I love anything by rose Pearson and although this won’t land in my top ten I still enjoyed it. And I was so glad Mr Lowell got his happy ever after. It was a cute story but it left me with questions such as what became of the Earl of Pembrokeshire was he the cad we were led to believe and if so how do we know this? If the Earl of Poole was such a stickler propriety why was he willing to marry Georgiana when there was scandal attached to her brother Lord Allerton? Just why did Lord Allerton need to marry for money, what was the scandal? I felt that the epilogue was better suited to have been chapter thirteen and the epilogue should have taken place the following Christmas. As with anything by rose Pearson I fully recommend Mistletoe Magic. It has a little bit of everything a misguided brother, odious suitors, kidnapping, somewhat of an other woman, an underdog Hero you can’t help but cheer for, a heroine deserving of true love and of course a healthy dose of romance.

What a beautiful, clean story this was. It has romance as well as mystery and the author did an excellent job writing the story of Mr. Lowell and Lady Georgiana. Lord Poole was an idiot. I loved Lord and Lady Allerton as supporting characters. If you love clean Regency romance, I highly recommend this book.

A chance meeting in a bookstore.
Georgiana is to have another season in the Ton the only difference is this year her brother is going to find her a match and she is very fearful of who he will choose. He finds Lord Poole not a great choice either. On the other hand, Oliver Lowell has made a few wrong moves but he and Georgiana still grow close. Now the only question is will there be a Christmas miracle? Loved this sweet story, poor Oliver he tried so hard but what the English think is proper is no so for an American. The characters were great with Poole and Northcott were perfect snakes in the grass. For a holiday treat this is the book to pick up. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Found this a great read that I could not put down. The characters were likable and personable. The story was believable. A recommended read.

Lady Georgiana’s brother, the Earl of Allerton, decides that he will find a husband for her since she has not had any favorable matches yet and could very well end up a spinster. While she would like to marry someone who can love her and whom she can love, Lord Allerton just wants to find someone to take care of her.
When Georgiana and her brother take shelter in a bookstore from an impending storm, she meets a wealthy businessman from America, Mr. Oliver Lowell, who was visiting his cousin. Although he is unfamiliar with the strict social rules of the Ton and introduces himself to her, his kindness and gentility are easily recognized. Oliver and Georgiana run into each other on a number of occasions thereafter and develop a growing friendship.
Lord Allerton has selected Lord Poole as his sister’s betrothed, but the man is very cold and arrogant toward Georgiana and his expectations for their marriage are not what Georgiana wants. When Oliver is close to returning home, Georgiana doesn’t want him out of her life, but she also must think about the scandal if she goes with him. What will she decide is most important? And will Lord Poole allow her the option of refusing him?
I just love this author’s books! They are always so well written, with wonderful characters that come alive on the pages! How will this love story work out? Will Georgiana’s choices put her in danger? Grab your copy and find out what happens!

Another wonderfully wrote book by Rose Pearson! Lady Georgiana was almost on the shelf and it was her last chance to find a husband, but her brother the Earl of Allerton decided he would find a husband for her. She was thankful for him and Lady Allerton for all they have done for her so she agreed that he could find her a suitable husband. There was some twist and turns and surprises in this story which made for a very enjoyable read. I recommend this book especially if you read the book about Lord Allerton and Lady Allerton’s betrothal and marriage, another great read indeed!

This is another well-written story from the author. Although the story takes place around Christmastime, it can be read any time of the year as the holiday isn’t mentioned too much. It is a nice clean read with the two main characters coming from completely different countries and ways of life.
