♥ A seaside wedding. ♥
It’s the perfect catering job for The Cozy Café.
Except for the body!
Wanting to put the café firmly on the map, Scarlett didn’t imagine things would go so horribly wrong when she took the job at the last minute. Along with her sisters, she’s once more embroiled in a case where people aren’t who they say, and murder appears to be an inconvenience.
Sadly, when money has … people aren’t who they say, and murder appears to be an inconvenience.
Sadly, when money has too much power, families are in turmoil, and a close friend hides their feelings so well, Scarlett has no idea how to untangle this web.
Even the sheriff struggles to get people to talk, and knowing that the culprit is in their midst makes things decidedly uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, George, the cat, is unimpressed to have a visitor in the house and quite happy to let everyone know about it!
The Cozy Café mysteries are light, cozy mysteries featuring a family-focused café owner who discovers she’s a talented amateur sleuth—and a magnet for animals.
Enjoy a sweet treat recipe in every book.
The Cozy Café Series:
Book 1 Sweet Saboteur
Book 2 Candy Corruption
Book 3 Mocha Mayhem

I love the Cozy Café Mysteries! Things really get riled up in Mocha Mayhem. The sisters and their animals and so well portrayed, I know I would recognize them in a small crowd. These animals are so personable. Then there is this well written plot where so many are lying or not telling the entire truth. The sheriff and Scarlett have their handles full trying to unravel this mystery. I could not put it down.

Murder at the wedding!
Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2020
I just love the Finch girls and the usual characters in the series! Scarlett and her sisters step in as replacement caterers at a wedding where nothing is as it seems. The mystery had plenty of turns to keep me guessing. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good read! I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Another cozy murder mystery for the Finch girls to solve. The author once again brings a cast of strong characters and weaves an entertaining and intriguing story. Throw in a few twists and the numerous suspects , add in a touch of romance and you have an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I love Scarlett!! She exhibited so much grace and now I strongly dislike one of the characters and hope to never see them again – UGH. There is a twist that I did end up liking. What can go wrong at a wedding? Well, let’s just say that Scarlett, her sisters and the sheriff find themselves with another mystery to solve. So many lies, twists, and turns that made this my favorite book in this series. Anxiously awaiting book 4.
Bridal beginnings end in death: Finch sisters to the rescue!
In this third cozy murder mystery in the series the cafe-owning Finch sisters step in for an emergency catering job and find themselves front and center to a groom’s death during his own wedding reception! I found the plot fun and engaging.
The usual friction between the amateur detectives and the police still reigns, but with hundreds of potential suspects at the wedding and no one willing to talk the amateur sleuthing is key to solving the case. It’s just a wonder they’ve got time to keep the cafe running! Youngest sister Ruby works her people skills, middle sister Violet sharpens her tongue every chance she gets and Scarlett leads the way with some hunches and outings that pay off bigtime. With plenty of suspects and twists, a mysterious, close-lipped group of influential families with old fashioned ways and a major revelation that affects eldest sister Scarlett’s romantic prospects, this story kept moving and provided an enjoyable read.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
LOVE IS A STRANGE BEDFELLOW
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
A trio of sisters who do sleuthing much to the sheriff’s dismay. The oldest, Scarlett, is dating a paramedic. The middle sister, Violet, used to date the sheriff. The youngest, Ruby, is unattached and the town librarian. They team up with their aunt Olivia and run their café and catering business. The groom of the wedding they cater winds up dead and the sleuthing begins. A mix up of feelings and love triangles amidst the elite of the town leads the readers into an eyeful of reading material.
