Trying to lose your virginity at a New Year’s party isn’t the best plan. The only things worse? When the guy turns you down but you still have to work with him.I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, but here goes. My name is Emmie and I’m a virgin. I know what you’re thinking. How could a twenty-eight-year-old woman who runs her own company not have turned in her V-card by now? While I won’t go … turned in her V-card by now?
While I won’t go into details about it right now, I will admit that I’ve been a bit busy with work. Time flies when there’s a media empire to build. But I decided this year to make things right. A new year’s resolution. To find someone to make me a woman before the clock strikes twelve.
It’s all going to plan. I find the hottest guy at the party. He is more than willing to come up to my bedroom. Then I make the mistake of trying to kiss him. Not only did I not pop my cherry, but I can’t ever look Jon in the eyes again.
Hi, I’m Jon. The one Emmie tries to seduce on New Year’s. Things are still a bit fuzzy about that night, but I do remember Emmie. She’s beautiful and knows what she wants. Emmie is a guy’s wet dream. She’s my wet dream.
I’m in control of my life. I run a successful company with my sister and work hard to do things right. I make sure things get done right without a hair out of place. But when I’m around Emmie it’s as if I met my match. My work suffers and everything I do is wrong.
I should walk away from her. Tell her I want no part in her life. The trouble is whenever I leave, I can’t stop thinking about her.
I’m ready to let her take control of my heart but what if she doesn’t want it?
She threw herself at him and he turned her down. Embarrassing, awkward, and a bit pitiful. All that describes the woman that built a media empire by the age of twenty-eight. She never wanted to see him again and now, she’s forced to work with him to keep her company afloat.more

How can two people so good at being professionals be so bad at personal relationships? This is a quick read about Emmie and Jon both successful in their own right yet both incredibly unsuccessful in the love and romance department. Emmie is a 28 year old virgin looking to rid herself of that title by the end of the year. Jon is a dedicated agent who only has time for a friends with benefits situation. Will Jon reconsider after he realizes all Emmie is offering? Will Emmie be able to overcome her awkward embarrassment and snag the guy she wants? You’ll have to read to find out. This is a quick read full of fun, banter and chemistry. Much like the first two books in this series book #3 does not disappoint! You can read this as a stand alone however its just going to make you want to read the first two!
HOT! HOT! HOT! MOGUL by Elizabeth Lynx was PHENOMENAL!!! Loved every minute of this Book!! It has Everything you can Ask for and a Rollercoaster Ride of Epic Emotional Proportions!! DEFINITELY A MUST READ BOOK!!
THE WHOLE SERIES WILL BLOW YOU MIND!!
I love the Price of Fame Series! I fell in love with this entire series I definitely recommend everyone to read it!
Mogul finally gives us the story of Emily and Jon. They have been in the prior books but really only know they both work a lot and are great at what they do. So how are two people, who are great in their professions and at business, so very awkward when it comes to personal relationships. Emily wants to lose her Vcard on New Years, and chose Jon to be the man to do the honors as he seemed interested. Let’s just say, that’s when the comedy began. These two find themselves in unusual and comical situations constantly. Can they both admit to wanting to be more than friends with benefits? Can they still work together? They are both endearing characters and sometimes you just want to say get out of your head and say what you really feel and mean. It was a great read that once I started I did not want to put down until I was done. I’m a little sad the series is already over, as I would love to know how life progresses for each of the characters in all three of the books. I love Elizabeth Lynx’s writing style and her characters that are very multi-dimensional. Very much looking forward to my next read by her. If you are in need of a great book and some laugh out loud moments then I suggest picking up this book. It can be read as a standalone, but reading it in series order will give you more of the background on most of the characters in this book.
I enjoyed this book a lot. The book blurb does a great job explaining the story. Both Jon and Emmie are very likable characters and so darn cute together! There is never a dull moment in this fun, steamy, sexy story. Great read.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
I enjoyed reading Emmie and Jon’s story. This pair was comical. They were a match made in heaven. I found Emmie was great at sticking her foot in her mouth often. This couple was electrifying together. Jon never expected to ever find the one. Emmie turned his world as he knew it upside down. These two character’s find their HEA.
I found each heroine funnier then the previous book in the, Price of Fame series. I love Elizabeth Lynx sense of humor in her books. Each story can be read as a standalone, without needing to read any of the other books in this series.
Book 3 of the Prince of Fame series and we get the story of Emmie and Jon. Emmie is a virgin and tries to seduce Jon. Jon barely remembers but can’t keep away from Emmie. The story of these two is a hot mess of fun to read.
I have really been looking forward to Jon’s story, and Mogul SO did not disappoint! Both Emmie & Jon are such perfectionist perfessionals, that it seemed so out of character for them to be tongue tied and/or goof up (ROYALLY) – funny as h€!! though! I must say, I have read all 3 books in this series, and this was by far the most entertaining (comically speaking) in my opinion.
These two have always liked each other, but due to desire to be a ‘good guy’, miscommunication galore, and assumptions (you know what they say when you a$$-u-me!) it took a bit for them to get on the same page.
Not gonna spoil any of the situations these two have found themselves in. For two professionals normally at the top of their games, seeing them off-kilter is comical in itself. Jon, having been bewitched, can’t seem to function correctly around Emmie. So, what exactly is Emmie’s excuss -inexperience around men?! Regardless, you just have to read this book. I received it as an ARC, but just like the other two, I got a copy for my permanent Kindle library.
Happy reading!
I liked this book, it had great chemistry. I thought the author really knows how to pull the reader in. Great characters.
This is book 3 in the Price of Fame series. We finally get to see Emmie fall in love. This book was so hilarious. Don’t have to read the first 2 books but you get to meet her corky friends. I loved how this was a short read. It definitely packed a punch.
A fun story between Jon and Emmie. A friends with benefits situation that turns into something more. These two get more than they bargained for when Emmie decides to lose her virginity, and Jon is just along for the ride. A quick and enjoyable read!!
Emmie is a strong, career driven woman. She lives with her mom and sister but that doesn’t mean she’s not independent and doesn’t go after what she wants.
Jon is an agent that doesn’t have time for a relationship other than “friends with benefits”. His career is priority and dating not in his vocabulary.
Emmie and Jon share the same friends and can’t help but being at the same places, at the same time. So, when they celebrate New Year’s Eve with their friends, Emmie is ready to finally turn in her V Card and who better than the handsome, sexy agent who looks at her like he’s ready to eat her up. Jon is ready to make his move with Emmie but when he finds out what she’s ready to offer him, will he man up and take it or will he be a coward and run? Well read this and find out…
Emmie gets her story and it is so worth it. Emmie is a hard working lady who finds herself in her late twenties with her v card. She decides that Jon is the perfect candidate to relieve her of this status on New Years Eve.
Alas things do not go to plan.
This read is a quick, witty and heartwarming read. I really enjoyed reading this story and these characters are great in every way.
Elizabeth Lynx never disappoints, as the series comes along the books keeps getting better and better. A wonderful story. It’s a great romantic comedy that has you to the edge of your seat. A must read.
This was a funny story with a lot of happy endings.
Jon and Emmie started out in a not so good way. Later on it got better and suddenly they dived down again.
Finally, after a couple of more dives…
I laughed a lot!!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Emmie and Jon have chemistry. Each has their own lack of confidence in love. They find their way.
Oh wow, what a really great rom-com. Author Elizabeth Knox has hit the nail on the head again with this one. She writes the absolute best rom-com books I have I ever read. This is a light read. Lots of laughs and simply fantastic book. Once you start reading you won’t want to put this book down. Highly recommended.
I just finished reading an ARC of this book. It was such a cute, fast read. I was hoping to get this story after reading the 2nd book from the series. It was really good and did not disappoint!
Poor Emmie. Strike one at the virginity loss game. She was so embarrassed and Jon didn’t even know. I liked the pull between them and how sexy they were together. It was a fun end to the series
