It’s never smart to be married and unfaithful
A total idiot has loads of girlfriends and is also married with a small child. Then he turns up dead, so who killed him? Loads of suspects right at Christmas time.
Mistletoe and Deadly Kisses (Fern Grove #4), my second read from author Abby Reede. Well-written & enjoyable. Another cute, clean cozy mystery with well-developed characters and detailed settings. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author when I get them. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Tracy works with her Aunt and intern Tiffany at the flower shop her aunt founded wither deceased husband.
An encounter on the way to the shop, and a visit from their Pastor highlight the homelessness problem the town has developed
Along the way, blackmail schemes, petty theft, and romance are revealed- and the homeless have little to do with anything but minor food thefts, though much blame is cast their way.
Some holiday magic seems to be at work, nonetheless- along with several folks still finding a spirit of giving to others in their hearts.
Great KU read!
Another fun read!
This series just keeps getting better! The town has come together to try to address the homeless situation and find shelter for those in need during the Christmas holidays. Tracy and her gang decide to gather donations by letting people kiss under the mistletoe. A novel idea until one womanizer takes things too far. Can Tracy find the murderer before he/she strikes again? Will she have her own chanced under the mistletoe? A good mystery, a little romance, and a lot of fun to read.
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I really enjoyed it. The plot was very original. There were many , many suspects but when flower shop worker Tracy gets involved she sifts her way through the many suspects to find the one who did making the police department not to happy to have it solved by an amateur. I thought this book was a good fast read ! I recommend this book!
I loved the book. It was easy to read and the best book in the series so far. I love that the setting is small town where everyone knows everyone and there is a touch of romance. The story held my interest and was full of interesting turns of events. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to escape with a good light-hearted mystery.
The author has brought back our favorite characters and introduced us to some new ones. The story keeps you reading, in order to find out who the murderer is.

Abby has another great read. The story portrayed sadness, happiness, romance and laughter. What an excellent way to represent the homeless and the positive direction the town came together to help them. The true spirit of Christmas! And, of course, some romance between Warren and Tracy!
This time it is Christmas and everyone is in the holiday spirit or so you think. Not everyone is celebrating when one of their own is murdered. Although he was a jerk, he didn’t deserve to die. His wife loved him so much she was clueless about the things he was involved in that she couldn’t comprehend that he was not only cheating on her but was acting nefariously.
Additionally, there’s an increase of the homeless visiting their town. One person, in particular, is following Tracy after she left the store. She was upset about this and was worried that he was stalking her, when in fact, he was looking for a handout. Her heart went out to him. Although it proved innocent, she couldn’t stop worrying. In comes the Pastor. Tracy meets with him to discuss what occurred. He said there are homeless people in town seeking temporary shelter and a bite to eat. They mean no harm. Wanting to help the homeless, the town people discuss ways to assist them. Without giving too many details about the story, let’s say the town pulled together and had a fantastic solution to help the homeless and showed the real mean of Christmas.
It is refreshing to see the homeless and town folk reflected in a positive way! The story was so interesting, I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t figure out who the murderer was. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Highly recommend this book and the series.
