Loved this from page 1. Kept my interest as a nice light tead. Enough mystery to make you keep reading. Shhhhh ….. no ending clues ; )
Great stories, every one. I can;t pick my favorite, although I love the Charlotte MacLeod story – it’s nice to see Sarah as the detective for a change. Try it!
Short stories by some excellent authors. Dated in style and approach. Would probably not interest anyone under 50 who is not a literature major.
Fun collection of holiday-themed stories
Sorry couldn’t get into the stories
It was nice to get a short story from so many good writers.
Only one of the stories was great. A couple were okay, but a couple were just not good.
Good variety!
This book is a few years old, and some of the stories have aged better than others. On the whole it’s a lot of fun, and perfect for Christmas time.
Overly simplistic plots. No challenge. Light weight read
Didn’t finish…read the first 3 short stories and really none held my interest. None were mysterious.
Liked the stories from some of my favorite authors.
Collection of short stories by well known mystery authors. Some stories better than others. Most have very abrupt ends that don’t really explain what happened
I always enjoy themed short story anthologies!
I liked this book. It was entertaining and had wonderful characters
Terrible, I didn’t finish it.
A great way to sample the works of authors you may have missed but will enjoy.
Some of the stories were good
Mixed Bag of Short Stories. Some were quite enchanting, others clever and funny, and unfortunately some were duds in this reader’s opinion. But if you can give up on what you don’t like (I can’t!), you’ll no doubt enjoy some of the stories.
Lost interest pretty fast!
