Two years ago, Ty Evans stole a kiss under the mistletoe from Shannon O’Neil. Now she’s back in the valley, and he aims to show her there’s a lot more between them. With Shannon’s acting and singing career set to rocket into the stratosphere and Ty’s horse training business gaining acclaim, it’s looking more and more like that reckless kiss will be the only one Ty ever gets. Or maybe it isn’t. A … gets. Or maybe it isn’t. A brush with the darker side of fame forces Shannon to question if she can handle the spotlight. With her longtime boyfriend now her ex, she heads to Northstar to visit her brother and clear her head.
This might be the chance Ty’s been waiting for—an opportunity to convince Shannon that their kiss under the mistletoe was just the beginning of something even more wonderful. Just one problem. He can’t let her give up on her dreams, but if she pursues them, he’ll be faced with the choice of losing her again or abandoning his own dreams to follow her across the world.

I enjoyed it.
Loved this story
Took too long to tell the story.
A sweet entertaining story in which the main character, Shannon, though heartbroken, finds her way back to a good friend and discovers there is more to their friendship than realized.
Great read
Every year, instead of watching Hallmark Movies, I read my holiday books. Some are better than others, but this one was a good read! Enjoyed it.
Shannon gets her first brush with the darker side of fame. Her boyfriend of three years finally shows his true colors and breaks it off with her. She decides to get away for awhile and visit her family in Montana. While there she spends time with her best friend Ty. Ty has been in love with Shannon for years but has pushed it aside while she is away. Now they finally have a chance at a relationship.
Shannon and Ty are best friends who have never pushed that boundary, even when they wanted to. I liked their relationship and how Ty pushes Shannon to follow her dreams. But I didn’t like how pushy Ty was in the progression of their relationship, especially since she was still getting over a bad breakup. Overall I enjoyed this Christmas story and recommend it if you are looking for a good holiday read.
A wonderful, realistic Christmas story. I hate it when superfluous characters and information is introduced at the beginning of the book and have nothing to do with the story. This book focuses on the main characters which lets the reader really get involved with the story and the feelings it evokes. Yes, it is a feel-good Christmas story that truly warms your heart, BUT realistic. One of the most enjoyable reads I’ve had in a long time.
Enjoyable Christmas romance.
Loved coming back to Northstar! Wonderful story.
A kiss under the mistletoe that’s unforgettable? For Ty and Shannon it’s exactly that! After being best friends forever, the pair part ways when Shannon’s music and acting career takes off. Only when Shannon breaks up with her boyfriend do they get a chance to think about how well they know each other. Ms. O’Connell write a sweet, clean romance that offers a smooth story that contains believable characters and dramatic interaction. IF you’re tired of bedroom drama passing for romance, you’ll enjoy this one.
MISTLETOE KISSES is a standalone read with a HEA. Set in Montana in the winter Ty has just heard that Shannon is coming home. They have been best friends for years and he has lately discovered that he is in love with her. Last time she was home she brought a boyfriend. He was somewhat of a jerk and he really lost it when he walked in on Ty and Shannon kissing under the mistletoe. She tried to blow it off but he really got jealous. Shannon has a career in Broadway and her singing voice has landed her a big interview with a very famous studio. Naturally with celebrity the press is not far behind and they print a story that is lies and anyone that knows her would know that but Chris choses to believe them and asks her to leave his house, he doesn’t even want to discuss it. So she leaves and she returns to NorthStar Montana, her home, for the next few months. She will be home for Christmas
Shannon has got some big decisions to make. Her agent has her a contract for a role in a movie, she has to decide whether to take it or not. Then she needs to choose whether she will pursue a future with Ty, or will she forgive and take the jerk back. It is a good story, entertaining and in parts funny. I definitely recommend it.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 9/24/18
