so it was nice to see some of Aaric and Bryan.
Sara is a concierge at the Four Seasons and after a chance encounter in the airport taxi rank she finds out the hot Suit she is sharing a cab with is staying at her hotel. Once he is checked in he calls down to the concierge and puts a request in that is not the usual offerings 😉 He wants Sara in his room straight away.
Ian is going through a nasty divorce from his cheating wife and is not looking for a relationship but there is something about Sara that calls to him, that keeps him coming back. Is the hot sex enough for them or can Sara break down Ian’s walls.
Another brilliant read from Katy Evans
Mogul was a steamy passionate story about two slightly damaged souls that find each other in the least likely place.
Ian and Sara have an instant attraction and don’t waste any time acting on it. One and done is what they thought they were getting. Little did they know they both would be thinking about that one night even months later. A chance encounter brings them back together and they just can’t deny this “thing” between them.
If you like hot workaholic suits and sassy aspiring broadway dancers then this book is exactly what you want. This book would be a great addition to your library.
