He wants forever…
Pretending to be engaged to the woman he’s already fallen for? No problem. Nolan agrees to Miranda’s fake engagement scheme because as far as he’s concerned, she’s the one. But he plays his role too well, because soon the entire town thinks they’re engaged and things get more complicated—especially since he can’t pretend with her anymore. Then tragedy strikes and Miranda tries to shut him out, but Nolan won’t let her. He’ll do whatever it takes to convince her that he wants to make her his forever.

Miranda and Nolan are best friends so it’s not a big deal when she has to come up with a fiance short notice so her family will get off her back.
Nolan has always loved Miranda much more than a friend but he has never made a move until now. And although she is thinking fake umm nope this sexy man has it all figured out.
The O’Connors are one big loving family and I just love Momma O’Connor. I am sure you could read this without the prior books but I would recommend you begin with book 1 and enjoy each one.
Mistletoe Me, Baby is a sweet and sexy holiday read. Miranda made up a fiancé to get her parents off her back. Now they’re planning on coming to visit, so what’s Miranda to do? Well, ask her best friend, (her muse for her made up fiancé) if he’d mind helping her out while her parents are in town. When Nolan sees Miranda is in need of some help from him, he’s the first person to step up to the plate. After all, he’s been in love with her nearly as long as they’ve been friends – what better way for him to let her know how he feels?
I liked Mistletoe Me, Baby, especially Nolan. He’s a gentleman, he’s hot, and he’s sweet, Miranda couldn’t have asked for a better best friend and fake fiancé. I didn’t really connect to Miranda, but I did like her and Nolan’s story. It’s the perfect holiday read – a little sexy, a lot sweet, and comforting enough to be read during the holidays.
Great book. I would definitely recommend it.
this was a nice friends to true love at christmas story. i enjoyed this novella along with the others in the series.
Nolan knew the moment he laid eyes on Miranda that she was the one. He wants to make a move but her current situation is a bit hectic, maybe the best approach is to wait until things settle down.
What he thought would a short wait turned into nearly a year, but he finally gets his opening when Miranda needs to find a fiancé asap.
What Miranda thought would be quick and simple, turn serious real fast and she falls even deeper for Nolan. But when tragedy strikes, she pushes him away.
Will Nolan let Miranda slip through his fingers? Or will he hold on tight and never let go?
Mistletoe Me, Baby is a fun, heartwarming, sassy, sexy read that get in the holiday spirit while tugging at your heartstrings.
Nolan comes on strong and never lets up. When he says he’s all in, that’s exactly what he does.
Miranda is strong woman that is will anything for her family and those she loves. I love how she embraces her relationship with Nolan even when she tries to push him away.
I enjoyed all the side characters, especially how they all just accepted Nolan and Miranda together without blinking an eye. Brilliant.
Mistletoe Me, Baby is a quick, saucy, holiday read that goes great with a nice cup of cocoa and leaves a smile on your face. Whether or not you’ve read any in the O’Connor Family series, you will still enjoy this delightful read on its own.
This is a quick read set in our favorite holiday town Holly, the forever Christmas town. I believe this is the O’Connor, Nolan. He’s in love with his best friend Miranda Flores that we’ve met in earlier stories. Miranda is just 10 months new to Holly and loves it. She left Florida to distance her from her manipulative family who nit-picks everything. She’s found herself with the guardianship of her 10 year old nephew, Mateo, while her older sister, Gloria is in rehab. Hopefully it takes this time even though Miranda loves having Mateo. She told Nolan she wasn’t interested in relationships with getting Mateo and herself settled into Holly. Nolan has holding her in the best friend category gritting his teeth the whole time.
Miranda’s parents decide to make an unexpected visit to Holly and now she’s got to ask Nolan to pretend to be her fiance while her parent’s are in town. He jumps at the chance! And so Miranda’s confusion and struggle begins when she finds he’s all in. Crisis hits and Nolan is there fore her. She finds love and a relationship are not really that hard to handle at all.
I love all the Holly stories and this one is just icing. Thank you Katie for the free NetGalley ARC of this story for a review! Loved it!
I laughed, cried, and need a cold shower. Awesome story in a town that celebrates Christmas all year round. Miranda runs a community center and is raising her eleven year old nephew. Her sister goes to rehab for drug addiction and drops of her son Mateo. Nolan owns a construction company and is a coach at the center. He has been in love with Miranda since he met her ten months ago. But she told him she wasn’t wanting a relationship right now.Her parents surprise her and want to meet the fiancé she’s told them about. So she has to find a fake fiancé before they arrive. Nolan overhears and says he’ll do it. This is his chance to get closer to her and make her fall for him. She just wants him to meet her parents and then say they broke up but Nolan has other ideas. He puts an engagement ring on her finger and he plans to keep it there.

MISTLETOE ME, BABY is the fourth instalment (and novella) in Katie Reus’ contemporary, adult O’CONNOR FAMILY romance series focusing on the O’Connor family of Holly, North Carolina. This is Miranda Flores, and Nolan O’Connor’s story line. MISTLETOE ME, BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Miranda and Nolan) MISTLETOE ME BABY follows the fake engagement between co-workers at the local community centre Miranda Flores, and Nolan O’Connor. Ten months earlier, to escape her smothering family Miranda left Florida to set down roots in Holly, North Carolina-a small town that celebrates Christmas year round. As full-time guardian to her sister’s eleven year-old son Mateo, Miranda spends most of her time working to support a child she loves as her own. When Miranda’s parents announce a surprise holiday visit, our heroine panics in the face a lie she told to keep her mother off of her back-Miranda needs a fiancé, and the perfect man for the job is her best friend Nolan O’Connor-the man with whom Miranda is secretly in love. What ensues is the building friends to lovers relationship between Miranda and Nolan-a relationship that has simmered for close to ten months, and the potential fall out when Miranda places an end date on their ‘fake’ romance.
MISTLETOE ME, BABY is a story of family and friendship; heartbreak and grief; love and happily ever after. Tragedy will strike the Flores family leaving a grieving family struggling with the loss but none more so than our story line heroine. The premise is sweet, engaging and entertaining; the characters are colorful, real and charismatic; the romance is passionate and seductive without the use of sexually graphic, over the top language and text. MISTLETOE ME, BABY is a quick read; a wonderful holiday love story; a welcome addition to the O’Connor Series by Katie Reus.
Tis the season for miracles. Mistletoe Me, Baby is another example of exceptional writing. Ms. Reus has sentiment on the brain and love in the heart. Nolan and Miranda are each others safe haven when the world gets tough. In the midst of pain they find hope for the future, food for the soul and an everlasting love that can weather any storm including grief. Through rainstorm of life they discover the value of the bond they’ve spent years building and the family they can become. A winner all year round.
