Malcom Fort hates the lights, the songs, and the merriment of the holidays. Once upon a time, he didn’t though–and coming to Snowden is meant to help him find his way again. What he does not mean to find is the beautiful angel who runs Mistletoe, a year-round Christmas store. He certainly does not want to feel what she makes him feel. To rid himself of her, the sickly-sweet store, and hopefully … store, and hopefully how bad he wants her, he intends to kick her out before the holiday.
Only when he goes to tell her it’s time to pack it up, he can’t. Not just because he finds her singing jingle bells and looking like a sinfully sexy angel, but because he can no longer deny the truth. Malcom might hate the holidays—but he does not hate Noel King.
No, he loves everything merry and bright about her—it seems her Mistletoe Magic has made him forget what it means to be a grinch.
Ho ho . . . no?
It’s the holiday season, and the Flirt Club authors have a flirty new short story collaboration to deck your halls.
Meet the six scrooges of Snowdon, a quaint Massachusetts town that goes all out for the winter holidays. If only there was something (or someone . . .) that could melt these scrooges’ holiday humbug and help them find a reason to love the most wonderful time of the year.
Hang those stockings, trim that tree, and get your hot cocoa ready — the Sleeping With the Scrooge series is here!

There is nothing I love more than reading Christmas romances this time of the year. I start reading by the end of October because there are so many releasing. Mistletoe Magic is just one of the many I’ve enjoyed this season so far. This book is short, with a possessive, intense alpha hero and can be read in an hour or less in one sitting.
Malcom Fort hates every single thing about Christmas. But he didn’t used to. Something heartbreaking in his past turns him into a “Scrooge.” Noel King leases a storefront owned by Malcom. He hates her year-round Christmas store and wants to evict her from the building. However, once he gets close enough to the sweet, innocent and enchanting Noel, he can’t throw her out. In fact, he wants her in every way possible. This is a blessing and a nightmare for Malcom. He never ever expected to be attracted to a woman again and the chemistry between Noel and Malcom wakes up his dormant heart. However, Malcom doesn’t want to be vulnerable again.
Watching these two characters find their happily-ever-after allowed me to turn the last page with a smile. If you’re looking for a short, sweet and sexy read for Christmas, Mistletoe Magic is available now!
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)the time to read it.
Malcolm and Noel find Christmas Magic at Mistletoe
I love, love, love romantic Christmas stories and a Scrooge turned into a Christmas Believer is icing on the Yule Log Malcolm had a tragedy occur at Christmas time that has turned him into a Scrooge. Even with her own sad tale, Noel loves Christmas. So much so, she has a store that sells Christmas ornaments, decorations, etc. Malcolm fights it but Noel is the one who brings the Magic back to him. Steamy, holiday short story with a HEA. Can’t wait to read the other shorts in this collection.
Wow this was an emotional read.
Malcolm lost his wife and unborn son fours years ago on Christmas. Part of him blames himself for giving her everything she wanted, and everything Christmas was that. Celeste was his first love, kiss and sexual partner , he took his vows seriously and even four years after her death hr hss bot so much as looked at another woman with desire until Noel. Noel lost her parents but not her love of life. She was happy and bubbly full of joy year round. She used her inheritance to build her little Christmas store and does well with it. But a year ago the building was bought by Malcolm. So when their first interaction was brief they some how felt the same but acted completely different. He immediately wanyed her gone, the store gone, the sight and smell of her gone from the town so he would not feel the guilt of desire. But as the year pressed on he would continue to send eviction notices but watch her from a far. This Christmas a year later changed everything. Their need for each other won out. He was able to tell Noel the truth about his actions and why. But as they gave in to passion his resolve broke and he was finally set free. All it took was her giving him the gift of understanding wrapped up tight with love. Now friends and family he retreated from are welcome in their home and two Christmases later she gives him one last gift that one thing he dreamed of but never hoped would come true.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a sweetheart holiday read that can be enjoyed year round, I personally read it as the holiday season is upon us and Noel definitely put me in the spirit with her love and joy for Christmas. Hearing Malcolm’s story is absolutely heading rtbreaking and I could understand why he feels the way he does but seeing him find a light glowing again will have you cheering him on to continue on the path he’s on. If you’re looking for a fast paced, insta-love romance that you can enjoy in a few hours then this is the story for you.
