A Christmas novella with cookie recipes included! The Timberton Hotel has always provided a perfect Christmas retreat for regular guests, as well as newcomers. But the small town of Timberton, Montana, hasn’t been the same since resident chef and artist, Mist, arrived, bringing a unique new age flavor to the old western town. When guests check in for the holidays, they bring along worries, fears … worries, fears and broken hearts, unaware that Mist has a way of working magic in people’s lives. Old-fashioned time spent together, exquisite food, conversation and a snowball or two offer guests a chance to trade sadness for hope. One thing is certain: no matter how cold winter’s grip is on each guest, no one leaves Timberton without a warmer heart.

Very sweet book. Warm characters and a very cozy feel. Felt good while reading it.
Beautiful Christmas story with wonderful characters. Mist is a beautiful perceptive and caring person. Because of her clever talents and insights, Christmas becomes a warm and glowing memory.
I’ve recommended this author’s mysteries, but this is the first entry in a special, sweet Christmas series that is mysterious but not criminally so. It follows characters introduced in a Paige & Jake mystery, revisiting the small Montana town each year as each new book enters the series. There’s a new book releasing today, but start with this first one.
Wonderful book with great characters. I felt like I knew every character in this book when I was done which is hard to do in only 152 pages with about 10 people in it. I cant wait to read more from this author!
Like a beach read but with snow.
Not as good as the first one. I still enjoyed it.
Very enjoyable book with believable characters! I enjoy all of Deborah Garner’s books.
It was a little too predictable. Slow moving and not very exciting.
A clean, carefree read. A great book to read on a cold wintery day.
Upbeat book about Christmas being spent at an awesome Inn. Characters interesting and realistic. Mist, the main character, was in tune to the guests issues, and made their Christmas memorable.
It was just OK. Nothing exceptional. Enjoyed it but will not really recommend it.
Good read for the holidays supplemented with descriptions of holiday meals and decorations.
Such a lovely little story about ordinary people being kind to each other and grateful for life. A prayer to those simple things that make life rich.
wonderful story! I loved every moment of this book. Family doesn’t have to be blood they just have to be connected by heart.
It was a nice holiday story.
I love the Moonglow series. Of course, I love a book that simply has a good story to it with believable characters. It isn’t over done and some characters come back others do not in the series. Just a feel good read. And the recipes are great! The cinnamon glazed nuts are a hit in real life just like they are at the inn!
Heart warming.
A quick short read to get one in the Christmas mood of food and community and happy hearts
It was a very pleasant story. Nice for gentle holiday reading.
One of those books you can lose yourself in. It was light, entertaining, with great characters. It is a fast read and you walk away feeling good, not depressed or scared!
