In this brand new standalone comes the newest Rom Com asking, What can go wrong?Hunter When my business partner asked me to do him a favor, I had no idea he was sending me on a blind date his mother arranged for him. Iwalked in the bar, saw the woman drinking her third martini, and knew I was in for an eventful night. After the unexpected second date, she didn’t know my real name or who I really … night.
After the unexpected second date, she didn’t know my real name or who I really was.
By that time, the lie was too far gone, and I wanted her too much to admit the truth.
Laney
It’s not every day you find out yourex-boyfriend is engaged.
I shouldn’t have agreed to the blind date. My mother insisted, and I wasn’t in any position to turn down a night out.
I will admit, I definitely shouldn’t have ordered that fourth martini before said blind date even arrived.
The man turned out to be swoon worthy, handsome, condescending—a perfect distraction.
Then I found out he was a liar.
I’ve never been in over my head to this degree.
Then again, I’ve never been mixed up with love.

Mixed Up Love was a fun, quick read, but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. While I did enjoy the ride, when I reached the destination it was just left wanting. After reading some of Natasha Madison’s other work, this one just fell short of the expectations I have for her writing.
I did have fun and find myself chuckling throughout this book. Both Laney and Hunter were hardheaded and reluctant to admit when they were mistaken about things, which led to some interesting standoffs and misunderstandings. I felt like they had great chemistry and they both had enough of a voice to stand up for what they wanted out of it, but I felt like Ms. Madison may have needed to spend a little more time building the emotional connection between them, as I could feel that bond starting to develop but it wasn’t quite fleshed out In the novel.
The premise of Mixed Up Love was adorable, and I loved the banter. The secondary characters added a lot of entertainment to the story. I almost found myself wanting to know some of their stories as much as I wanted to get Laney and Hunter’s. I enjoyed all the little details Hunter kept recalling, and it added some swoon-worthy moments and hinted at the depth of his feelings for her. Overall, this was a cute read and great for wasting away an afternoon.
My primary wish for this book was that it had more substance. A good portion of the book felt more like an exercise in describing the wealth of the characters, from dropping brand names like the author was getting royalties, to the detailed extravagance of the homes, businesses, and vehicles, I was a little put off by it. Also, while I am all for everyone in the book finding their HEA, I found myself rolling my eyes at the relationships of convenience in this book. Had this book been longer, I think all the issues I had with it would have been solved, as the story had great bones but failed in the delivery.
Mixed Up Love is a fast paced quick read that will leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat once again Natasha Madison has shown us just how talented she is and why she is one of my go to authors.
Hunter’s best friend and business partner Anthony asks him to take his place on a blind date that his mother has set up for him and even though he agrees Hunter knows that imitating Anthony is one of the craziest things he has ever done but what is there to lose it’s only one dinner right , well after meeting the stunning Laney two things spring to me mind first how is this ever going to be only one date and second why is this gorgeous girl so reckless…….
This book has it all the banter between Hunter and Laney is perfect add in the crazy friends Anthony and Sandie and this book becomes hilarious. If you are looking for a book with the perfect mix of passion, humour and alpha males Mixed Up Love is a must read I only wished it was longer and I hope we get more from this group of friends. Great read and loved it.
3.5 Unexpected Blind Date 4ever Love stars
One never knows what can happen when your best buddy bows out of a blind date and forces you to go in his place instead….
Laney and Hunter certainly weren’t looking for love when they were begrudgingly forced into a blind date, but it kinda came at them in spades lol.. They are both good people that each have their own reasons for not dating. Problem is when you find Mr. or Mrs. Right all those excuses just fly out the window. They are both smart enough to know that when something this good lands in your lap you have to jump on it. And jump on each other they do
This was a short, funny little insta-love read. It will have you laughing and swooning the whole time!
Yes, just what I needed a fell good, funny, romantic story, that made all my worries fade away. I loved everything about this read it was a mixed up situation that resulted in to a forever kinda of love. Hunter and all of his co workers sound like such a good time . Hunter helps his friend Anthony out by going on a blind date acting like Anthony, he walks in to Laney having downed two martinis and two more arriving at the table and thinks nope, being a gentlemen he takes her out and gets to know her. Laney a dentist has just found out her ex boyfriend is engaged to another women, she agrees to go out on a blind date set up by her Mom and meets drop dead gorgeous, arrogant, obnoxious T.
This was a quick read with a quick relationship happening, I loved it, the feelings were not rushed or pushed it just happened , I love seeing tough guys put themselves out there for a lady. It’s a good thing for a man to have to win you over. I would love to see Anthony get his story so we can see the RAW Swinging deal.

~ 4.5 Blind Date Stars ~
Mixed Up Love was a quick, fun and entertaining read.
I have become a huge fan of Natasha Madison’s writing. I really loved Mixed Up Love and the characters she gave us in this story. My only problem with this book was it felt a little rushed to me and I felt the ending was kind of abrupt. Yes we get an epilogue but that just rushed things even more for me. With that said, I would still recommend this book to anyone who is looking for that great afternoon beach read.
What could possible go wrong with a Blind Date your mother set up??
Well if you read Mixed Up Love you will find out all that could go wrong. This is the story of Laney and Hunter. Laney has just come off of a devastating heartbreak and he mother feels she needs to get back out there. So she sets up a blind date with a man, but when she meets said date, she’s in for a shock. Hunter owns his own security company with his friend Anthony. When Anthony is in a pickle, he asks his friend to step in for him on his blind date….What could go wrong, right??? This is a fun and comical romance story. I was swept up in the story from the beginning and I didn’t put it down until I was finished.
Mixed Up Love is a standalone novel and is told in Dual POV. You don’t have to read any other books to enjoy this read. If you are a fan of Natasha Madison’s books you don’t want to miss this newest story!! I will warn you that this is an insta love story. Everything moves fairly quickly in this book. So if those aren’t your cup of tea, then you might want to pass on this book. I found that the story still worked and I really enjoyed it.
I loved all the secondary characters in this story as well. They added the comic relief to this story. I also liked how the secondary characters got sideline stories as well but didn’t over shadow Laney and Hunter’s story. In the end I had a huge smile on my face for these characters!!!
I would definitely recommend this book!!!
I love a good Rom Com!! I love everything this author puts to paper.
Blind dates can be scary but so much fun! At times this book was hilarious and others had me in tears. Hunter and Laney are perfect for one another. Who says you can’t fall fast? The ones who haven’t experienced it that’s who! I loved all of Hunter’s overbearing and alfa says. But I really loved Laney’s sassy style. Another five star for me !
He’s got her turned up, turned out and turned on. She’s got him tied up in knots and their both scared to rock the boat. Mixed Up Love begins with the best of intentions, but one blind date later and everything is all messed up. Can love survive a deceitful beginning? Or will their chance at forever go up in smoke? For Hunter and Lazy, crazy in love is an understatement. Their caught up in chaos. Madison sets out to make you laugh and ends up walking away with your heart.
Mixed Up Love by Natasha Madison was a fun, sassy, and sexy fast read.
I really enjoyed watching the storyline unfold, and wondering how Hunter & Laney were going to find their HEA.
I’ve been on Blind Dates years and years ago. They can be so scary and yet so fun!
Madison nailed all the feels!

4 Star review of Mixed Up Love by Natasha Madison
This was a fun, sweet, quick read from Natasha Madison and one that I enjoyed.
After having her heart broken Laney, reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date. Unbeknownst to her, her blind date has double booked himself so he asks his business partner Hunter to take his place.
Hunter is reluctant to help his friend out but finally agrees, after all dinner or a drink in a public place, what can be the harm? When he meets Laney he is attracted to her but she has no idea that he is not Anthony, the man she is supposed to meet. What will happen when the truth is revealed?
What follows is a bit of a roller coaster of a ride. When Laney finds out the truth she is devastated and Hunter (who is attracted to her) has a hard time trying to win back Laney’s trust.
Their were moments I wanted to swoon as I really liked Hunter, he was a great character and Laney was a strong yet vulnerable heroine. There were moments of humour and the banter at times had me laughing.
Mixed Up Love is a stand alone novel that is a fun light hearted read and well written.
What a perfect meet cute!! I love this book!! Hunter and Laney were so stinking cute!! I don’t give spoilers in my reviews, and it’s hard not to give anything away!! This is one of my top reads for 2018! FIVE HUGE STARS!!
This was one of the cuties stories I’ve read in the last couple of months.
I loved how Hunter just couldn’t help being pulled toward Laney. I loved his little gifts to her. I loved her easy going nature and how she loved the small things in life. The side characters were funny too. I especially loved his mom and her look on life.
When you read this book I’m sure you’ll agree with me that if one is looking for a new book boyfriend, Hunter is an easy choice 🙂

Whenever I read a book by Natasha Madison her writing and the vivid characters she creates automatically suck me in. Mixed Up Love is no exception and tells the story of Hunter, an alpha male and Laney, a strong, independent woman.
Hunter agrees to fill in for one of his friends on a blind date and from there the sparks fly. This book will have you laughing out loud and the supporting characters add so much to this stand-a-lone.
This is a light insta-love read, but don’t let that discourage you from downloading this today. So much fun and I can’t wait for Natasha’s next release.
So this is my first Natasha Madison book. I don’t know why, she should of been on my radar sooner, cause this was a fantastic book. I was in a bit of a funk this past week. It happens a lot during the summer. I started and stopped so many books. I picked this one yesterday and just never put it down. I loved these characters.
“The second day we spent together, the sun was shining, but all I saw was your smile.
I’m sorry.
Hunter ”
From mixed up identities, to being knock on your ass by something you were not expecting, to so much more, this book was more than I was expecting. The humor was on point, the swoon was well done, and the story flow was perfection.
Hunter was the one that made this book for me. He is blunt, and kinda set in his ways, and when he gets knocked on his ass by an unexpected night -he makes me swoon. Laney is unabashedly herself. She is strong, independent and an amazing friend. I loved her. These two had the spark you want to see and the chemistry that you can feel.
This is a lighter read then I normally would do. I enjoyed it a whole lot more than I have most insta-love books. I love the build up, the working for it, and the fall into love. I just love watching people fall into love and when you get it with no work it takes the fun out of it. It’s why I never rate a insta-love book 5 stars let alone a 4 stars, you took away my favorite part. What Natasha did here was make everything else so good that it overshadowed the insta-love aspect of the story.
That takes skill.
That isn’t easily done.
Bravo chick, with writing that good I will be checking out more from her.
This book was absolutely adorable!! There are so many things to love about Hunter and Laney from the unconventional way they meet to well, everything else. Laney is so funny!!I love her!! Hunter is sexy, romantic and sweet and I just love him too! Their story is so sweet and fun and really just made my heart so happy!
They may meet under false pretenses, well on his part anyway, but the connection they have and the chemistry is very real. It’s a pretty funny time that’s for sure. Even though he drives her crazy that first time, she still likes him. He’s very sweet and has her best interests at heart.
Such a good, lighthearted read!!
This group of people working at WatchOver Me Security are certainly good for a lot of laughs and hopefully some more stories!!
