A brand new contemporary romance from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans. He’s my most delicious secret. The hot Suit I had a one-night stand with one evening. I didn’t know anything about him, not even his name. Only that we shared a taxi, and he was staying at the hotel where I worked. We met in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my … in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my soul.
The next day he was gone and I only had a memory of him.
I could still taste his kisses, feel his demanding touch.
I searched for him for months. Daydreaming about him. Wondering if I’d ever find him.
Until the day I find myself staring face to face with his jeweled black eyes again.
He says lets keep it casual, and my heart knows that falling for this workaholic in a three-thousand-dollar suit is off the table.
Because he has a secret. One that’s a deal breaker for me.
My Suit has a name.
Ian Ford.
And this is our story.
*Mogul contains characters from Tycoon, but is written to be read as a standalone.

I finished reading this Mogul yesterday and I’m so so conflicted on how to feel! I think the beginning could have started better but after chapter 3 I really got in to it. The book really gave me fairy tale vibes, Ian Ford is Prince Charming! Everything about him is sweet, caring, funny and sexy, at times Sara really annoyed me, I think she was unreasonable when it comes to things and I didn’t like the decisions she made. What I did love was her friendship with the girls! They were so cute #GirlPower If I were to describe Mogul I would say its a cross between a fairy tale and a good soap! The drama and the romance is absolutely beautiful and hot. I gave the book 4 stars because the parts I didn’t like didn’t overshadow what a great read this was!
As usual another outstanding book by Katy Evans
A page turner from the beginning to the end, I loved the story of Ian & Sara a one night stand that turned into so much more, His the sexy workaholic she’s the sassy concierge who met in room 1103, She has a potty mouth he has trust issues but together their chemistry is off the chart, the sparks fly and a quick read but one you will love.
I have been waiting for another book from Katy Evans after Racer and Mogul does not disappoint! We first met Sara in Tycoon and now we get to find out what she was doing in Mogul!
Sara and Ian first met when Sara asked him if she could share his cab from the airport. It ends up that they both are going to the same hotel where Sara works as a concierge and Ian is staying there. This led to an encounter in Ian’s room that both really enjoyed. But circumstances come into play where Sara didn’t find out who Ian is since he never told her his name and his room was booked under a company name! Alas, it appears that they will never get together.
Fate comes into play when Sara sees Ian again when she goes to the part to walk her customer’s, who happens to be Ian’s grandmother, dog! The attraction is strong and even though both of them doesn’t want to get involved in a relationship, they decide to be casual. Ian pushes Sara to pursue her dream of being a dancer on Broadway and Sara makes Ian happy, which he hasn’t been in over a year! But they have to deal with their past, their insecurities, and what they really want!
This is such a great story about finding love, pursuing your dreams, and not let others get in the way!
You better break out the SPF for this one! Ian, and Sara are scorching up some pages!
I always tell myself no one can top the last male heart-throb I read about, but then Katy comes along and proves me wrong.
This man is just Yummy!
From the moment Sara meets the handsome, arrogant Mr.Ford. Sparks fly, but she pegs him as the kind of man who usually doesn’t hear the word “no”, Sara being a bit of a spitfire, keeps Ian on his toes. Even after losing her panties to this sex god.
The steamy chemistry between these two pulls you into a bit of a trance. You will not want to stop reading until the very last page. I finished this one in almost one sitting! If you loved Tycoon, you will want to pick Mogul up for sure! Along with Katy’s other fantastic reads.
I truly do love Katy Evans’ style. Her ability to create remarkable stories filled with strong, sexy characters is unmatched.
Ian Ford, a successful film exec, is temporarily NYC on business. A commanding presence in every way, he’s caught the eye of his hotel concierge, Sara. The attraction is very mutual, and quickly leads to a scorching hot, secret meeting.
Sara, a sassy dancer with Broadway dreams, simply cannot be seen in a guest’s room, but the temptation of one incredible night with a sexy stranger is irresistible. Have mercy, what a night!
Now, Ian has secrets and unfinished business, so anything more than one night is impossible, no matter how much he enjoyed his time with Sara. He’s a good guy in a very bad situation.
And Sara, she’s struggling to just catch a break. For the past few years, her spirit has slowly dulled. She’s still feisty, but frustrated with the hand life has dealt.
Ian could end up being both the best and worst thing for her, but she can’t resist his sensual pull.
I loved these two flirty and dirty characters. Their chemistry and passion is off the charts. Well written, emotional, this book has everything! 5 stars!
I didn’t know if I could Love Katy Evans Books even more, but I totally Do. I really enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. I absolutely Love Ian he is just one Hawt Workaholic. Sara I love her she is so awesome. This book had me in so many emotions, but I loved every one of them. I love the glimpses of Christos and Bryn that we get in this book. This book is about Love obviously, but to me it’s more about trust and chances. I would love to say more, but I will spoil it for you all. So just read it, you will not be disappointed.
Swoooooonnn Ian Ford…..
Ian and Sara wanted nothing but one night at room 1103… One night lead to many doors… Mogul is a sexy steamy read.. a book who will give you more blushes with feets curling.. the romance which can melt your emotions.. ahhh Katy impressed me with her ways to made me feel sexy and dreamy ..
Mogul had spoken to me with their own richness… a powerful man can have weakness… a human being who wants to be love..
This book is nothing short of sexy taunting….words that you want to hear behind the door..My world had been lifted off with seductive..lusting for every words.. soooooo i would recommend Mogul with the beat of my heart..its not cheesy love.. its not Romeo-Juliet ..but its Ian and Sara with Katy spins.. I can see her spirit through the storyline.. things that made me fallen in love…things that made me always drawn to her books..those feeling never fail… yet you compel me again with your charm..
Well written, likable characters, plenty of sexy scenes and just enough angst to keep things interesting.
A romantic read worth reading. Sweet characters and beautiful writing
Not one of Kathy Evans best.
Two strangers share a cab and then realize he’ll be staying at the hotel where she works. It all starts in room 1103, the dancer and hot suit. Until she gets fired and tries to use all the tools at her disposal to track him down and ends up finding him in the least expected place. Even though the series can be read as standalones, I did like how Bryn and Christos were weaved throughout Sara and Ian’s book. This story flowed so well and is very enjoyable even though it’s light on the angst and conflict. This is perfect for any Katy Evans fan or anybody looking for a quick, flirty and fun read.
A chance encounter, the result of a shared taxi. A seductive, uninhibited woman. A mysterious man who emanates sex appeal. The place of the final destination, is the same: a luxury hotel. She’s the concierge, he’s the guest. An overwhelming attraction, a hotel room and a torrid night. The book from the beginning presents its tone, shows that this narrative will be sensual and without modesty.
Sara is an aspiring actress / dancer who dreams of a chance on Broadway. Her current job allows her to pay her expenses once an accident in the past has taken her chances to get a great opportunity. Upon meeting this enigmatic man, Sara will be completely intoxicated by him. Ian is a famous producer, workaholic, who avoids relationships, is going through a difficult time in his personal life and therefore closed to the world. Until a woman completely different from the types he is so used to affects him, and he who thinks he is above any amorous complication, will take an interest in her. The two together are fire and flame. But how could a man with past troubles and a woman with a recently opened wound be able to indulge in such deep feelings in the midst of such lust?
Unfortunately the book did not charm me. The main idea is very good, but its development was flawed. The two characters are shallow, the chapters in the form of narration, alternating the characters have become tiresome, lack dialogues, sex is very present, which would not be a problem if it were conducted in a better way, but practically every moment there was a scene of this kind. The attraction of the two is much explored, but the transition to love is hard to believe. The insinuation of a villain could be better explored, the conclusion of the problem was very fast.
It had a lot of potential, but failed in several points. Curiously, the part where there was no sensuality was the best of the plot: Ian’s grandmother and her dog, the mystery about the guest on room 1103 and Sara’s audition were interesting. A pity and an irony, that the sex in an erotic book has been responsible for its failure.
I love this story. The chemistry between the two main characters, Ian and Sara, is strong. This story is intriguing and steamy. The narration was really well done and easy to listen, as always with Grace Grant and Sebastian York. I enjoyed my reading/listening and I totally recommend this audiobook. Katy Evans’s writing is always amazing. She’s one of my favorite authors.
Sara Davies is an aspiring Broadway dancer looking for her first break and working as a 5-star hotel concierge. She shares an airport taxi with a businessman to her hotel, where he also happens to be staying. The next day, when the guest in Room 1103 calls with an unusual (and provocative) request, Sara throws her inhibitions out the door and responds. At first she was fine with how they both walked away from the encounter, not ever having shared their names, but she can’t seem to get this man out of her head…and heart…and the same goes for him.
I loved the beginning of this story as it doesn’t waste time getting things started. Of course, I was immediately intrigued by Mr. Room 1103 and wanted to know more about why Sara responded so quickly and willingly. Then the focus changed as we start to learn more about her and Ian Ford, the mystery man in 1103. Both have interesting lives, his more troublesome but hers just as compelling. I liked them both and was delighted that there weren’t any forced dramas for them to fall into unnecessary angst.
The timing of this story intersects with the beginning of Bryn’s relationship with Aaric (from Tycoon) when she becomes Sara’s roommate. Can’t believe I’m saying this but this story stands alone nicely from the first book in the series as Bryn’s relationship development occurs “off camera.” Sebastian York is perfect as Ian (no surprise there!) and Grace Grant delivers her typical youthful performance as Sara. I’m always going to choose the audio format for a Katy Evans book because of these two.
While I enjoyed the story, I would have liked some of the plot elements to have been expanded and fewer of the sexual encounters. Sara and Ian were fun together with witty banter and steamy chemistry. Their out-of-bed relationship made for an entertaining story.
not up to author’s usual standard.
I was really exited to read an other book by Miss Evans because i really enjoyed the last book i read by her. So i needed to read these.
The story idea was totally interesting. Because the relationship between the main characters devoloped out of a one Night stand. But in the whole Story the reader was abel to see that there were chemistry between Sarah and Ian.
Besides the love story we had also grate friendships in these book. and i love it when we also got a glimps of other relationships of the main characters.
Also the story was very interesting from the beginning because of the fact that Sarah worked at the hotel in and he was guest. It’s a small forbidden Element. It brought some suspense to the story.
I really enjoyed how the plot was going.
Sometimes our heroine annoyed me because she made a big thing out of nothing a few times. But on the same page i got why she did it.
Again an Author made it that i got glimpse of who is it to be famous in a special way. And also we see thats not good for a relationship.
There where also a lot of humor in these story besides the serious themes that are named in these story. It was always a good balance between Serious and Humor.
I really liked the style of writing of Katy. It was so fluently read but i haven’t had any problem to understand everything.
Sarah was really loyal young women. Also she was strong in her own special way. Also she had humor. I loved how loyal she was. In some parts of the story she was unsure about her self but she fough her problems.
Ian knows what he wanted and how he gets it. Ha also knows whats good for him and he is nice guy. He also fights for the things and people he wants to fight for. We see also that he works really much and hard.
Conclusion
All in all im happy to say that these book doesn’t disappoint my espections in Katy Evans i really enjoyed reading. If like hot reads with lots of emotion then you do nothing wrong with these book. It got four stars from me.
*Five Stars*
“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.” – Sarah Dessen
I love Katy Evans’s books and her writing. The way she builds relationships and characters are just beautiful. Love getting lost in her world, stories and characters. I loved this book so much. It was a little lighter than her previous books and that’s the reason I adored this book even more. It started unexpected and different but I loved the intensity of it and that it started on point. And then I got introduced what happened before that introduction – chapter and how Sara and Ian met. I was captured from the start with the happenings and wanted to know more. There is no slow burn romance. The characters meet accidentally/unexpected and have one night stand. I always love when it’s told from dual POVs because I like to see and read what both characters are experiencing, going through and their thoughts.
Ian Ford is a dominant alpha male, isn’t emotionally available because he is jaded and bitter from his previous relationship. He is a mogul who owns several production companies where he produces film blockbusters and documentaries. Ian is absolutely loveable character/hero once you get to know him.
Sara Davies is gorgeous, determined and a strong heroine. She’s aspiring dancer, she has danced all her life but injury sets her back and her dreams of being on Broadway got crushed and put on hold. She works as concierge at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Ian and Sara meet accidentally and under unexpected circumstances which leads to a one night stand. They are intense, hot, passionate and have scorching chemistry. Neither can forget the passionate night they spent together but both have reservations about going forward and forming a relationship. Ian and Sara are struggling in their life: Sara with finding her place in dancing business; Ian with his former relationship and trust issues that that left him. After seeing each other for the second time they decide to explore their attraction. There is strong pull between them, but reservations and obstacles are present. Ian is not ready to have a relationship but he is willing to try for Sara; and Sara is afraid of being hurt if she falls for him. I love the development of their relationship but also their character growth. Loved their sexy scenes, swoon worthy and funny banter and their love – the way they fell for each other.
Highly recommend reading Katy Evans’s books
What I like about Katy Evans’ books is the mixture of heat and tenderness. Her heroes are men with power, yet when the right woman comes about, they’re struck powerless with the attraction they feel and they fall stupidly in love.
In this book, we have a man who is going through a nasty divorce and who has given himself to work completely to deal with the demons that his wife’s infidelity created. He feels like he doesn’t have feelings, like he’s dead while living. Yet when he meets Sara at the hotel where he usually stays while visiting New York, he gets a blast of desire and a sudden zest for living.
Sara is a dancer who broke her ankle on her first audition. Since then, and after her rehabilitation, no offers have touched her door so she’s working other jobs to pay the rent. She meets Ian at the hotel where he’s staying and she’s a concierge. After one very hot sexy times, when she learns that he’s still married and going through a divorce, she walks away. Her parents are going through a divorce and the process is hurting both her and her mother terribly and she can’t deal with Ian’s divorce too. Later on, she loses the job and starts working as a dog walker and ends up walking Ian’s grandmother’s dog. Feels like destiny wants them to have their chance.
I loved about the book that Ian was a relentless workaholic, a man completely driven by his work, and yet when he meets Sara, his tendencies come to a screeching halt. He suddenly realizes that when you have the woman meant to be at your side, you take a moment and give her your time. His heart woke up, his lust heated up, and his life took up color again, just because Sara was there. Sara is passionate, wild in bed, sweet out of bed, and she’s a good soul. This was a straightforward book, full of heart and sexy times.
Katy Evans is such a great story teller. When you first open up one of her books, it’s so easy to fall into the world she spins, before you know it you’re reading “The End” and you don’t know where the day has gone.
Sara and Ian’s story was something that was completely unexpected, different and such an amazing journey. Quick and fun, sexy and angsty right from the start. Sara is smart, driven, independent with some sass and a lot of spitfire in her. Ian is your typical mogul – confident, controlled, and alpha as all get out. A chance encounter leads to chemistry and a sexual tension neither of them could escape.
The way their story weaved, the way Katy Evans brings their world to life – I completely fell in love with these two. I sat and read this story literally in one sitting. I was captivated and was eager for more. LOVED this story so much, and it was fun catching glimpses of some of her other characters as well.
I will always recommend Katy Evans books to anyone. But this book. This book it really was great. I didn’t want it to end. I was glued from the very first page to the very last. DEFINITELY something you want in your library.
I have to admit that I am a bit confused and not so sure how Mogul made me feel. I didn’t adore it but I didn’t hate it also. I don’t know what happened. The story, even though it was great and I liked the idea of it, for some reason, it left me a bit unaffected for the most part (70%). And, really that last 30% was what saved me.
I love Katy Evans, her men, her stories, her worlds with a vengeance. I am always eager to dive into anything new of hers because it’s just amazing the kind of storylines her mind comes up with. And Mogul really had and has an extremely interesting plot unfolding, but, like I said, this time I couldn’t get into the high mind space I enter before, while and after reading one of her books.
Of course, before doing anything with the ARC, I devoured one again Bryn & Aaric’s (Tycoon) love and I have to confess I needed that mind-refreshment since they were moments I had forgotten. Needless to say that one of my very first thoughts when I saw Mogul was “MORE AARIC & BRYN!!! YAY!!!”. I know it’s not fair to neither Ian nor Sara, for whose story I was pretty freaking intrigued after all the hints they were thrown in the first book, but Aaric & Bryn were too intense to not wanting more of them. Katy had left them in a kind of limbo which only registered in my head after this time’s reread of Tycoon. She had actually written a cliffhanger without it being one. *mind blown*
And then, it’s the characters and their love. Also mixed feelings about Sara & Ian. Maybe a few more concerning Sara since, at some moments, she wasn’t able to stand by her own decisions in her mind. I couldn’t keep up with her on those moments. She was a sweet female with A M A Z I N G levels of sassiness and fierceness and just being a dancer made me like her a bit more, but in the end, I guess I couldn’t pass on the side of “loved her”. As for Ian, his determination, persistent and hard work hit me the most about him. Oh yes, and his outstanding performances in the bedroom. Pheww! I had the AC on high and ON all the time just so my body could deal with THAT heat!!!! And their love journey? Beautiful no matter what!!
Independently my indecision about my overall feelings about this book, it doesn’t erase the fact that Evans wrote another beautiful story. She undoubtedly did an amazing job with this couple, just like she does with every other she artificially creates. And after the hints and teasers, she threw in there about Becka, I can’t wait to see what it’s hidden behind her story and become a witness of her own journey to HEA.
