In this brand new standalone comes the newest Rom Com asking, What can go wrong?Hunter When my business partner asked me to do him a favor, I had no idea he was sending me on a blind date his mother arranged for him. Iwalked in the bar, saw the woman drinking her third martini, and knew I was in for an eventful night. After the unexpected second date, she didn’t know my real name or who I really … night.
After the unexpected second date, she didn’t know my real name or who I really was.
By that time, the lie was too far gone, and I wanted her too much to admit the truth.
Laney
It’s not every day you find out yourex-boyfriend is engaged.
I shouldn’t have agreed to the blind date. My mother insisted, and I wasn’t in any position to turn down a night out.
I will admit, I definitely shouldn’t have ordered that fourth martini before said blind date even arrived.
The man turned out to be swoon worthy, handsome, condescending—a perfect distraction.
Then I found out he was a liar.
I’ve never been in over my head to this degree.
Then again, I’ve never been mixed up with love.

What happens when you go on a blind date to help out a friend? You only plan to go in, have a drink, make some small talk and that is the end of things, or is it? What if you go on a blind date to appease your mother and to get over your ex boyfriend of four years? What if you both want more but that initial date was all a lie? Mixed Up Love has all the fun and feels we have come to love from Natasha Madison. It is an excellent weekend read that will warm your heart and tickle your funny bone.
Another wonderful story! This book is a stand-alone, romantic comedy and completely enjoyable. I loved both Laney and Hunter and I giggled my way through the story. I would love to see the side characters get books of their own!
Mixed Up Love is a hilarious, light-hearted and feel good rom com. This fast-paced book will have you laughing out loud from beginning to end. After Laney finds out her ex boyfriend cheated on her, her mother sets her up on a blind date and she agrees to go. Hunter’s friend Anthony is actually the one who is supposed to meet Laney however he convinces Hunter to go instead. The comical antics begin as soon as Hunter walks into the restaurant and realizes Laney is a couple of martinis in. It gets even better when Laney realizes he’s the wrong guy! Hunter is such a sexy, swoon-worthy alpha male and after Laney’s terrible break up, he’s exactly what she needs. I loved their instant connection and Ms. Madison went all in with the scorching hit and steamy sex scenes.
If you are looking for a refreshing and entertaining read, then this is definitely the book for you!
I know when I pick up a Natasha Madison book I’m in for an enjoyable and good read, Mixed Up Love didn’t let me down. After the few emotional books by this author it was nice to curl up with a book that is light heart, funny, a little bit angsty, heavy on romance with a side of steamy sexy times. And what a cast of characters!! It wasn’t just the main characters of Hunter and Laney that made this story, all of the secondary characters brought something to the table especially Hunter’s mom and Laney’s bestie. Only thing that kept this from being a five star read for me was some of the wording, but it is a minor complaint compared to how much I loved the story.
Natash Madison knows how to write funny and yet captivating stories. I often wonder what goes through her mind. Because she undoubtedly has mad Talent. With every story that she gives us, it’s different and unique.
Hunter and Laney’s book is definitely unique and Magical. It’s a beautifully written Prince Charming coming to protect his Naive Princess, just a little dirtier.
How Laney and Hunter meet isn’t ordinary but then again no love story starts out ordinary. I loved how Laney wasn’t a “Yes Sir” “whatever you say” kinda girl. She stood her ground when Hunter was a prick.
At the same time you can’t help but fall Arse over Titts in love with Hunter.
Their steamy scenes will leave you in need of a cold shower… It’s an easy quick read and a Gaurentee you gonna be in your happy place when you read the story …
Enjoy!!!!
This was a really fun, quick read romance. It was light and easy with no real drama or angst which makes for a sweet entertaining read.
Hunter and Laney have great chemistry and the banter and chat between them is snappy and sharp. For me, this is an insta love kind of book which I do enjoy, however, I would have loved to have seen a little more development to their relationship. The supporting characters in this story are great and really provide a lot of giggles and chuckles and added depth to the characters themselves and the overall story.
Overall, I enjoyed this book – 3.5 stars
Poor Hunter got sucked into showing up on a blind date in place of his business partner. Laney and Hunter hit it off but he’s using a fake name and once she realizes it how can she trust him. What do you do when you are mixed up in love. This was a sweet fun short read. I adore all of Natasha Madison’s books and this was a cute funny sweet romance between two stubborn characters. I really enjoyed the secondary characters and hope they get a story too. If you are looking for a quick light read that has insta love then 1-click this book today
I loved this book. Hunter and Laney complement other really well. I love how romantic and thoughtful Hunter is.
If you’re after a light, funny, romantic read this summer then Mixed Up Love is the perfect book for you!
When Hunter stands in for his buddy last minute and goes on his blind date, he plans to go in, have a drink and escape as soon as possible.
Laney’s previous relationship ended when she made a shocking discovery, so she’s not exactly thrilled about going on the blind date her Mum set up for her.
When Hunter spots Laney, he’s taken aback by her beauty, but with an un-corrected mistaken identity, a purposely lost phone and a follow up date get thrown into the mix, how can Hunter explain all this to Laney without losing the first woman in a long time he’s actually felt a spark with?
I absolutely loved the banter between Laney and Hunter. Her complete scattiness and lack of safety reminded me of myself and I loved that. These characters are completely normal people with normal jobs and normal homes, and while we all love a good billionaire romance, it was a breath of fresh air to read a modern love story where you can absolutely relate to all the characters. The whole Tinder thing had me constantly chuckling!
As always, Natasha has you completely swept away in the story from the off, I couldn’t put it down as I wanted to know what antics would Laney get up to next!
Another fantastic read from Natasha!
5 lovable stars from me x
You know what I love most about this author? EVERY story she writes, she makes me fall so hard for her characters, so flippin’ fast. It does not matter if it is a somewhat darker read, a lighter read or hell it could be a paranormal and I would still love it. This author reels me in, hook, line, sinker every dang time. Mixed Up Love was a lighter read, that had my soul singing. It is funny, heart warming, and so sweet.
Hunter. When I think of him I think of a protective teddy bear. He was a straight to the point kinda guy, who gets down to business. He works hard for the things he has, and most of the time enjoys his profession.
Laney. She was hilarious, outgoing, and has such a great taste in food and drinks. She loves her job, and has worked hard to get where she is. She is that ride or die friend who loves the ocean so much.
If you have read the blurb, then you know after the second unexpected date, that Laney doesn’t really know Hunter’s name, and he doesn’t want to risk her walking away when the past dates have went so well, but what happens when the truth comes out?? Trust me, you want to read this book to find out. There were some pretty epic scenes, that had me belly laughing. It is so worth the read.
*I recommend this book to people who like lighter reads that are hilarious, and to people that know when yo find the one, then that’s the one.
Five big happy stars!!
Natasha Madison has given us a lighter than her normal book that will suck you in as much as the others. You will be hooked because these characters are all a hoot! You’ll laugh, snort and fall in love. Natasha’s talent is praiseworthy!
Y’all need this book in your life so go and buy it as soon as it releases! You will NOT be disappointed!
Highly recommended!!
Who knew that a blind date could bring on such a turn of events?
I absolutely loved this book! Laney is one spunky woman! That girl! I just love her. Hunter is a tad bit overprotective. And by a tad bit, I totally mean a ton! These two are hilarious together!! With a group of crazy friends and family to throw into the mix, this book will keep you smiling from ear to ear and chuckling through the entire book! A fabulous rom-com that will make you fall in love!
Natasha I absolutely love your mind. This is another amazing read that had me crying and laughing.
What happens when you do a friend a solid and go on a blind date as him? Well Hunter and Laney’ s story will tell you that you end up Mixed Up Love. A heart warming, fun and on your edge of the seat story that will leave you will all the feels
Hunter is cruising through life. His friends work with him at their security firm, and he caved in and did his buddy a favor by agreeing to meet a blind date that his mother had set him up with..and his buddy had already “swiped right” on another date. Laney agreed to go on a blind date to get everyone off of her back….she has a successful dental practice and just found out some disturbing news about her ex…so what is a girl to do but get rip roaring drunk before her blind date? Chaos ensues from there. The good kind.
This book is pretty light, low angst, funny, and hot. Super enjoyable read.
They have real misunderstandings and feelings. Hunter is pretty perfect as far as book boyfriends go…
The cast of characters built in the background for this book is actually my favorite. Hunter’s mom and one of his co-workers/buddies? Looking forward to that story should it be written!
Mixed Up Love was a fast read but it was so good! It was funny and sweet. I loved Hunter and Laney. They had amazing chemistry and scorching sexy scenes! I loved all the banter! I wish this was longer!
What happens when your best friend asks you to go in his place on a blind date? Well you get Mixed Up Love of course! Mixed Up Love by Natasha Madison was just what I needed. It wasn’t overly dramatic and not too much angst. It was a short light read that flowed really well and just left me happy. Hunter and Laney have a lot of insta-chemistry and the secondary characters really added to the plot and had me laughing out loud. I truly enjoyed it.
I love, love, loved the adorable story that is Mixed Up Love!! It is a cute, fun, quick, easy read.
Laney is not thrilled when her mom sets her up on a blind date but in a moment of weakness, she agrees to go.
“Did you really want coffee?” she asks me, and I look at her.
“Was ‘do you want coffee’ code for ‘come upstairs so I can make out with you and see where you keep your gun’?” I joke with her, walking to her.
She puts her hands on her hips. “Um, no,” she says, and I raise one eyebrow, looking at her. “Okay, fine, it was, but I wasn’t going to make out with you. I was going to spill the coffee on your pants and see when you took them off.”
Hunter gets roped into taking Anthony’s place on a blind date. He has zero expectations and is just trying to get through one date. Until that leads to a second date and he gets caught up in the lies.
“Who would have known that being set up on that blind date would have gotten me mixed up in love?”
Mixed Up Love is a book that you could just pick up and read right through without stopping. It is flirty and full of super fun banter, great chemistry and swoony romantic hero!
-5 Stars!!-
Awww! I loved this story! I was laughing non stop and swooning in all the right places! These two were so great together and the chemistry was hot! I freaking adored his mom and oh my god that twist had me dying of laughter and shock! Fabulous book!
An amazing quick, steamy, funny, beautifully written, page turning read by my favorite authors. I loved Laney and Hunter’s story that I started and had to finish. Thank you Natasha for your wonderful imagination.
This was a quick romantic story that was quite entertaining. A 4 star story.
Hunter agrees to go on a blind date in the place of his friend. Laney is expecting Anthony. So when they end up on seeing each other more then once things will get complicated once she finds out he’s not who she thinks he is.
This was a quick read that was fun to read. The bantering between the two was funny at times. Due to the length of the story, I didn’t get a good feel on the characters. I didn’t get to know Hunter at all, there was something missing.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I recommend this story.
