Eight authors bring cheer, romance, and a whole lot of steam to the Big Apple this holiday season as they hang some “Mistletoe over Manhattan” in the very first Book Hoarder’s anthology. All proceeds from eBook sales of this anthology will benefit Solar Responders, a non-profit dedicated to installing solar and battery-powered storage systems in first responder stations.
Andrea Bill’s Story is one that you will not one to put down. The suspense and love that bleeds through pages. Love all that is this story!
I read Santa’s Slayings, which is one story in the anthology book Mistletoe Over Manhattan. The story takes place during Christmas, yet it is not so much a Christmas Story as it is a suspense-thriller-horror story. It is a bit twisted that Santa is a killer, as indicated in the title. Then again, in these times, anyone can be a killer. The main characters prove to be resilient and brave. Yet it was not always a certainty that they would make it to the end. There is also a touch of romance and a twist that hints at Killer Santa’s return.
Santa’s Slayings is easy to read. You will read quickly since the urge to find out who makes it through Christmas alive is immense!

I really enjoyed this box set. Totally gets me in the mood for the holidays.
Mistletoe Over Manhattan is a great anthology to read to help get into the holiday spirit. I started by reading the authors that I had read before and then jumped around from and I did read all of the stories. One of the things I love about anthologies is it gives you the opportunity to read short story of authors you don’t know as well as authors you know. They are all good stories. My two favorite are Santa, Is It You? by M.C. Decker and Rockefeller Romance by Jeannine Colette. Some of the stories I was happy with the way they ended and others I hope get expanded because I would really like more of the characters.
I reviewed Pinning of Stephanie Rose and it was everything!!!!!!! I loved the characters and the story! I need a full story of these characters.
Santa’s Slaying – Andrea Bills
This was a great quick read where you are transported to 1960 Christmas time where Santa is on a killing spree and Lorilie witnesses her best friend and flat mate Allie be murdered. Agent Beryl Bills is determined to find the slaying Santa and he sees a determination in Lorilie that speaks to him and he knows he can get her to help, what he doesn’t expect is the amount of attraction he has from her from the get go. There is plenty of suspense, frustration, mind games, attraction and an ending that makes you happy for Lorilie and Beryl but also afraid for others after a twist blindsides you!!

I have read MC Decker’s Santa is it you and it doesn’t disappoint. If you like MC’s books or if you are new to her this quick read is fantastic. Even though it is a short read you don’t feel like it because of how well written the story is and how like able the characters are. Nick is swoony and he and Cali make this so much fun. Add in Chase and you have the perfect family. This is the perfect Christmas story..
Santa, Is It You? by M.C. Decker
I loved this novella about Calista and Nick. A random Christmas text turns into happily ever after, but it takes a few years to get there. A sweet and entertaining read. Was short but a complete story. Nick was the perfect man for Cali and Chase is so sweet too. Just A perfect little Christmas story.
This review is for Santa Is It You by MC Decker. Holy wow! Christmas and a tour of New York. I’d love to visit every single place Cali and Nick did. Plus, I wish I had the luck that our Cali has. I loved this story so so much!
Reading Santa, Is It You?, M.C. Decker’s contribution to the upcoming Hoarder Anthology Mistletoe Over Manhattan, will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit.
Santa, Is It You? is such a sweet story and Nick is even sweeter, or should I say a perfect Christmas present! I loved how even though this novella is a quick read, the storyline left me feeling totally satisfied. I loved both Cali and Nick and Cali’s no-nonsense best friend Kimber. M.C. Decker made sure she delivered all the feels in such a short time. Mistletoe Over Manhattan should be on everyone’s Christmas wish list.
=============================
This Review is for Andrea Bills’ Santa’s Slayings. Let me tell you that Andrea’s contribution is reason enough to buy this Anthology and yet there is so many more fabulous authors and stories still to be read.
How Andrea is able to give you a sense of Christmas spirit while a murderer is on the loose is beyond me but she does! Lorilie and Beryl are thrown together under the most unfortunate circumstances but the pairing is magic in the making.
Andrea Bills throws an Epilogue in Santa’s Slayings that made me audibly gasp not once but TWICE! I need more!!
This story from MC Decker was amazing I love the characters I love the Christmas vibe I’m picking up this in Christmas anthology and reading the rest of the stories thank you for another great collection of books for Christmas time
Rockefeller Romance by Jeannine Colette
This was such a cute book. When Hunter offers Katie to help catch the eye of her boss little did she know what would happen. This friends to lovers story was sweet, sexy and will leave you wanting more. New York during the Christmas season is magical. I highly recommend this story.
Love Lights Up Your Soul!
This is a review for Pining by Stephanie Rose. Pining is a short, but electric romance. It has unique characters and sizzling chemistry. Victoria and Anthony share an easy friendship fraught with sexual tension. Their romance will heat you up and fill your heart with holiday joy!
My review is for Pining by Stephanie Rose.
This is Victoria and Anthony’s story. I loved their chemistry between them and how they move from friends to lovers. Although their lives are very different, their feelings for each other eventually overcome all the differences.
With the support of Victoria’s family, she and Anthony manage to find their happy ending.
I recommend the reading.
This review is for Pining by Stephanie Rose and I have to say wow! This story can be read as a standalone although I do highly recommend catching up with with the other books Simmer and Rewrite. It was great to be back among previous characters and also meet Sara and Josh’s daughter Victoria and her love interest Anthony. Their romance is the perfect friends to lovers that will warm your heart! This was such a perfect short Christmas read and I can’t wait to dive in to the rest of the stories in this anthology.
Review of Pining by Stephanie Rose
Victoria is all grown up and ready for her own HEA. You definitely don’t need to read Rewrite or Simmer in order to enjoy Pining, but I think it made me appreciate Victoria so much more. This woman has a strength that immediately made me crush on her hardcore. Anthony has all that self-deprecating swoon going on. These two are complete perfection!!
This is a review for Pining by Stephanie Rose. Cute holiday novella. Anthony and Victoria were so good together. The chemistry between them was so good. They have been dancing around each other for a while and when they finally do get together, his past (because he lets it) comes back and tries to put a damper on their relationship. From the start of this story, you will be pulled in until the very last page. These characters seem so real. Stephanie Rose is such a great story teller.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Pining by Stephanie Rose
There’s something so comforting and effortless about how Stephanie Rose writes. She delivers heartfelt romance in spades. It’s like coming home after a long day. Snuggling up with your favorite book in front of the fireplace. Pure Contentment.
Pining gave me all the feels thanks to her flawless prose. Her Second Chances series is a favorite of mine and Pining is a spin off but can easily be read without haven’t read her other books. It’s so good to be back with Sara, Drew, Josh and Brianna. The four characters from Simmer and Rewrite. Victoria is Sara and Josh’s daughter. Nineteen years old and struggling with a crush but Anthony is so much more than a crush. The feelings are reciprocated but it’s not just as simple as just getting together when the mind says something different.
I simply adore Victoria. She’s confident and honest around Anthony and that’s all because of the two amazing families she’s blessed with having. They’re so supportive of Victoria and they all especially her fathers give her and Anthony some relationship advice. So many sweet and wonderful moments in the company of the Falco and Kosta family.
Pining is the perfect title for this heartwarming Christmas novella.
4 My Conquista Stars
Pining by Stephanie Rose is everything you want a holiday novella to be.
This story is one that hit me hard. Anthony feels like he’s not good enough for Victoria but she knows he is! The characters are so richly described that I felt like I knew them. I was pulling for them all the way!
Rockefeller Romance by Jeannine Colette Review- This was such a cute ad unexpected holiday romance. People aren’t exactly as they seem and it is always nice to be surprised when you think a story will end up one way but it takes a very unexpected and pleasant turn. If I had any complaints it was that I wanted way more of this story. I would definitely recommend this holiday novella to get you in the holiday mood.
Strangers in the City by J.A Low Review-
This is the first book I have read by this author and I will certainly be searching out more of their books. I really enjoyed Rhys and Callie’s story and the insta chemistry they had with each other and how they overcame obstacles from their past that repeatedly tried to get in their ways.
