A Christmas novella with cookie recipes included! The Timberton Hotel has always provided a perfect Christmas retreat for regular guests, as well as newcomers. But the small town of Timberton, Montana, hasn’t been the same since resident chef and artist, Mist, arrived, bringing a unique new age flavor to the old western town. When guests check in for the holidays, they bring along worries, fears … worries, fears and broken hearts, unaware that Mist has a way of working magic in people’s lives. Old-fashioned time spent together, exquisite food, conversation and a snowball or two offer guests a chance to trade sadness for hope. One thing is certain: no matter how cold winter’s grip is on each guest, no one leaves Timberton without a warmer heart.

Great holiday book, great characters and great recipes, wish I could have the cranberry orange muffin recipe.
Ok little read without much of a plot.
Loved story
Fun seasonal read.
Mist is a rather mysterious young woman, talented artist and chef, who has brought new life to Betty’s Timberton Hotel with the opening of the Moonglow Cafe. Somehow Mist knows the perfect things to help people who are struggling, and it seems that all of their Christmas guests are struggling in one way or another. But there is something about Mist listening to these people, making special little overtures to help them, and giving them each a special work of art at Christmas that brings the group together. And the gloom that settled over the hotel when the visitors first arrived is replaced by a quiet joy shared by all.
This is an interesting tale. It is well written with interesting characters and backstories. I did enjoy this book and do recommend it
I love Christmas at the moonglow!
Enjoyed the Holiday theme but story lacked closure. Story focused more on the food served at the inn and less about plot and character development. I’d like to see some serious editing and new edition release.
I’ve taken to reading this book every Christmas as it’s what Christmas it about!
Nice light reading
Pretty trivial story – read quickly but without been engaged
I really enjoyed this
A great holiday escape
This book was very good and a short read. It shows what Christmas is about.
Warm & happy
A quick read, with a great message about the Christmas spirit that was shared with others.
Plot was linear, characters were stereotypes, the town was unrealistic and there was little drama. The book was, however, a safe, comfortable yarn.
This is a very heart warming holiday book. The characters draw you in. The food and ambience are superb. I highly recommend this book.
Great recipes
Story had no storyline
I kept waiting for something to happen. It is a pleasant read as far as it goes but it just felt like a build-up to a more complicated story.
Shirt and sweet light reading.
